I hv stopped doing this pose since last year during my yoga lesson as I felt pain & a small lump behind my neck that joins my shoulders. However, e small lump will subside by itself after a few days. I tried it twice more & the same thing happened. My yoga instructor advised me to stop doing this pose as it caused pain & a small lump behind my neck. Pls advise on what asanas to practise to help me adjust my crooked spine. Thank you very much. 🙏

Thank you for writing in and sharing your experience regarding with this Asana and your body at times it’s very difficult to say that we can do all the asanas however I do not know exactly what happened while you were practising as I would say do a lot of warmup before you try anything specially for this one you need to work on your shoulder your neck your spine and your lower body if you have done enough warm up for all this and then try maybe Basha should have become much easier anyways keep strengthening your neck and your shoulder try practising this with the chair like the day one and see how do you feel try not to put a lot of pressure on your neck though🙏😊

My bust makes it very hard to breathe when I try to touch the floor with my toes as they exert pressure on my upper chest. I think for women with large bustline, this asana is very hard.
