I've been using the denman brush for about a decade now and love it. I removed every other rows so it gives me looser curls with deifnition and they are smooth/no frizz. Just got the Bouce Curl brush because I was very intrigued by the revies I read and was very dissapointed at the results... yes, its super easy to use and I love the handle that can be used to section the hair (with the denman brush would have a similar handle!), it made my curls more tight (wich I do not like) and once my hair was dry, it was a frizzy mess. I looked on YT for videos of the 2 brushes compared and found yours & a few other ones and notices taht the side whare the bouce curl brush was used has more frizz in your hair as well, so it seems to be that brush that is causing that! Also, I put my gel before I style my hair so when I use my brush it distributes the gel evenly on the entire hair length and last more. So my preference between both brushes is the Denman hands down. I will be rturning my Bounce curl brush as it causes way too much frizz and too tight curls (I have above shoulder length hair and do not like my hair to reach above my chin when dry, so the bouce curl did just that + the frizz...). Great video. thanks for sharing!
Bounce curl brush side is fluffier and there's a little more volume..it's a looser curl.. the denman brush gives a tighter curl, less volume it seems.. very good demo!
Yours is the best video explaining the different. Can't wait try this. Oddly enough my hairdresser did ny natural curly hair O'Natural for many yearsincluding my wedding day using a similar method in 1976l. Wish I could post a pic.
Results came out so nice on both sides! Ive tried the denman. I just stick with my tangle teezer if I ever brush style lol maybe one day I'll pick up the bouncecurl brush when they come out with another variation
Well, Bounce curl now has the Volume brush. It's like this one but the grooves are closer together. I have the Denman, both Bounce Curl defining brush and Tangle Teezer (among others). I haven't used my Denman in a while. Maybe I'll do that soon. I'm currently doing a mix of rake and shake and I do the outline and crown area with the Bounce Brush. I have fine, low density hair, collar length and this technique gives me the best volume. I have so many brushes! It's a sickness lol
I prefer the Denman side. That being said for myself I prefer the bounce curl brush by far. Total game changer, considering I can't even run the Denman brush through my hair without it getting stuck or ripping hair out (usually both).
They pretty much look the same.. I think the bounce curl side might be a little bit looser through the mid lenght of the hair. It seems that the bounce curl brush might be quicker because it can handle bigger sections?
Denman brush needs to come out with a brush with a handle that we can use to section the hair and it will be perfect, no need for the bounce curl brush
I have wavy hair, 2C I would say with some hidden ringlets in the bottom layer. But curl type isn’t that important. Hair characteristics are important when choosing the right products and styling method for your hair.

I wonder how they look the next day.
Great comparison, thanks
I like both. They're different looks. It's nice to switch looks :)
Denman side has smaller clumps and Bounce Curl side has looser curls.
Considering I just bought the bounce curl brush and haven’t used it yet, I’m happy to say it’s the bounce curl brush! Hair is GORGEOUS

The tangle teaser is also a great brush for de tangling and brush styling!

I thought for sure the Bounce Curl side would result in smaller clumps. That was a very interesting experiment!
Thank you! 🌸✨
I can’t decide so I’m ordering both right now
I think both sides look the same. Pretty!
Thanks! I thought the difference was pretty noticeable, tho :)
I like the denman brush better ❤❤❤❤
I need to put effort into doing mine in sections! 😂
Both are lovely but I prefer the bounce curl side myself!

Bounce Curl side looks better to me. Thanks for this comparison, I need something easy
I like the bounce curl side !
The bounce curl brush is a game changer!
Absolutely! 🫶🏼
Bounce curl brush the hair clumps are bigger and your roots have more volume. Denman smaller clumps less volume you are right!
I cant find your curl texture gel. Where to buy?
Both sides look similar.
Bounce curl side is my favorite 💗 but you’re right there’s minimal difference
I dont feel it was a fair comparison with taking bigger sections on the bounce curl side.
That’s one of the things that made the bounce curl brush different: you can style in bigger sections compared to the denman.
Do you have a link for that Leave-In- Conditioner you use? I have fine, wsvy hair and struggle with products weighing my hair down.

Yes the bounce curl brush side was definitely quicker to style.
so informative 👏

What is your curl type? I feel like mine is very similar to yours.

Where do you buy the bounce curl brush? Can you get it anywhere other than the bounce curl site? Shipping is expensive…
I found some on shein
@@olandes79 I couldn’t find it anywhere without it being a knockoff so I finally just pulled the trigger and got it from Bouncecurl - thanks, though!
Please don’t buy a illegal knockoff :)
I ended up getting the brush directly from the website! I heard that the knockoffs can rip your hair out - no thanks!
I got one on Amazon and it works just fine, and no it doesn't rip your hair off
How does it look air dried?
The same but with less volume
De bounce is mooier
hi
link to the diffuser: www.laifentech.com?sca_ref=2691680.7CGuFZLHej&
or if you're in the EU: www.laifen.eu?sca_ref=4862264.J3E0RovKz7&
Does this method work on permed hair ? X
yes they both do but make sure your hair is wet and slippery or the Denman will pull and get stuck, not so much the bounce curl wll get stuck
Yes
Hoe doe jij je refresh? Dag 2, 3 en verder?
Ga ik een video over maken
What hairdryer and diffuser do you use
I use the Laifen SE (or swift) with the diffuser attachment.
@@wavydiede thank you
The bounce curl brush is better!
Denham brush never gave me curls like the bounce curl brush
