@@jdwilleam You're quite welcome 😊
Thanks!
isnt one cup equivilant to 250 ml?
In America this is called a flour tortilla. Put some spicy seasoned ground beef, some iceberg lettuce, some cheddar cheese, and some Carolina reaper sauce on it, and you got yourself a nice TexMex soft taco.
@@pewialmostdie3631 It could be. I didn't double check his measurements. I copied the ingredients from the description on this short and pasted them here. I don't use metric.
I love how everyone has different names for the same ingredients, ways of preparing, and cooking 💜
i’ve been making these since i was a little girl (my family is originally from italy). they are so delicious and wholesome. i loved to make them for my grandpop - he loved making sandwiches with them. i always think of him when i make them. my indian neighbor taught me to make paratha and roti , my mexican friend taught me tortillas- love how every culture has their own flatbreads and they’re all equally delicious and comforting! call me crazy but i do believe flatbread is my favorite food lol
Just made these. Tastes exactly like a tortilla!
It's called capati in East African countries, the fun thing is that you can add in veggies in the dough as well, and it comes up having little veggie in it. It is so good.
Lol its called chapati in india😂❤
As always easy and quick recipe looks yummm. Thank you
Looks yummy & similar to south Asian roti/chapatti.
Looks delicious 👌
Thank you!! God bless!!
Beautiful and lovely with sardines in chilli’s and garlic with a side salad

Look Delicious 😋
I will try it as fresh lumpia wrapper...
Thank you 🙏 I can do this!
At first I wanted badmouthing about where is written recipe. I found recipe in description. After that I wanted complain why you wrote that in cups. After that I found under that recipe in metric. Now I am speechless 😀😀😀 thank you
🥰🥰🥰
😂😂😂
It calls Chapathi in India, every day eats as breakfast or evening lunch with veg or non veg curries
Yesss I love them and made them often. So easy so good! Especially in summer, you can fill it with Tomato's and organic mozzarella and basil or organic French goat cheese. It will lightly melt... Delicious. You can even use Oat flour or any whole flour for a more rustic flavor. Miam 🙂.
I follow your recipe and it turns out soo goood. I will defenetely make it again when I get bored with rice. SOOO TASTY
Measurements?

Tortilla
Your recepi is good on everything 👏👏👏👏👏💐
Cannot wait to make this!!! ❤❤❤
This is a Tortilla that uses olive oil instead of lard... XD
As we all known... olive oil is delicious, and so are tortillas... this sounds pretty good to me.
That is exactly what I thought, either way delicious
What Tortilla uses lard wtf
@@Tom1573realisttraditionally, most Mexican food is made with lard. People are starting to move away from it for health reasons but yeah
Traditionally piadina is made with lard too
@@Tom1573realistyes lard y.ou.. d. Um. F.k.
Ahh yummy ✨️✨️✨️
Awesome
Thanku😊
Such a nice videos the only thing I wish it had written name so I would know what it is, pictures are very good too.
Hack: I learnt as a food school before, and the best combo which everyone agreed with which had that extremely glorious salty taste.
Combo: put cilantros in a bowl, add salt and adjust to taste, mix together, add virgin olive oil, mix together
Yeah that’s it then just pour it over the tortillas idk why but specifically cilantros
I followed the Imperial measurements, and noticed the dough was too dry. The metric measurements below have half as much water as flour (150 grams water, 300 grams flour), but the Imperial has about 4 times as much flour to water (1/2 cup water to 2 cups flour). I think there's a mistake with the Imperial measurements? Anyway I added more water and the flatbreat turned out delicious. Thank you for the video! I also looked it up on a conversion calculator online, and apparently 300 grams flour = 1 and 1/4 C flour, NOT 2 cups.
I love it with smoked salmon and lots of rocola and then a baba zatziki sauce yummy
Simple, beautiful and tasty
Awesome so simple , i just subscribed!

Didn't know Italians had flat bread. Only have heard of tortillas and Indian roti. Same recipe for Indian Roti!
Italian cuisine has everything❤
We have different kinds of flat bread, not just the piadina, in my region (Sardinia) we have "spianata sarda" and flat bread made with potatoes.
Ayeeee ROTI ❤❤❤
Sorry did I miss something

Indian roti is made in a similar manner.
i just wanna eat the bread itself
Its good but the dough comes out a bit uncooked no matter how thin i make it ...what should i do
Mexican tortillas are originally made with lard but now many make them with vegetable shortening, oil or butter.
This isn’t a Mexican tortilla lol
Yea but this isn't a tortilla
@@franksindoneii5410it actually is, the Italian cuisine is fundamentally based on ingredients that aren’t originally native to Europe. This is a tortilla, through and through. Just renamed something differently after the Italians “Discovered” it.
@@cl312 completely incorrect. I am from Italia. Stop speaking for my country. Mexican food is absolute diarrhea cuisine .
@@cl312when you don't know anything but you answer anyway 😁 flat bread is the most ancient kind of bread, it was invented by the first farmers in Neolithic time (before the discovery of America 😉) in Italy you can find a lot of kinds of flat bread not just the piadina that originally is made with lard.
Can you use almond or walnut flour not white flour?
Provo stasera...

What does resting for 15-30 minutes do?

Flat bread is common in middle east and india
❤❤❤❤❤❤
I adore all of your recipes ! Could you make a gluten free bread ?
I think you could follow this recipe but switch wheat flour for oat flour, or other gluten free flours like lentils, corn and chickpeas
Do you put any oil in the frying pan?
😋❤️
Do u have gluten free flatbread and bread recipes
Can just add baking powder to this?
Flour tortillas
would the dough be ok to mix in a mixer with dough hook? I don't have much room to knead :(
You have to put lard instead of olive oil in the original recipe of the piadina romagnola.
This we indian called roti
Ok. Please make a video on how to rolling pin into a ROUND shape? Help!!
It can also be called indian roti
no, the taste is different. it is similar but there are many differences. almost every country has their variation of flatbread, and this is the north-italian version.
@@karijonsdottir4644nah it's definitely roti. Italians were merchant they even use noodles for pasta.

my dough is hard as a rock. You need 340lbs bench press just to knead it.
You probably didn't put enough water and oil into the mixture.
The recipe please
Where the recipient I wanna try it in Fr 😮
Plant based cheese? This guy is for sure light in his loafers
An Italian tortilla
Almost like chapathi
Yes!!
Mexico wants their tortillas back.
Terlihat mentah
Sorry, my olive oil isn't a virgin any more.

can you make it without flatting it?
No baking powder or soda ?
Unleavened bread means it does not contain any rising agents. 😊❤
👍
Do you use double 0 flour or regular all purpose flour
Where are the measurements... how much flour, water and oil?
can i use all purpose flour instead of flour?
Hi where is the recipe pleas . thanks
‼️‼️Good News‼️‼️
The gospel, the good news is salvation from hell. And here’s how to get it, the Bible makes it as clear as can be. “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved”, acts 16:31. Words from your mouth don’t even need to be accompanied, just “believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved” from hell, it’s this easy!!
What kind of Began melting cheese???? Please tel!!!
All purpose flour or pizza flour?
I can't see the recipe 😢
