@@SigvaldScionofSuccubi Yeah that is what he basically said. In Destiny there are both types of Shooting: Hitscan and Projectiles. While Hitscan is used for weapons like HC and so on (Meaning you hit what you are looking at INSTANTLY like it is in Counterstrike or many other competitive FPS games) vs. Projectiles that are real physical things in the Gameworld with travel time and interaction with the surrounding (like Fusionsrifles, Titan Hammer and so on). This means that the Hammer at riven for example hits Riven -> gets bounced back because physics -> hits you -> bounces off of you -> hits riven again. This is only possible with Projectiles. A solution would be to detect if the hammer has hit an enemy and dealt damage then disable further damage of the hammer. But this fix requires still hours to be implemented and can bring strange side effects. Guess as it's not so heavily abused outside of LW it is no top priority to fix it.

Lol I'm a day one D1 player and I've been getting screwed on raids since that game, I've lost hope in getting any raid exotic that isn't easily soloable or from the kiosk. LFG always goes bad for me, either the raid doesn't get done from people quitting or I've literally had 2 Sherpas leave previous lfgs due to other people just not listening
Here’s a tip, go to the out of bounds wall first and teleport back to spawn. Wait to hear footsteps on either the left or right side and go to the opposite side of which the steps on coming from. Just an alternative method.

I felt the same way. I have a great raid group but they all had 1k and they don’t really like Last Wish. Before tonight I had only 1 clear. Ran it 3 times tonight, easy breezy. Literally the video is perfectly detailed through it all. Ended up getting two 1k voices. I hope you have the same luck!
Last Wish is my favorite raid, so I love seeing people still making things for it. Oh, and Falling Guillotine and Lament still work, too. A little more inconsistent and prone to bugs, but a solid method.
New players to the raid should also load up the extra ethereal key wish if they haven’t done it, it essentially gives you another key to open a chest at the end. It’s only once per account, and it’s an extra chance at loot, so make sure to do it!
Fun fact I once had a run where we wiped because we were shooting the heart, there was some bug that like killed all of us after a sec but we had enough time to get the chest, but because we shot it we had to redo the encounter

I feel like I’ll always remember this raid fondly because of how my first time turned out. Got into an LFG learning group with a kid that basically just started playing. Did all encounters legit apart from Riven. In the end both myself and the kid opened 2 chests due to using the key wish. Both of us got 1k voices in both of our chests and the discord screaming ensued. 🤣🤣
Dude, in my raid group, I had a guy who played LW a ton, but could never get 1k. One day we took an absolute squeaker that no-one liked because they were super annoying through the raid, and he got 1k before my other friend. (Oh, and after many completions I’ve gotten 0 Supremacy’s.) needless to say this raid has a special place in my heart
@@DJNerfStudios two of my friends (titan mains) have vex mythoclast. One got it on his third run, the other on his first. It's insane that the drop rates are so weird :/ after running it a bunch you have a 50/50 shot apparently but it doesn't seem that true. I've focused tier three engrams for vopecula and I've gotten one, every other one has been the bow. Ugh.
I'm one of those that haven't done any of the D2 raids beyond the very first one. All those elite KWTD, must have completed the raid 30+ times people make it impossible to find a group willing to teach.
I've still only done VoG. Was the only one I did in D1 too lol I did the first raid on D2 but got to the end boss and everyone bailed so I never finished it. Ever since then I haven't had the patience to do raids with people. So when I do want to try and do one, nobody wants to help because I have no experience. Would really like to do them, at least once.
U should find an lfg for Riven cheese easy as long as Ur rocking their choice of meta, be it sword or fusion strat. Old raid so Light level not really an isuue. They usually already have a well warlock and someone running the fusion mod if needed. The rest is history really 👍
I appreciate how you answer your own questions knowing good and well somebody else will ask the same thing. Saves everybody time. Adaptive frames are stronger than rapid fires, so I'll use my Hollow Words with Vorpal instead.

I recently joined a clan, but because of my work schedule I always kinda end up being the odd man out when it comes to raiding and stuff, and I feel bad asking for help all the time. This gives me a way to finally at least make the effort to farm for it without bugging anyone that's not already doing the same. Thanks a bunch, your videos are exceptional

Good guide - though you can skip the whole "ups i went to the wrong room around 7 minutes in" just let 2 ppl drop down from the platforms - the rest can stay up top, and when you hear riven roar - its coming from either left or right side. Go to the opposite side of where you hear at, and she is guaranteed to spawn there.
I'm glad more people are playing last wish again because of the demand for fusions/LFRs. I do however implore anyone who's interested in learning the raid to at least try out Riven legit once (aka the intended way). It's an extremely fun and hectic encounter and a very rewarding experience I promise!
I got 1k voices a long time ago with my old clan that carried me through it, I had no idea what was going on, they told me what to do. Now I want to do this with my new clan so I'm researching how to do it, great vid!
There's also the wish to get an additional ethereal key. Not sure if you can do it once a week with each character, but it gives you even more chances once you get to the chest room.
A quicker way to tell if you need to go to the other side is if you stand in the first room, look towards the door that just closed. If you see riven's tail clip through the wall, you need to go to the other side. If you see nothing after a few seconds, you can stay.
I really enjoyed the guide I needed this since I’m a returning player I used to do the old old riven cheese the one with tractor cannon and swords. But I didn’t know there was another way
I learned how to do LW last Monday because I needed 1k this season. I got it 24 hours later on the next reset, only having completed it 5 times total. Still don't have Vex tho
I've been playing this game for ages now, and only just got the platinum after it was changed from doing the Leviathan on normal and prestige to a Master and Grandmaster nightfall. I've never done a raid, but man I might just try this once I get a well rolled Cartesian and Threaded Needle!
Last i tried, unless it was patched, Ruinous Effigy's transmutation spheres can be picked up by the heartbearer and the heart will choose a new carrier. Really handy if you want to cheese it all.

My friends and a I have been doing a glitch for a while now where you don’t even have to do the normal orb run /deal with teleportations to get to the final chest room. We just do the glitch, then casually walk to the final room with 1 player holding the buff the entire time lol
Cartesian Coordinate with Vorpal, Liquid Coils, and a Charge Time masterwork is the God Roll. Liquid Coils no longer increases the charge time stat, only the impact stat (more damage with no downside), Charge Time masterwork will knock .4 seconds off the charge time with only a ~3% loss in damage, and Vorpal is obvious because it is a boss killer. I have one with the aforementioned perks along with Under Pressure and Red Dot Micro (imho that is the true god roll, this thing melts bosses).
I got back into Destiny after taking a break for more than a year, ran Last Wish with my clan for old times sake, and got 1K Voices. Then I ran it again the next week, and got it again. Ridiculous. Had to convince my clan not to kick me out of spite cause of that. I’m not sure if D2 has bonuses for drop chances after a long absence, or if it was just a coincidence that I got jack for doing Last Wish four or five times before Shadowkeep came out. Regardless, the Raid is easier than ever now, so it’s nice to see videos like this for returning players who, like me, just weren’t lucky enough before.
Dude I had 9 keys and the raid group I was with were mad because they had 3, they had already opened their three chest and I had 9 so could open up the rest of the chest and these two guys who were in the same clan one with his ghost and the a party chat, but they were legit waiting for me to spend like half of my keys and then kick me, so I just left and the funny part is i told them I had 9 and said it wouldn't be a problem, but whatever still have my 9 just trying to find that won't be mad about it
So before my 3 runs tonight I only had 1 Last Wish clear. Took awhile to find a good group. Did it three times. Got two 1k voices. Your video helped a lot and I actually knew what I was doing through all of it. Now to try to get Vex on Tuesday.
What causes the sudden wipe? When the damage phase begins riven would become almost instantly immune and we would then wipe approx a second into the damage. It mostly occurred in the second room.
Hell yeah! The more people with the exotic that you’re guaranteed to kill yourself with once per day, the better! Also gotta say I got a Ridge wallet because of you, and it’s amazing! Thanks Fallout!

This doesn't change that I'm mainly a solo since all my friends gave up on destiny and LFG has been nothing but bad experiences in the past, I still don't ever see myself getting this or any other raid weapon that isn't easily soloable in some way, maybe if in lucky in 2 years or whatever when forsaken is vaulted I'll be able to get it out if the kiosk
The D2Sanctuary discord is full of friendly console and PC players who are always eager to help, and they constantly advertise all current raid content. They Sherpa and are very patient, because they want everyone to succeed.
I've never even done a raid and after this season the raid Exotics will be back to being just decent anyways. If you have Null Composure and Sleeper or Merciless Threaded Needle your all set anyways. People are hyping 1k, but one thing to keep in mind is that it only has 8 rounds which is awful.

@@xSOCxGenesis most of the sherpas I've run with, myself included, stay collected for 6+ hours at a time. You actually can't become a sherpa title in that server unless you can do at least that. When I was sherpa'd through last wish, the Sherpa was calm and collected. It took nine hours for us to finish it and the entire time he was very encouraging. When people went down or messed up he would respond along the lines of "That's okay. We all mess up. You'll get it, I'm here to help." Never one did he falter. Another sherpa on my first ever Deep Stone crypt was taking five of us newbies at a time. Another six to seven-ish hours to complete and she was super chill the entire time. Walked us through how to do security, showed us how the ATRAKS-1 fight worked, and was super enthusiastic the whole way. We heard her clapping over the mic when we finally cleared Taniks.
“Lfg is your best friend right now” No fallout... no it’s not. I would rather never get this gun than lfg. Shame bungie still insists on punishing solo players after 6-7 years of destiny.
Just did three riven cheeses two days ago. My friend messaged me and asked for my help with DPS. Oh boy, I had no idea what I was getting myself into. It was a bunch of his old Xbox buddies that either wanted to get back into D2 or were completely new. There were two completely new players, they were so new that they're characters were just made and didnt even a power weapon slotted in. I had to switch to middle hammer titan and do the solo method to make up for the dps of the two new people.
Another way to find which side Riven is going to be on: go to the crystal room and immediately use the join allies spot. Once back up in the starting room listen carefully for the sound of Riven crashing around, it should come from either the left or the right side. Once you figure out which side the sound is coming from, run the opposite direction and jump down the elevators. You should make it down with plenty of time to clear adds before she shows up for damage. I'd recommend this method if people in your LFG are having trouble making it to trees in time using the method from the vid

@@TheAlkahest Melting point lasts 10 seconds. You can’t reapply it, but if it takes you more than 10 seconds to melt riven with 6 Guillotines then MP wasn’t the problem.
You don't need to look for rivens shadow when you drop into the blue room. Teleport up immediately and just listen, you will hear riven climbing into one room or the other. Go the opposite direction and you will be there much sooner than if you wait for the shadow.
If you’re a new player like me, and you don’t have access to season of the splicer gear, You have a high likelihood of getting a Cartesian Coordinate once you unlock weapons of the splicer which I have access to even though I don’t own that season. I got it on my second engram, then learned I already had two or three of those in my bank.
If you have a good headset, instead of checking in the room, you can just do the out of bounds wall thing, then find out whether to go left or right depending on where you hear Riven. You want to go to the room opposite to the side you hear Riven.
If you turn the music off. You can hear riven enter whichever side she goes to from up above. No need to drop down early just to go back up to hit the tree side.
Also if you run a couples Titans with the diamond lance aspect for queens walk you can keep making ice lances and the person carrying the heart can grab a ice lance to drop the heart and reset the timer
pro tip clear queenswalk with bottom tree stormcaller transverses and max mobility you literally walk faster then most people sprint and makes queens walk alot easier
question since ive never done this raid before and none of my friends have either what are we doing wrong that we cant get riven to open its mouth it comes in to the room and never opens its mouth for dps if anyone can tell me what we are doing wrong please and thank you

1k is easier to use, since you don’t have to hit headshots

I think, 1 1KVoices shot counts as multiple shots for the Fusionrifle damage Mod.

Ran Last Wish yesterday for the first time and it was a blast. Definitely sending my clan mates this since it took us so many tries to 1phase Riven.

If you want it to be even easier, slap a bubble and well of radiance on Riven’s toe; 5 swords, 1 Tractor Cannon, about 30 seconds. Done.

For queens walk I highly suggest a blinding grenade launcher, you can hit the taken shields and they will still be blinded

There's also the wish to get an additional ethereal key. Not sure if you can do it once a week with each character, but it gives you even more chances once you get to the chest room.

A quicker way to tell if you need to go to the other side is if you stand in the first room, look towards the door that just closed. If you see riven's tail clip through the wall, you need to go to the other side. If you see nothing after a few seconds, you can stay.
I really enjoyed the guide I needed this since I’m a returning player I used to do the old old riven cheese the one with tractor cannon and swords. But I didn’t know there was another way

I've been playing this game for ages now, and only just got the platinum after it was changed from doing the Leviathan on normal and prestige to a Master and Grandmaster nightfall. I've never done a raid, but man I might just try this once I get a well rolled Cartesian and Threaded Needle!

Last i tried, unless it was patched, Ruinous Effigy's transmutation spheres can be picked up by the heartbearer and the heart will choose a new carrier. Really handy if you want to cheese it all.

My friends and a I have been doing a glitch for a while now where you don’t even have to do the normal orb run /deal with teleportations to get to the final chest room.
We just do the glitch, then casually walk to the final room with 1 player holding the buff the entire time lol

Cartesian Coordinate with Vorpal, Liquid Coils, and a Charge Time masterwork is the God Roll. Liquid Coils no longer increases the charge time stat, only the impact stat (more damage with no downside), Charge Time masterwork will knock .4 seconds off the charge time with only a ~3% loss in damage, and Vorpal is obvious because it is a boss killer. I have one with the aforementioned perks along with Under Pressure and Red Dot Micro (imho that is the true god roll, this thing melts bosses).

I got back into Destiny after taking a break for more than a year, ran Last Wish with my clan for old times sake, and got 1K Voices. Then I ran it again the next week, and got it again. Ridiculous.
Had to convince my clan not to kick me out of spite cause of that. I’m not sure if D2 has bonuses for drop chances after a long absence, or if it was just a coincidence that I got jack for doing Last Wish four or five times before Shadowkeep came out. Regardless, the Raid is easier than ever now, so it’s nice to see videos like this for returning players who, like me, just weren’t lucky enough before.
I've had people get 2 in one run in my groups now for the last 2 weeks, and I'm salty as hell.
Dude I had 9 keys and the raid group I was with were mad because they had 3, they had already opened their three chest and I had 9 so could open up the rest of the chest and these two guys who were in the same clan one with his ghost and the a party chat, but they were legit waiting for me to spend like half of my keys and then kick me, so I just left and the funny part is i told them I had 9 and said it wouldn't be a problem, but whatever still have my 9 just trying to find that won't be mad about it

So before my 3 runs tonight I only had 1 Last Wish clear. Took awhile to find a good group. Did it three times. Got two 1k voices. Your video helped a lot and I actually knew what I was doing through all of it. Now to try to get Vex on Tuesday.
If Fallout had a nickel for every time he gets sponsored by Ridge wallets, he wouldn’t need to be sponsored anymore.
What causes the sudden wipe? When the damage phase begins riven would become almost instantly immune and we would then wipe approx a second into the damage. It mostly occurred in the second room.

@@jethromoreno8965 We figd it out. Someone was hitting her eyes. If you stay on the mouth you get the full damage phase with no wipe.

This doesn't change that I'm mainly a solo since all my friends gave up on destiny and LFG has been nothing but bad experiences in the past, I still don't ever see myself getting this or any other raid weapon that isn't easily soloable in some way, maybe if in lucky in 2 years or whatever when forsaken is vaulted I'll be able to get it out if the kiosk
The D2Sanctuary discord is full of friendly console and PC players who are always eager to help, and they constantly advertise all current raid content. They Sherpa and are very patient, because they want everyone to succeed.
I've never even done a raid and after this season the raid Exotics will be back to being just decent anyways.
If you have Null Composure and Sleeper or Merciless Threaded Needle your all set anyways.
People are hyping 1k, but one thing to keep in mind is that it only has 8 rounds which is awful.

@@xSOCxGenesis most of the sherpas I've run with, myself included, stay collected for 6+ hours at a time. You actually can't become a sherpa title in that server unless you can do at least that. When I was sherpa'd through last wish, the Sherpa was calm and collected. It took nine hours for us to finish it and the entire time he was very encouraging. When people went down or messed up he would respond along the lines of "That's okay. We all mess up. You'll get it, I'm here to help." Never one did he falter.
Another sherpa on my first ever Deep Stone crypt was taking five of us newbies at a time. Another six to seven-ish hours to complete and she was super chill the entire time. Walked us through how to do security, showed us how the ATRAKS-1 fight worked, and was super enthusiastic the whole way. We heard her clapping over the mic when we finally cleared Taniks.

Just did three riven cheeses two days ago. My friend messaged me and asked for my help with DPS. Oh boy, I had no idea what I was getting myself into. It was a bunch of his old Xbox buddies that either wanted to get back into D2 or were completely new. There were two completely new players, they were so new that they're characters were just made and didnt even a power weapon slotted in. I had to switch to middle hammer titan and do the solo method to make up for the dps of the two new people.
Another way to find which side Riven is going to be on: go to the crystal room and immediately use the join allies spot. Once back up in the starting room listen carefully for the sound of Riven crashing around, it should come from either the left or the right side.
Once you figure out which side the sound is coming from, run the opposite direction and jump down the elevators. You should make it down with plenty of time to clear adds before she shows up for damage.
I'd recommend this method if people in your LFG are having trouble making it to trees in time using the method from the vid

5 Falling Guilliotine + Tractor Cannon also still works very fine in the Riven shadow's room... It's an alternative
Or 6 Guillotines with 1 Melting point Titan instead.

@@TheAlkahest Melting point lasts 10 seconds. You can’t reapply it, but if it takes you more than 10 seconds to melt riven with 6 Guillotines then MP wasn’t the problem.
You don't need to look for rivens shadow when you drop into the blue room. Teleport up immediately and just listen, you will hear riven climbing into one room or the other. Go the opposite direction and you will be there much sooner than if you wait for the shadow.

Tried using the Seeker/Guide feature, as a seeker, and get a group of Guides that informed me they never did the raid. It didn't go well lol.
Me and some other guys did it today like that. It was my first time at Riven and at the end i got the 1k Voices drop. :)

If you’re a new player like me, and you don’t have access to season of the splicer gear, You have a high likelihood of getting a Cartesian Coordinate once you unlock weapons of the splicer which I have access to even though I don’t own that season. I got it on my second engram, then learned I already had two or three of those in my bank.
I've done this raid nearly 70 times and have Rivensbane but still watched the video cause Fallout.
If you have a good headset, instead of checking in the room, you can just do the out of bounds wall thing, then find out whether to go left or right depending on where you hear Riven. You want to go to the room opposite to the side you hear Riven.
If you turn the music off. You can hear riven enter whichever side she goes to from up above. No need to drop down early just to go back up to hit the tree side.
I love that he ceeps useing the same rige ad each time they sponsor him
Also if you run a couples Titans with the diamond lance aspect for queens walk you can keep making ice lances and the person carrying the heart can grab a ice lance to drop the heart and reset the timer

pro tip clear queenswalk with bottom tree stormcaller transverses and max mobility you literally walk faster then most people sprint and makes queens walk alot easier
