    Its personal opinion, but...
For me great leader have empathy, and at least understanding of what people doing, know possibilities of his people, their pros, cons ... i cant imagine following someone who have no idea what is possible, how to influence people in positive way. I think just being human its basic, its easy to get angry and pointing with finger around. Self control and resistance, patience.
True strenght is about building, not destruction.

Some are born great, some have greatness thrust upon them. Simple and easy truth.

This was a concise and helpful overview. Thanks Chris! I am also looking forward to part 2.
When I was in high school, one of our teachers did an experiment. There were about 15 of us, and he gave us a task that required a high level of cooperation to complete among the entire group. However, he offered no instruction about how we should complete it, and it was a timed task - so there was an added sense of urgency. At first, it was completely chaotic as we scrambled individually to make the task happen, until one kid suddenly stood back and started issuing orders that instantly organized everyone, as each person waited for a cue from him, and we got the task done efficiently. It was very instructive for how leadership can arise naturally in a group. I think one of the major ingredients is someone being willing to take the initiative and the task itself being complicated enough to require an organized division of labor.

Chris, your content is excellent! Your background and speed of communication is hindering my own digestion of this gold you are putting out there. You have such a great handle on your material, you can fly through it pretty fast. I can follow you if I put my phone down, and listen with my eyes closed. As a coach, I know most other coaches do want to hear really valuable feedback, and I’m taking my time to give it, because I see the high high value of your content despite these things, and it deserves to be presented in a way that does it justice. I predict you will keep growing and do very well!!! PS, I’m an INFP, I found your content on my husband’s type here so valuable today! Please add a video on INFP sometime, I subscribed today, and I’m looking forward to your future content. I recently did a video on Leadership as well, I thought it interesting that we both used superman in them- here’s a link if you want to see it😀 (see next comment for link)👍🏼keep up the amazing work!!!!💕 PPS do you know how to make a comment private? I would have made this one private if I knew, but I am still learning this platform 🤔

I like all the points you made here, however I will say that it is possible to be part of/ or leading a work project that people are both passionate about and like to make money for their invested time and effort.

I’ve also seen “transformational” leaders who can inspire folks and create a sense of unity even in a transactional environment. Rare, but impressive!

great video, great topic. hypothetically, one is aspiring to be a leader in a given setting- i have observed that every setting has a leadership culture, and can be resistant to any different flavor of leadership.i have tried to read the leadership culture of a few places in which i was new and saw a leadership opportunity, and failed to identify their values more than once. do you have a good cultural yardstick for correctly reading these things?
