That was one of the best instructional/review videos I have ever seen, thanks man, you made it painless and provided me with everything I wanted to know about this sprayer.
Thank you!! This was so helpful!! I just bought mine and didn’t feel like reading through the manual! You explained everything here so I don’t have to!!
This turned out great! Thanks. I painted my entire kitchen cabinets with this sprayer and it's amazing. Even my painter was impressed. He thought I hired someone to do it for me.
Can you please tell me what setting you had it on? I had mine dialed about half way and it ran like crazy. Now I have to sand the cabinet boxes down and start over. I'm pretty bummed.
Thanks for this elaborate video! I’ve never used a paint sprayer before so your video is a tremendous help! This video actually came up first when I searched for videos for this sprayer and I’m so delighted it did! I attempted to watch the next video that came up after I watched yours and it really didn’t help me at all. 😬 In fact, I stopped the video and watched your other video of you comparing the Wagner and this sprayer. It was extremely helpful, too! Thanks again for taking the time to thoroughly explain how to use this sprayer! 👍🏻
Thank you Jamie. I've had a HomeRight sprayer for over a year lingering in my garage. Decided today's the day to use it on a dresser. Looks simple enough after watching your video. Well done.
This is a great video. I am using this for the first time to spray new cabinet doors and this video is a great overview of how to use the sprayer. Thanks
Wow, this was an awesome review! You really were very thorough without making the video too long. I just ordered the sprayer, cleaning tool, extra container, and even the tent! You rock I definitely subscribed to your channel and I look forward to following your videos. Thank you!
Hi and thank you for this and the other videos you’ve posted. Before coming across your video, I actually had the Flexio 3500 and the Wagner Home Decor sprayer, unopened in my garage. I really wanted a sprayer to repaint my kitchen cabinets as well as my bedroom furniture. However I felt very intimidated about using either one of them because I really didn’t want to mess up my items. After watching your review, demo on this Home Right Paint Sprayer, I was sold!! Yes, I purchased it and learned how to use and clean it within 5 minutes. The same day I was able to put 3 coats one ALL of my cabinet doors, front and back. The next day I did 3 coats of Polycrylic. Last, thanks to you, I went back and purchased 2 more Home Right paint sprayer, one for my mom and one for my best friend, and I forwarded them YOUR video review. I also purchased the Wagner Large tent to use for spraying my bedroom furniture. I do hope Home Right compensates you in some way fir the purchases.
Wow thank you so much for watching and subscribing - it means so much to me! I am so happy this guide has been able to help many people and seeing comments like this really make my day. Thanks so much!!
I've used this thing on 2 projects and in both cases I was underwhelmed. It's my first paint sprayer and although it was faster than using a paint brush, the final results were... meh. Your tips on how much to dilute the paint and mixing it for a full minute made ALL the difference in my current project. I'm so glad I found this video, thank you!
@@steveswanson6280 thanks for the info, I think getting a second container is the way to go. Keep your paint and twist the container cap on inbetween coats, but use the other container for water to clean out the gun!
This was the best video to help all of us know how to use the spray gun. It has always been a mystery to me and now I will feel confident using this! Excellent tutorial! Thank you for sharing!!!!
nice vid. i recently bought one and used it to paint my kitchen cabinets. it worked perfectly and i sprayed it without any thinning. used paint strainers. it just takes a little time to get it adjusted and when you do it rocks. remember it only works as good as the last time it was cleaned so make sure you clean it up. i sprayed a light coating of wd40 on the sprayer and the paint didn't stick to it.
Can you please make a video about the different paints, top coats, and brushes that you use. I’m a beginner and I find it gets really confusing with all the options out in the market.
great video. My sprayer will be arriving tomorrow so that I can finally put the paint on the furniture that I am making for a home project. You used the same exact Behr Scuff resistant paint that I bought. Adding 10% water will definitely help. Thank you sharing.
Thanks Jamie, I hope I spelled your name correct. Your video was very educational and straight to the point. I have the same HomeRight Super Finish Max, but still in the box, I can't wait to do my painting after seeing your instructions. Once again, Thanks a lot.
Great video. Starting my first refinishing project with this sprayer. I’m starting with a primer. Any number of recommended coats of primer before paint? Do you sand between coats of primer as well, even if applying just one coat of primer before paint? Do you sand between coats of polycrylic as well? If so, what grit and how many times? Thanks!
Have a second container and a second person filling up the container every time you run out. You would blow through this container in no time flat using it on a big project like a fence. Did you use it?
@@lisao3041 no I didn't buy a sprayer after all. Waited too long until it was too hot to be outside. After hurricane Ida the fence is last on the list. At least it's still standing!

Great review- I'm purchasing this sprayer from this review, which will be my first sprayer. One question: How much water do you recommend adding per one quart of paint?
Funny, I purchased this same set up with the clean up kit and tent just two days ago and should be getting it tomorrow! Your tutorial came up the perfect time! Thank you.
Thank you for the video! I am wondering how do you find the sprayer when you need to spray large pieces, I usually paint large sideboards and everytime that I spray the counter top(large) I can see strikes from the sprayer...I don't know why!!
Amazon, add to cart! Been looking for a sprayer for a while. Was considering cordless but figured the sprayer would be used very little where a power source would be limited.
That 10% would you put on there to dilute the paint is that like a quarter cup of water. And by the way that was a professional review thank you so much.
I just bought this to paint a Jenny Lind baby crib and I'm worried sick about doing a good job. (Yes, I'm using baby safe paint) All those spindles have me extra worried. My main concern is getting runs when trying to hit all the angles on the spindles. Guess we'll see tomorrow.
I love that sprayer. You did a great job. I have a question, have you painted MDF furniture? If you did, how did it turn out? I have a table made from MDF with raised water rings. I'd love to sand and paint it. Also, have you tried stencils or decoupaging fabric or paper on furniture? Keep up the great videos! Love them!
I just bought this sprayer and filled it with water to test it but nothing came out of the sprayer needle. Air blows out of the needle but no water. How to make it work? I even turned the knob on the sprayer to both + and - but still no luck.
