So glad you're feeling better, I hope your family is doing better too. Your hair turned out amazing! I never thought to layer more than one gel, but typically use only one gel twice, once soaking wet and another time partly dry after plopping. Might try next wash day!

Very pretty results! I would love to see you do this with other gels you’ve mentioned in the past, like Rock Hard Gelee, Chi, Harry’s, etc.
She has done 123 Gel with Harry's gel before. Her favorite Rock Hard Gelee has been discontinued

I haven't used more than one gel but I frequently use a mousse or foam on top of my gel. I get really good hold. I am so glad you are feeling better.

I just love your T-shirt Courtney. Yellow is my favorite color too. Super cute hair 😊 I’ve tried 2 gels but never 3. Lately I’ve been using a little bit of mousse instead of curl cream and it seems to work pretty well. I had fibromyalgia and it constantly tests my faith.

I’m just the opposite. My hair doesn’t respond well to this method. It Seems to need more moisture like from a curl cream.

Gorgeous waves!! I can't wait until my (bob-length) hair is long enough to do that shake to create clumps. 😄 Anything that promises that I don't have to form them by hand sounds like a good idea! Also, the glazing might solve my eternal problem of not putting enough gel on my hair. I'm always seeing pieces that didn't get any product.

Would you ever revisit your Pump or Noughty one brand washday in the new format? Another recommendation is the John Frieda Frizz Ease line, with either the styling gel or the curl reviver mousse! Anyway, great to see your recovery :)
Regarding the pneunomia… maybe doing some daily breathing exercises to really reach the deep ends of your lungs to keep such aired as best as possible will help. Also, they help when feeling stressed…so it is a win win!

I really struggle with tangling on the underside when I come up from being upside-down. I tried to watch how you brush it away and off the neck but I can't seem to get it right. Could you do a short?
Your hair looks great. So shiny. I typically use the Verb heat protection cream then the Verb foaming gel (medium hold), brush style or if I’m lazy just brush through and scrunch, then glaze over the Quidad UV protection gel (strong hold) and my hair comes out great and holds for days. My hair is fine, medium density and low perosity but curlier than yours.
How does the layering compare to mixing them and applying them in one application?
You remind me a lot of myself , from personality, hair type, faith, and health issues. Love your videos and love you ! You have helped my wavy curly hair journey which I’m still on! If you’re interested in a wholistic approach to heal yourself from inside out you should look into Ayurvedic or medical medium books brain saver and brain saver protocols. Library should have for easy audiobook reading or take out and read. Helped me and my son with autism.

Can you give tips on hair that's super knotty please? I can't finger detangle, it's that tangled.
Ok there is a trick for this. First make sure you hair is super soaked. Like pouring water. Then add a good glob of conditioner. Smooth it over. Then gentle rope or squeeze it into your hair. Then start finger detangling. If you feel like there are still a crazy amount of tangles, add a touch of water to your hair again. Adding more water after the conditioner loosens up the tangles. Hope this helps.
What happened to the spray gel and shine gel (9 level) from Curlsmith? Aren’t they favorites still? Also, I am so hoping CS releases a gel in the volume line soon! 🤞🏻
I think really like the Shine Gel and Spray Gel. I tend to save those for the winter. In the summer these are the CS gels that I reach for more often.
