"Solo farm for everything"- Dual destiny, not a solo nor a trio activity, Raid weapons, unless you're a master at this game(if you're watching this video - you're not)-raid weapons, exotics that involve Raids.... Gotta love the clickbait.
unfortunately you forgot to mention tips for players that are free to play aka they own ZERO EXPANSIONS! for those players are unable to get those seasonal armors to focused and the only way for free to players to obtain high stat armors would be to A) play the free to play raids (Crota's End, Kings Fall or Vault of Glass) and do armor focusing and the end of the raid each time, or B) get artifice armor in comp!
😅 mobility is also helpful. It also helps with your Sprint speed and if you keep moving you're not going to die as fast if you have your mobility at a tier 10 you can run as fast as an amplified guardian. If you're the type of guardian that doesn't stay in one spot and mostly relies on speed instead of other stats

Dude, I just finished a chart for a build I wanted to make, and I saw this. This will really help with that build I want to make. You told me the best way to farm for the stats resilience, recovery, and discipline thnk u that'll really help.
This was beyond helpful. Glad I’d been doing the ghost mods correctly on a lucky guess. I had already been getting fairly lucky on quite a few pieces, but now I know how to get to the heart of the issue.
good video, i been doing everything u said, few 3x100 builds after some time off from d2 ;one tip i may add, always pick up quests from fail safe that let u do them anywhere in the system, u will get more engrams, so more armor chances
I'm glad this is being talked about, after season of the haunted they changed the formula and made it harder to get what you want when buying armor from vendors. For example when using a focused ghost shell mod it wouldn't just guarantee a +10 in said stat, but would also lower the chance that you get +10 in any other stats for the pod (resil, recov, mobility are a separate pod from discipline, intellect, and strength.)
Genuinely super helpful commentary. Tyvm and the help is greatly appreciated. Been playing for a long time and never really delved that deep into armor rolls but now I can probably have more fun with some better stats.
Dude you need to make an alternative weapon video for some builds.. Like im new to destiny and don't have alot of the weapons like indebted kindness and zoulis bane.. Make a video of weapon alternatives to the more meta stuff that's acquirable or can be acquired still.. Like not of weapons that no one can get or should have gotten 5 seasons ago..
There's a collection of past seasonal weapons that you will find at the tower and it's in between the 2 vaults section. The must have basic weapon perks to have are voltshot, incandescent and or void combo overshield/volatile builts. I think prismatic subclass and the class item has open up a better way to create unique sets of meta to mid builds also...

Thanks for the video man! i had all the resources to make the stat upgrade but had no idea on how to really focus a stat. i am finally ready for more late game content with my clan
I do like the video, but brother, what did the strength builds do to you! Having a 100 str for my hunter has helped me so much! Don't hate on it soooo much lol
I personally find it better to ghost mod focus Resil because it's the most important stat-if you focus a 30 discipline piece but you get a bad top bucket, it's basically instantly a trash piece. Discipline is also cheaper in the armor mods (+10 is 3 energy opposed to +4 for resil), and I personally think Recov isn't that important, even as a warlock main I usually run nothing more than tier 7
but doing disc basically guarantees the bottom bucket to be the one worthwhile stat, u cant pretend an armor piece with 25 resil and 25 int is going to be any good either, its better to roll the dice with the top bucket cuz theres options at the very least
@@hyperviewed I disagree though, resil is really the only important top bucket and I like having atleast some strength (not on hunter obv). I think it really comes down to the class you're playing, Titan I'd 100% focus resil because 1. class stat 2. disc and strength both valuable since no easy instant way to get back either. Warlock same thing, but definitely want higher disc than recov, but on Hunter I'd agree with you since you want resil and mobility-a big thing that this and many other videos leave out is that a lot of mods/fragments that augment your ability cooldowns are based off of your current tier in the calculations-buffs that "reduce cooldown" instead of "gives chunk of __ energy" benefit from a higher stat for their respective ability tl;dr Discipline and strength are more valuable for double spikes than Resilience + Mobility or Recov spikes, unless you're on Hunter where your melee is tied to your class ability in 90% of cases
Xur sometimes gives really good spiked armor stats but, depends on ur class. Xur also has the easiest way of getting exotics which is by farming the Devils Lair Strike which drops the most Strange Coins
as was really a good video, you broke things down very well and went in perfect order. somethings are complicated and requires some bit of exp on destiny to follow, but you did a good job
When you’re using d2 armor picker, id recommend selecting “assume armor is master worked” it just makes it easier. Also, if he equip armor doesn’t work, you can copy it into dim and paste it there, and then equip the armor pieces into your slots
As someone who really struggles with verbal instructions, this video has helped me finally understand armor (after 8 years of gameplay) It doesn't matter how often it was explained, it never stuck and I always felt a bit behind. Now I actually know what to farm for, and how to do it. Thank you SO much, you have an instant subscriber.
Unless it's changed since, as of season of the splicer, certain exotics also have built-in focusing as well, which can overwrite your ghost mod. For example things like Armamentarium and Getaway Artist have built-in discipline focus, so they will never roll below a 10 discipline stat (This also means they'll never roll over 22 in INT and STR). Not all exotics have this built in, and any that you had drop before Season of the Splicer also wont have this trait either. Just a note for anyone who feels like it's impossible for them to get a specific stat roll on an exotic. However, if you focus a stat in the *opposite* bucket as the exotics focus, it will focus both stats, and can be a good way to really tune a roll to what you want. Note that it seems Rahool focusing can mess with this interaction a bit.
I think this video is helpful for most players but I would like to suggest that having 100 points in a stat is not nearly as crucial in today's sandbox than it was in the past. Previously the bonuses applied exponentially, so having T10 resilience for example would give you 40% resistance, but having T9 resilience only gave you 32%. Nowadays the bonuses apply much more linearly, so if you can't easily reach 100 in the stats you want, you don't need to stress over it.
8:00 I do that naturally & got a good role now finally, just needed certain things to progress a certain way. Also noting, that having weapons that have strength improves that aswell
This is awesome! Any advice how to farm for exotic rolls? I'm guessing maybe grind solo lost sectors and spam focus rahool with the discipline ghost focus?
so this is a weird question but do you offer these guides in text form? i have a difficult time following strickly from videos especially when trying to look work ingame with the information/
The system is definitely ready for another rework in some shape or form. It’s unintuitive and detracts all value from any armour drops once we’ve acquired the stats we want on any single gear set beyond collecting ornaments. I personally like this as the build crafting system still lacks the necessary in-game functionality to be considered “fun”, but it’s not healthy for the game going into the future. Hopefully Bungie find a way to improve this experience going forward.
I had someone tell me that my loadout screams Shadowkeep with the weapons, look and stats and I didn't know if I should be insulted or laugh about it, because the last time I played Destiny 2 before coming back in early june was during Shadowkeep lmao. The guy said "I saw no Resilience and I figured you haven't played in a long time"
I do like Mobility on a Titan. I wanna go fast. Ive always prioritized it. in D1 It was Mobility and Recovery. Had the mindset of who needs armor when you aren't getting shot.
One thing that you didn't mention that is helpful when farming from ritual activities is equipping the Prosperity Ghost mod (as well as the stat armorer mod) so that you have a chance to get double drops at the end. Helps with getting red border weapons too.
It's worth pointing out that d2 armorpicker will not take the exotic artifice capability into account unless you unlocked the slot on that particular piece of armor. So any loadout suggestion with only a few stat points missing can be pushed over into the next tier by upgrading the exotic armor to arifice.
in the Advanced Settings, Artifice Slots section, turn on the "Assume ever exotic has an artifice slot." setting, if that's how you want it to work. gl on your armor sets :D
Basically, usually you only want one 100 in the bottom bucket so that should be your ghost mod(almost always discipline and maybe strength on titan). Then on warlock and titan you want the piece to have 2 mobility(the minimum possible). The best way is just to focus seasonal armor, it will help if you at least get some decent artifice armor(best way is warlord ruin master 1st enc) and definitely get an artifice class item
Whenever I put a ghost mod on I get the guaranteed 10 or 12 and that's it. So I usually just look out for spicy stats on the drops that I get since I also need different stat spreads for different builds. I agree with low mobility on titan but warlock, especially dawnblade, can be very good with high mobility... depends on how you want to play it.
@@Bolts3 you jump higher and strafe faster so it has an effect. Like I said, depends on your playstyle if you benefit from it. But I broke quite few ankles pulling a "hunter jump" on my opponent at close range.
@@mythe6669 it only effects your BASE jump not the height of your double jump and only effects your strafe speed walking not flying which is the whole point of dawnblade
In Pve only stat you need on hunter is resil and discipline focus. Pop all your mods in mobil and have gamblers dodge. Faux 3x 100 without grinding away like a mad man. With prismatic you don't gotta care anyway. It's meta. Use it. Gets a huge regen bump for abilities etc.
I carry a 10 intellect build on every character for Mayhem. I also use exotics that refund super energy in Mayhem like Shards of Galanor and Skull of Dire Ahamkara.
I’m sure this was fantastic for fledgling Guardians, but damn…I already knew this stuff. Still a great video! Not trying to detract from good content. Keep up the good work.
@@chungusultimateif you’re a warlock you get your class ability back faster depending on your recovery stat. In-fact, you don’t need 100 anything so to speak. You can have whatever stats you want
@@chungusultimate As a newlight i was told to spec more into resilience, than recovery, and not put too much into intellect? I know things have changed abit, i use hunter for now and things are abit different on warlock and Titan.? I.e you spec into different attrabutes.
You'll know if a source grants high stat armor from focusing if it says "Focusing with a high X stat due to equipped Ghost mod." where X is the mod you have equipped. Iron Banner counts for this, and can also drop high stat armor on match completion. Not the most efficient way to farm armor, but if you're in the playlist anyways for the emblem and have all the weapons you want, it's a good way to spend your leftover engrams.
@@JJroks543 That is false, it says "Focusing with a high X stat due to equipped Ghost mod." at any vendor that sells armor (correct me if im wrong), and almost none of them actually give out consistent high stat armor.
Hey I’m a new player, and what you said about failsafe is beyond me. I have been doing some older campaigns, what should I do in order to do the episode stuff/things in the game associated with that? Should I abandon the older stuff and just do current content?
Not sure why people go for recovery for hunter pve armor. Highly recommend just mobility and resilience. Recovery comes from multiple sources like orbs, fragments and weapon perks. Mobility is pretty much two stats in one for hunter because gamblers dodge refunds ur melee.
@@nonamename4367I ignore mobility for the most part, it doesn’t do much that you can’t do elsewhere and not sacrificing stat points for something that just improves strafe speed (and dodge but as I said there are other ways to improve your dodge recharge)
I'd say discipline over mobility for pve. Don't ignore it of course, but I'd say resil, discipline, mobility, recovery, strength, intelligence... the descending scale reflective of how easy it is to boost those stats via mods etc
For free to play/beginner players armor related tutorial: OVERALL: play pinnacle activities. Play KF raid u will get ussualy 63, 64, 65 stats (or any other raid). Thank you for this video as I never knew what was good or not. I deleted gear that may have had the spikes but not good total on the armor piece itself.
I've always focused resilience not discipline for all 3 characters due to it costing more in mod points : i have triple 100's on all 3 characters (mob/res/dis on hunter (going to focus for res/dis/strength also for certain builds), res/recov/dis on warlock & res/dis/strength on titan) regardless of build/exotic used. The exotic will make or break a triple 100.
Though intellect is not that important, I would still suggest to get a 30~40 on it when u have ur resil 100 and a high recovery if ur super isn't useless like stasis warlock. Cuz every tier below 30 is a minute cd of ur super.

so this is a weird question but do you offer these guides in text form? i have a difficult time following strickly from videos especially when trying to look work ingame with the information/
Thank you! I’ve been playing for a long time and learned a few things.
Great to hear!
The thumbnail: Quad 100 stats.
The video: Trip 100s with a bad build.
Me: "Oh. "
Not even just quad, but 300 stats all in the same stat pool, lmao. Clickbait taken way too far.
Thanks! Im a new player and this helped me get three level 100 stats! Can you do a similar video for picking weapon rolls?
Man, I really wish I had got this video yesterday, when i spent ALL MY ENGRAMS WITHOUT THE GHOST MOD
Amor picker + DIM + MOBALYTICS just amazing for build crafting
@@mythe6669 high mobility will have 0 effect on your dawnblade
@@Bolts3 you jump higher and strafe faster so it has an effect. Like I said, depends on your playstyle if you benefit from it. But I broke quite few ankles pulling a "hunter jump" on my opponent at close range.
@@mythe6669 it only effects your BASE jump not the height of your double jump and only effects your strafe speed walking not flying which is the whole point of dawnblade
@@Bolts3 no dawnblade flies all the time on console. I won't speak for pc since I don't play mnk.
As a new player thank you. I've been using the Beta DIM for this same thing. What's the thought behind using D2AP over beta DIM?
I hear D2 armor picker or something is the best thing to use for armor and stat support
Hiii, I’m not exactly a new light but I’ve never done any raids or dungeons. I was looking for someone who could teach me and have a fun time playing
Thanks. I didn't even know D2 Armor Picker was a thing.
Np
I've been playing for years and I knew none of this stuff. TYVM.
So is the Armour Picker supposed to filter what you have in the inventory/vault, or will it give it to you?
About 7:15 before he stops fluffing/padding and actually starts talking about why you clicked.
Incredible video. Off course all this could be avoided if Bungie/Destiny allowed us to move stat points around.
At first I didnt get it but after rewatching I so understand it now ty for your help❤
0:32 war mantis (hunter gloves) has something to say about that
War mantis is not high stat armor though. But yes I’m aware
Hey man. Love your chestpiece in the first clip. and the fashion in general. could you share what chest piece it is?
Appreciate it! It’s Valkyrian Vest from season of arrivals but bungies bring back old bp stuff so it’ll prob be back soon
do you have a video on that hunter build its insane
Thanks bro I need 100 recovery, resilience, and discipline
Yeah ive always gone for high resil and dicipline armor, then spec into the third one that I want
you dont need 100 recovery
@@chungusultimateif you’re a warlock you get your class ability back faster depending on your recovery stat. In-fact, you don’t need 100 anything so to speak. You can have whatever stats you want
@@chungusultimate
As a newlight i was told to spec more into resilience, than recovery, and not put too much into intellect? I know things have changed abit, i use hunter for now and things are abit different on warlock and Titan.? I.e you spec into different attrabutes.
@@digitaldogs233 sure but with class items in prismatic, only stat that you really need at 100 is resilence
Does focusing Iron Banner armor give 65+ armor? Legacy armor too? Oh, got to 10:57. I've noticed good armor from drops but not sure about focusing.
Mobility is pretty much two stats in one for hunter because gamblers dodge refunds ur melee.
can’t always collect orbs depends on build
@@nonamename4367I ignore mobility for the most part, it doesn’t do much that you can’t do elsewhere and not sacrificing stat points for something that just improves strafe speed (and dodge but as I said there are other ways to improve your dodge recharge)
I'd say discipline over mobility for pve. Don't ignore it of course, but I'd say resil, discipline, mobility, recovery, strength, intelligence... the descending scale reflective of how easy it is to boost those stats via mods etc
For free to play/beginner players armor related tutorial:
OVERALL:
play pinnacle activities.
Play KF raid u will get ussualy 63, 64, 65 stats (or any other raid).
GMs if you have unlocked and have lfg, (but i think you will get more mats than armors but still good for upgrades)
play prophecy (bec they updated loot) today i got 67 legendary armor xddd
Remember about specific ghost mode stat and the theory of 2 sections of stats: top 3 and bottom 3 (read about the distribution probability)
And boii, play the dares of eternity on legend lvl. Btw it was my first free to play source of high stat armor and I finally then got 3x100.
I know, i know u want those 67++++ extra artifice armorsss and quadruple stats!
Sorry, better armor and time saving engrams focusing is behind paywall 😂 (season of the wish and free battlepass really opened my eyes on that p2w scam)
If you got money:
If u got money, grasp of avarece is good, but still i recommend Duality/Spire of watcher DLC.
Also warlords ruin is op.
If you run higher difficulty run you might get aritifced armor.
But overall if u just buy battlepass you might get that in one week, and not in 4 months
returning d2 player i used to be titan for years trying warlock using Int Dis build being abkle to throw 2 soalr nades that blow up 4 times and regen in 30 seconds so fun
Thank you for this video as I never knew what was good or not. I deleted gear that may have had the spikes but not good total on the armor piece itself.
Amazing ! thanks.
with what activity do you get the Techeun Regalia armor to drop ?
techeun regalia was the defiance seasonal armor set, you can get comparable stat armor from the current seasonal vender (failsafe atm)
I was able to get a glitched helmet last year that has 92 stats
Good video good sir! 🙏
With solstice being available rn it makes this even easier to do
I don’t know what event it was but during witch queen I did an event that got me triple 100 stats very quickly that was kinda cool
Though intellect is not that important, I would still suggest to get a 30~40 on it when u have ur resil 100 and a high recovery if ur super isn't useless like stasis warlock. Cuz every tier below 30 is a minute cd of ur super.
Got triple 100s for arc, stasis, void, solar, strand, and prismatic with multiple builds. Just farm heresy and do the ghost mods.
great explanation - thanks
Do you have a tips for F2P players to gain higher stat rolled items?
i came back to destiny this week after 6 years and this was insanely helpful, thanks a lot
Dude. This video is so good! You taught me a lot in 1 simple video. I’d love to see some prismatic builds from you. I want to play hunter again but I do not want to punch everything!
Thanks!
Good work, you made it simple 👌
iv only ever been able to get 1 100 stat with the others reaching 70 or 80 and here is this guy with 4 100 stat .....
What stats should I focus on with a hunter
can you still get the hunter mask with the teeth? fashion game was on point and i might be trying to steal it lol
Watching this vid with my 19 resilience ☠️
😂
Jail
Nooooooo you need more than that😂
You better not be a titan
Hahaha. Im on 22
Awesome farming Techeunique ;)
I prefer to use DIM as it automatically applies the armor mods and allows you to save loadouts.
Thanks for this, I thought resilience helped with warlock glass abilities 😂 😮
this video got burned into my monitor :(
The max single stat, on any armor, which would include MW & stat mod is 42!
thank you for teach how to watch high stat armor and what should be more careful
I don't know what's up but echo engrams are just barely dropping for me lol. Before I actually started to focus items I had like 90.
Man I have a boatload of engrams. Been waiting for a video like this to use them
