Honestly, the F-100D was so much fun back when missiles at this BR were all still 9B/E’s with the odd D in there. 2 years ago this was probably my fav jet to fly. Such good guns and nose authority at 800-900 km/h. Absolutely beautifull and actually a good dogfighter for it’s capabilities. Current matchmaking just makes it an absolute psychosis to fly. They need to do that decompression

The AIM-9E has the same rocket motor as the AIM-9J which actualy works realy well for it because although the 9J motor only burns for 2 seconds it produces 18.000 kgf making it very fast at the start so enemys have very little time to react up close. I realy enjoy playing the american F-100D. Still: The F-100F is not worth getting. Sacrificing half your cannons, ammo and being heavier makes it alot worse.
one plane that has been powercrept to high hell is the yak-38, it has good missiles for its br but it turns like a apartment complex and the vtol doesnt work until you go down to only 500k
Use the Aim9 E's as countermeasures in head-on's they work great against all aspect missiles that's what made the F105 grind a fair bit more pleasant for me.
The LOSAT was the ONLY vehicle that had anything going for it outside of the Japanese bomber and Gaijin nerfed it into the ground. None of the vehicles are worth getting and I’m not gonna regret not getting them.

The missile goes 550kmh while your plane will go about 380-400kmh assuming you are on 100% throttle. The best time to launch is your plane in that 380-400km range, and you can drop you throttle afterwards if you really want the missile to go as far ahead of you as possible
Only thing I'm getting from the event is the KI-43 with it's weird rocket. I'll get at least one report naturally and the rest of this really doesn't seem worth grinding for.
imo i think the best air reward they could give us is smth like a worse version of the TRAM. keeps the rockets and huge payloads, looses laser guidance tho.
Yeh felt like this was a missed opportunity to add that or the f 101. Plus the f 101 could maybe plug the weird gap between the f 80s and the f 104 in the tech tree.

This has nothing to do with the video but I don’t think y’all know how hard it is to play 16v16 on console if you are within 4km of a enemy you run avg 14-16 fps and that’s not an exaggeration I can barley play this game anymore just imagine how the game runs with 16 people all loading in at once they need to change it back down to 8v8

Seems it's doing pretty fine in this video and majority of the videos I have seen with the 100F, it's not the best nor the worst, getting average 3 kills per game is pretty good. All rewards this time are mediocre at best, the best one being the Kurama.
This sucks for an event reward. An event reward vehicle should be a new addition to the game. You should not add a worse version of a plane, that was in the game for 3+ years and say it’s cool because it’s not op. That is not how it works
