The Italian P40 medium is not a vehicle that I expected to be particularly amazing in War Thunder, but I was definitely incorrect. It's an all-around great tank with an insane APHE round.

I've overpressured KV-1Es, 105 Shermans, STuHs, and even an Abrams once. The P40 is by far the best tank i've ever played and I hope Gaijin doesn't change a single thing about it.

The #1 at the end of a name means that they tried to use their username but it was, supposedly, already taken. Mine was, somehow, taken already according to Gaijin and so at first the name was all screwed up in-game with a bunch of weird characters about halfway through. So I tried to use my one free name change and Gaijin decided my name was already taken... which I somehow doubt, and so they just tacked on the #1 at the end. Given my name is oddly specific and usual, I have a feeling my initial entry was actually registered correctly with their database but in-game it was all garbled... somehow? Spaghetti code go brrrrr. No idea if anything similar happened with the other players, but that's usually what the #1 is, it means they tried to take a username that was at least registered in the servers already.

Italian and French vehicles are some of the quirkiest in the game, which makes them really fun to goof around with. The D2 especially has some really goofy side armor.

I play the p40 all the time in Italy and I love using it, it's heat rounds melt through anything and I started primarily using those after one match I ran out of ammo with AP rounds so I started using heat and I realized I didn't need to double tap half the enemy's I shot

Funny thing : the "P" letter in P40 stand for "pesante" that means "heavy", the tank was invented as "heavy tank"

The AB 43 would have my wholehearted recommendation if your playing Italy. Fires a good round, amazing speed, no armour best armour.

Thanks for this video about our creation (Me and Kolin0) done years ago for the game. We always appreciate when someone enjoy and have fun with our vehicles (we did also the Semoventes , the Sahariano and the Lancia 3ro)
