Overpowered Small Gaming PC Build | NR200P Max + 4080 FE

- My clean and overpowered SFF build, using the NR200P Max, Nvidia 4080 FE and Ryzen 7950X. No RGB in this setup whatsoever because I hate unicorn vomit. The NR200P Max was actually really easy to build in. You can take apart most of the panels to get access to everything. Probably the most tricky part was getting the GPU bracket back on the case as it requires lining up quite well. But still, not that tough.
The 4080 FE is beautiful as well. Fits perfectly in the case with room to spare. And it matches the aesthetic of the NR200P Max.

Great filmography! Super clean and satisfying video to watch. I just built a super similar PC last month (also inspired by Ali/Optimum), opting for the 12700k and a 3090 in mine. Loved building in the NR200P Max, I agree it really makes building SFF a breeze with surprisingly great temps.

I absolutley love this case, I have the Non Max version but its more than enough for my use case. Its also very modular, you can very easily add more storage via double sided tape & a bit of planning with regards to your sata & psu cable management but definitely a very easy case to work with regardless of your experience
Love the setup! Hoping to upgrade mine early 2023. That LG monitor looks sweet, might have to wait for that
Just found this video from a google search of the 4080 fe and nr200. Doing a build for my brother. Soon, this sold me on using this Case. The Space Grey looks so damn good and with the black innards i'll be putting in, will be truly alien. 👽

Great video and a question…and a new subscriber as I suddenly realized I think I have watched probably 20+ of your YT videos! Nearly the exact same set up I had been looking at for my first ever PC build sans the case…though I think that may now be the case I use. How does one go about getting a full list of part required outside of the major components such as cables needed, etc. Binged a ton of PC build videos but not sure exactly where to start? Any guidance or direction would be greatly appreciated…

For you setup, I’d recommend getting the SHP9500 headset from phillips with a vmoda boom pro mic. I had the headset you have, and I much prefer this. And it’s not too expensive as a combo.
I did have to get an external dac/amp though as my motherboards audio was not loud enough for me

Super clean build man I'm a fan, are you sure on the 120mm slim fans exhausting is correct instead of push air flow method?? from most testing pushing cold air in this case will be better cooling in nearly most cases.
i have the same setup and pushing air in is definitely better.and ive seen other videos where they do the same.idk where this guy got that idea from
I think at other reviews he missed the part exhaust is better when you have the vented panel. With the tpg panel intake is advised.

Hey this a notice for those using the 990 pro. The 990 Pro tends to lose health at an abnormal rate so check the drive just in case. As of right now there is not much info on why that happens but if i were you i would go with the 980 pro instead.
That 2080 super is such a good looking card
I've seen a build with this case where someone put the GPU in with spacers, so the whole card would be lifted like 8mm or so.
Doing so will give you the ability to use normal (25mm thickness) fans on the bottom of the case for intake/outtake of air.
Too bad that's not possible standard, wish they had made the case so that it would be 10mm higher... wouldn't matter for the CPU cooling anyway.

Love it mate! Really good call with NR200P, I suggested the T1 but the NR200P just IS THE best itx case for 4000 series and compatibility. Also was one of the lucky ones to recieve the Glossy Spectrum also so have a similar setup, it's incredible but Dough need to step it up!

Think I'll build a 4080 setup with this case. Liquid cooling. I was also trying to decide between those cards. Seems like 4080 is more Officient and better software.

Hi Thanks for the video , I just got my B650e Itx from Gigabyte and have the same case and I have the Ryzen 7700 cpu to install, did you have to purchase and am5 bracket , I am bit confused on which adapters in the box will work , will the AM4 bracket be ok for the build thanks ???????
Hi I built the same system as you today. What connecter have you used on the 4080 FE for power as the stock dongle cable is very tight and nearly touches the RAD fans. Thanks

Doesnt it concern you at all that the blowthrough fan of the GPU is so close to the PSU? I mean there is like a gap only of less than an inch?

So I literally created this same pc but with g skill ram, 32gb (6000mhz) why does my pc keep crashing when I game, I get maybe 1-20 mins worth of apex legends or Warzone and then the game freezes and the pc ends up shutting off and restarting? Any idea, I’m lost

you can put a 140mm in the bottom with one of those slim 120's easily.
Yes, this is the video I'm looking for; it confirms that this case is big enough to fit an RTX4080, but the next question is, will it fit other models of RTX4080? Or it will only fit the founder's edition, which we know is usually shorter than the partners' cards.
Om newegg you can do build pc and it automatically only let's you pick parts that fit in this case. There is about 10 4080 cards to pick from on the candian site. Several of the 7900 xtx.

I'm curious how this build is holding up for you. I'm considering it. I already ordered the 4080 since I saw one in stock for MSRP. I just need to finalize my other parts. The MAX has gone up in price, but I'm thinking of just buying as close to the included parts as possible to keep it close to the original price. Any issues you've run into?
I think I'm going to build a 4080 setup in this case with liquid cooling. Keeps the cpu cooler and opens up so much more room and flow in this compact case

That case looks epic but I think limited to power supply Size. Also, lacking fans and airflow like this case. I did a lot of research and comparisons. All the reviews say thus ones superior for airflow and layout
planning on building this with a 4080 but just figured out the psu only has 2x8Pin Pcie but 3x8pin are needed how did you solve this???
I didn’t. I just used two and it’s been fine surprisingly. But you can buy a cheap adapter from Amazon.
I am looking to get an itx case but am stuck between the iqunix and streacom da2. Which would you say offers the best quality and doesn’t heat up as much?
I would recommend the iQunix. But the standard NR200 is also one to consider. It’s cheaper and will be cooler.
@@Oliurthanks! The iqunix is definitely the case I was favouring more but wasn’t sure it was worth the 269 dollars plus uk shipping. I will look into the nr200 is well as I have a Nzxt h210 case at the moment which is quite similar but tends to get really hot.

I've heard it's €350 in Europe. It's $450 in the U.S. but you can just buy your own cooler and power supply anyways so it's not a big deal.
