Thanks a lot maybe you can expand "Custom Cables" section to suggest exact cables and preferred length for this build?
Thanks in Advance
also wondering which are the custom cables set up got from the etsy stores
Why the copper colorer cooler? And not the black version?
Mate, this is exactly what I wanted to build. My T1 just arrived a couple days ago and I was looking for the right air cooler. Thanks! 😊
how long did it take to arrive?
what temps are you running at with the cpu cooler?
So I've been looking around at a bunch of T1 builds, and yours is one of the cleanest! Copying this build minus a couple small things! Thanks!
You should check out optimum tech if you are interested in itx builds, his stuff is not possible to copy for a lot of people but he makes some of the most fascinating itx builds
Bro, the quality here is way higher than your sub count Great job. This T1 looks great. I have something like this in mind for my next built. This helped me make up my mind to change over to AMD for my CPU. I've had the same i9 for years and need something beefier.
btw, you might want to update the T1 site link to their new site. The old one is no longer updated.
usually i just skip through pc build's but for this one i just had to admire the production quality! great build man!
Excellent build video, would be very interested to know more about the gaming CPU temps.
Very therapeutic, nice job!
Nice video. I think that the effort in making the seal for the cpu cooler is worth it. It's a SFF build and that air cooler is tiny, 3-4 degrees is huge considering those factors.
Nice video just finished my t1 build. Same as yours with a 240mm aio and love to see that it can be air cooled too
Wow I just found your channel and I love it!
Thanks for this video, I finished my build because of it. Might post it someday on the formdt1 or sff subreddit
crazy production quality - keep it up
It’s really good, but he dose need some more lighting because in some shots it’s really hard to see
Great build 👍
lovin this tech tent!
the fact that you can make the most powerful possible gaming rig this small is insane
Definitely going to consider a ITX for my next build
nice build, gz
This build is so nice
would love to see some benchmarks/temps
How are you liking the cooler setup? Would you make any changes now? Feel like the foam seal is needed?
nice and informative video thx. for the brute forcing the black straws, do you use one straw for each hole or do you take 2 staws and combine them. didnt understand that thx for the help
After seeing many videos, this one Im convinced enough I can build my own without any custom cables, sockets n div 😀... Just order parts and assemble.
Looking at doing the same build but with the proart. What did you specify for the cables?
Any extra turbulence noise from fans being up against the side panel mesh?
Is the foam/sealing section necessary? I don't know the logic behind it is all and I plan to build this exact PC but with a MSI Ventus 3X OC 4080 GPU.
Quick question when you move the ssd do you have to delete it ? Or reset it or something ?
What's the difference with or without the seal? Does it make a big difference or running without it would be fine? It seems hacky to do it unless there are better ways
Does the same case with 2.5v would work with air cooling or shouldI stick to the 2.0?
How are things holding up? Did you do any power limiting to rhe GPU?
Hiya, love your build and tring to replicate it. my only question is there a 7 mm gap for noctua's offset mount? thanks.
Clean the build bro but what are the temps looking like while idle and in games?
The build looks incredible man! I'm planning out a T1 build with a 4070 ti super and a 7800x3d. How are temps on yours under load in this config?
PSU is placed just in front of VGA fan. Is it OK for heat management inside of desktop??
Do you think you could provide a link to the 3D printed GPU bracket for support? Im having trouble finding one that works with this case.
when i clicken on your video i thought u were optimum of how good u are and have a similar pc and didnt realize till the end of the video
What exactly are the temps getting for the cpu in game?
I have the same exact cooler as you but I’m planning to use buy the Noctua duct with the stock fan… how did you manage to squeeze it in with the fan clips 😅
How do temps do after an hour gaming? (e.g. cyberpunk at 4k w/ path tracing and all)
What a dope build! Anything you would do differently today? Like any other parts or would you still recommend everything? I'm currently thinking about getting my endgame PC :)
How good the temp are with axp90-x47 full?
any optimizations done to the CPU?
are you using stock mobo backplate?
how is the temps of the cpu on overload
What temps?
Subscribed! Looking to build something similar, is this build loud? awaiting a 4090 🥲
Could you just glue the noctua fan foam instead of messing around with the straws? Hot glue or something like that. Very nice build, probably going to copy it!
i thought about that or zip ties
For some reason i doubt that cooling will be sustainable for long. Could we please have a temp review?
@JeremiahsTech Why not use the axp90-x53 so you dont have to use so many foams?
turbulence
Can you propose another case for all these components because yours is not available anymore on the site there's v2.5 but not v2.0
hello 👋 how bad is the ASUS mobo? I've been hearing awful stuff from ASUS. have you had any problems?
Hey, saw that you used some standoffs for the PSU, were those included with your T1 or did you get them separately?
Included
How much gpu clearance do you think that there is? I have an rtx4090 gallardo (351mm of length) so im afraid it wont fit. I have it in an nr200 build but im not satisfied bc its still too bulky to actually be "mobile".
The 4090 FE is 304mm and is close to maximum length in the FormD T1. The closest alternative to the FormD T1 is probably the Dan A4-H20 and that one has a max length of 322mm. You're probably going to struggle to find a case smaller than the NR200 that will comfortably fit a 350mm+ card without modding.
that cooler is pretty unreal for the price. cools my 7800x3d like a freaking champ!
No issues at all? Any reason you went with it vs a Noctua L12 or others?
@@alexaiverson I orginally had a Noctua NH-L9a but it just wasnt cutting it and that was on a less powerfull Ryzen 5 7600X. When I swapped to the 7800x3d I decided to try the Thermalright and it's just very impressive so far. CPU never goes above 72 degrees while gaming at 1440p Ultra settings and my build is in a Fractal Terra case.
@@beebssqueebs3843Did you keep the stock fan on it? Did you consider the Noctua L12 at all?
@@liveunfurled2497 yeah stock fan on it. I did consider that cooler but the Thermalright came in at around half the price and with the performance I was looking for. I'm sure the Noctua L12 works great too, I just currently I don't have experience with it. The full copper Thermalright AXP90 X47 has impressive performance for it's price that's for sure.
@@beebssqueebs3843 Im going for the 7800x myself for a new build was wondering did you undervolt the cpu to get to 72 degrees?
what version of the T1 is this?
Will this run a vr headset?
Hey there just wandering, was it possible to fit a 240mm AIO with the 4090 ?
Yes you can
You would need to change the fans to some thinner fans on the AIO tho
How did you know what cpu cooler will fit. I'm looking at 4800super and i don't know how to guesstimate if it's 3 or 3.5 slot
if im not mistaken its a 3 slot i have the 7900xtx and it doesnt fit in the A4-H2O without forcing it even then the side panel wont close with it installed
How is the heat though? Could you render 3D visuals with this?
Not the same case, but I run a similar build at 11 liter on A4 H20. Hottest for the 4090 was 75 while renderering and 7950X3D at 82.
Edit: Forgot to add I have a 240 AIO. But 7800X3D runs cooler so air cool with Noctua L9 is no problem..
It can handle the 7800x3d?
Brother, you can request the purchase of the titanium panels separately, I did that, I bought the titanium first and requested the purchase of the black panels through fmdworks support, everything went well, they are sending them to me.
hey im to to itx here but what is the purpose of the foam for the fan on the last part in the video?
it prevents the cpu from getting recycled air in this scenario but if the fan was too close to the side panel mesh it can lower the (turbulence) sound it makes when pulling air through the mesh
What cable lengths would you recommend for a Corsair SF1000L SFX-L PSU?
Most likely won't fit with fans at the top with an SFX-L, will interfere due it's longer size unfortunately.
@@Dawelio Thanks for the reply! I've actually got custom cables coming that will work. I completely forgot about this comment. But I appreciate you
@@ZimmMasterThat's no worries, I only just replied yesteday to your 2 month old comment so no worries at all. Hope your cables will serve you well :)
I want to see the temps while gaming
Any issues running an RTX4090 with a 750W PSU? Did you try running Cyberpunk at max settings to see what draw you get?
No, there's no issues. Basically every build in this case uses the Corsair SF750 with 4090's and it has been proven time and time again that it's just fine.
@@Dawelio Don't you need 5 PCIE power connectors on the PSU? 4 for the 4090 and 1 for the motherboard/CPU? the 750 only comes with 4.
is 750W PSU adequate for a 4090 video card??
Yes, if you used your cards right.
why not 3.25 slot? what are the benefits of doing 3 slot mode? and if its the psu, how does that benefit the build?
3.25 slot mode brings the 4090 closer to the side panel causing turbulence you can hear it
@@ig7036 ooooo ok
@@ig7036Wait what?... 3.25 slot means more GPU space and less CPU space. Hence moving the GPU further away from the side panel, not closer to it.
The reason is due to 3 slot is what the FE model is and that will maximise the CPU cooler height compared to 3.25 slot. It's already tight with 3 slot mode, will be almost impossible to find a suitable cooler with 3.25 slot mode. You'll most likely need to sacrifice on the CPU choice if going smaller cooler and at that point, it will more and more bottleneck the 4090.
i ended up getting the 2.1, going with a simlar set up. did i mess up?
Did you? Thinking about getting the exact same setup he use. Will the 2.1 version of the t1 work?
@sebi5006 worked out great :) Definitely label the screws before
@@jonvice1217 Good to know, thank you!
Did you get the exact custom cable lengths like in the video ?
Because I ordered and am afraid that they wont work with the 2.1
Can a 280mm air fit on top?
240
Can this be outfitted with a 240mm AIO on top in sandwich layout? I was going to use the same cooler and my liquid cooled 4090, but haven't seen anyone with that setup as of yet.
Check out devyn Johnston he has a build
@@seankillar123great recommendation bro! So cool to know other people watch the same people I do. Devyn Johnston is so underrated
Beautiful build with top components. I'm copying this for my 2024 build, if I can order the case and a 4070 Ti Super.
How's the temps with the Thermalright AXP90-X47 Full Copper on a full gaming load? That's the only thing which is worrying me.
how are the temps going?
@@nichronos bullshit. the axp90-x47 keeps the 7800x3d cool.
@@nichronos where did hou get your information?.
@@nichronos Test it again, but this time try applying the thermal paste first.
@@nichronos You don't know anything about computers so don't come and talk nonsense here.
Otherwise, place an air conditioner on your CPU and you will get temps of -10c
@@carl4713 its nonsense. I have 2 build with the same cooler. Load temps 60 c - 70 c its perfect
no temp test?
@@nichronos Yes it does if you do all core workloads for a long period of time.
Just gaming (20-22celsius room temp) gets you 72celsius or less.
I will be completely lost what goes where lol.
What are your temps?
CPU- high 60s to mid 70s
GPU- high 50s to low 60s
@@JeremiahsTech quick question, did you adjust any fan curves, or is cha fans based on gpu temps all you did ?
why does eveyone build it upside down
That’s the og way but on their website it’s the flipped version
did anyone do the math ? how much this comes to
How is a 750 watt power supply enough for this
Most sffpc builds under volt the hardware. Rarely do they ever "max" out/overclock.
4090 typically uses under 450w and that cpu under 80w so easily. PSUs are rated for constant power and can take higher temporal power spikes
@@ZioCompositeEven without said undervolt, it will still be enough. These days CPUs and GPUs are already at their max out of the box, hence the days of actual overclocking are gone. The 7000 series from AMD and 4000 series GPUs from Nvidia are very efficient architectures, hence not pulling a lot of power. The SF750 is Platinum rated and can even go further than 750W as well.
Endgame? So you are never going to upgrade or build anything else?
Do they still produce this case?
Yes, I just got mine in black today.
@@mannyc19 interesting, on their website it seems to be completely out of stock :/
Sign up for stock notifications. I did 3 weeks ago,I was notified 9 days ago and it shipped.@@NietzscheanMan
@@NietzscheanManKeep in mind that there are essentially 2 different versions of the T1, there's the original T1 from FormD, the original designer still runs this. But there's also the NCASE T1 V2.5, which is essentially is the marketing guy from FormD that went to utilize NCASE's manufacturing process instead. There's been QC issues with this and that case isn't manufactured to the same standard as the original FormD T1 V2.1. Being aluminum side panels, whereas the FormD 2.1 uses full CNC'd side panels if chosen. Much higher quality and in my opinion atleast, looks a lot more clean and sleek.
@@Dawelio comfusing. Which website is the right one? I saw there is a 2.5 now.
Glad I jumped on my 4090fe for 1440 dollars a month or so ago
Stop. You’ll probably get a 5090. I don’t want to hear endgame bs lol
Feels endgame in terms of performance for itx. Might get even better but getting a 90 series card in here is pretty epic
Air cooled the 7800x 3D?? Man idk
Too much thermal paste
very racist
Racist how exactly?...
