I have M1 Macbook Pro, iPhone 13 Pro Max, AirPods Pro 2, Apple Watch Ultra 2 and iPad Mini 6 with Apple Pencil. I still have a Windows PC for gaming, but I do everything on my Apple Products. I can't believe switching over to Apple took me this long. Been using Apple products for about 3 years, starting with the phone and then the MacBook. Never looking back.
Damn, i got nearly the same set up. M1 Macbook Air, iPhone 13 Pro Max, Airpods pro 2, Apple watch 6, iPad pro 2020 with apple pencil. 😂 I’ve been thinking of selling some of these and going android, but the ecosystem just won’t let me.
Currently, mine is M1 Pro 14”, Ultra Watch, M4 13” iPad Pro with MKB, iPhone 14 Pro Max, AirPod Max and Pro 2, Vision Pro, Apple TV 4K, M2 Pro Mini, and a bunch of older devices since I’ve been an Apple fanboy before iPhones were even announced.
Kinda same here as a content creator you don’t need that extra ecosystem such as an iPad mini. My list of ecosystem; - iPhone 15 Pro - Airpods Pro 2 - M1 14’ Macbook Pro - Apple watch Series 8

For the last decade I haven’t had a PC or laptop (don’t do anything that requires one). I’ve been using only a smartphone and tablet. For the last 7 years it’s been iPhones and iPads. My current iPad Air 5 works great. Depending on what new iPads Apple shows at the upcoming event I might upgrade.
I can see why someone with an M1 Air might be tempted to upgrade to M3, but not for M1 Pro. Mine still works as great as it did the first day and i can't imagine the M3 being much better.
Fwiw, to answer a question you asked more rhetorically than anything, I charge my watch in the evening before bed in the couple of hours I'm in the house winding down. Tracks overnight and goes all the way to the next evening- rinse, repeat.
I have the Apple Watch Ultra, m3 MacBook Pro, iPad m4 pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max, and the Beats Studio headphones. With how much things are starting to become more and more digital it feels good to have an ecosystem with reliable powerful technology.
I have the M1 MacBook Air, iPhone 13, AirPods Pro 2, Apple Watch SE and the IPad Air and I think for a student or someone who doesn’t need everything, this is perfect
I have a strange Apple eco system… M2 MacBook Air, iPhone 14 Pro, iPhone 12, Apple Watch Ultra, AirPods Pro 2, Air Pods Max, iPad Pro M1, iPad Mini 6, Apple Pencil 2
In addition to the usb c port you’ll be missing on the 14 pro, you also miss the new apple ai. It’s only going to be available on newer apple silicons with 8 gb ram
I’ve been gradual with my eco system approach, been using the iPhones for a while and currently I have a 15, I also use the beats fit pro and carry around an iPad Pro m1 when I travel. I have a decent monitor at home so the next purchase is a Mac mini and I should be good with that.
This was the video I needed! I wanted to buy the M1 Pro MacBook Pro because I am going to study design in college. The price of the laptop from the time it was first introduced is absolutely shocking!!
I have an iPhone 14 Pro, iPad Pro M2, Watch Ultra OG, 2019 MacBook Pro and AirPods Pro 2 Gen Type C. Took me a year to get this setup, but its amazing!!!
I have a Mac Mini M1, a 2018 iPad Pro 12.9 inch, a 6th gen Mac Mini (used more than my iPad Pro and probably my most used Apple product other than my Apple Watch), iPhone 13 Pro Max, Apple Watch 8. No need for a Macbook other than to use a Macbook as a Mac Mini replacement. However, best for me, an artist, is if the iPad Pro 14 inch with M4 would come out with MacOS/iPad OS hybrid. I realize this would cut into Macbook sales but it makes a lot of sense since Apple would sell a lot more iPad Pros and that is the direction the industry is going in the long run.
My ecosystem consists of an iPhone 12, XR, first generation SE, iPad seventh generation and Air 2, 2017 MacBook Air, Apple Watch series 7 and I also have an Apple Watch SE but I don't use it anymore, AirPods Pro 2, two HomePods mini in a stereo pair in my bedroom, AirTags, and Apple home accessories. Even with all of the stuff, if it weren't for iMessage and FaceTime, I could and actually may have left for windows/android, Samsung and Honor both cooked up some fantastic ecosystems and KDE Connect is an amazing tool that would allow me to make a pretty good ecosystem along with some other apps. The only thing I would really miss is AirPods auto switching, but of course if I went to one of the prebuilt android/Windows ecosystems instead of getting the ecosystem from various different brands and then manually linking it all together I think I would be able to get that.
I just bought an Amazon refurbished M1 Pro MBP 14" last week and its been phenominal so far! It was in stellar condition with only 44 cycles on the battery. Definitely worth it for $1,200 over the macbook air if the weight isnt an issue.
My ecosystem is a M2 MacBook Air, iPhone 15, Apple Watch SE 1, iPad Mini 6, AirPods Pro 2, and AirPod Maxes. Super Duper flawless. Wish my MacBook had more storage though.
I have the MacBook Air 2020 , just got the iPad Pro 2018 12.9 inch , and still have my iPhone 13pro max and Apple Watch Series 7, love this ecosystem and hoping these gadgets last me for a few more years…
Upgrading everything October 2021(watch was a few months ago due to breaking my series 7), and don’t plan on upgrading anytime soon, because they all still work well: iPhone 13 Pro Max 128GB Sierra Blue, 11” M1 iPad Pro, Pencil 2nd Gen, 13” M1 MacBook Pro, 45mm SE2 WATCH (cellular version), AirPod Pro 1st Gen
My current ecosystem: -iPhone 15 Pro Max -Apple Watch Series 8(steel) -Airpods Pro 2 -iPad Air 6 -Macbook Air M1 -Apple TV HD & 4k -Apple Air Tags -Apple keyboard & mouse -Homepod mini (soon) If the jail is comfortable why move to an uncomfortable apartment? 🤷🏻♂️
M2 air, 15 pro (carrier deal wasn't nearly as expensive as it should've been 🙌🏻), SE2 watch, iPad 10th gen (my mistake should've gone the air route). But overall this system works amazingly for me as a student and note taking machine. Big fan overall, super light to carry and does everything I need 👏🏻
I have the iPhone 15 plus, iPhone SE gen 1, iPhone 5s,iPhone 6, iPhone 6splus, iPhone 7 Plus, iPhone 12 mini,iPhone 13 pro max, 2 Apple Watch 2 gens, Apple Watch 3 gen, iPad 10 gen,iPad 4 gen, MacBook 2015, 2 AirPods 1 gen, AirPod 3 gen, and a Apple TV. I’m so grateful. But,I still want to get the IMac,AirPod max, 2 HomePods, and a new Apple Watch 9 or ultra
Great video bro. I would do the following. Everything is purchasable on Amazon Ipad pro 2018 $400 M1 Mac mini $390 Apple watch SE $130 Iphone 15 $750 Airpods pro $146 That puts us at a grand total of $1,816 before taxes and shipping and handling and we have the added benefit of having everything with USB type-c. Everything will get the latest software updates and everything is good for at least the next 5 to 7 years. Also, I went ahead and upgraded the storage on everything to 256 GB so that's more than enough storage for daily activities. The only thing I couldn't squeeze in there was the m1 MacBook Air but when the price goes down on that you can grab that as well. Anyway, keep up the great work. Have a good one and I'll catch you on the next one.
My personal ecosystem is: iPhone 15 Pro Max (256gb Storage) 14” MacBook Pro M3 Pro (16gb RAM 1tb Storage) 11” iPad Pro M1 (256gb Storage) AirPods Pro Sony WH1000-XM4s Logitech MX Master 3s JerryrigEverything knife LTT Backpack You really don’t need this much if you’re a normal person, but this is my setup.
Right now my ideal build is: MBP: M3 pro for computer science and fullStack programming (which means I'm cool) iPad Pro: 2021 4th/5th gen iPad Pro with pencil and maybe magic keyboard(art, notes, 3d physics simulation stuff...) Watch: 5th or 6th gen 44mm AirPods: Pro 2 or AirPods Max 2 (or whatever name they call it) iPhone: 15/15 Pro (USBC and I need to have my phone last more than 4 hours of listening to music and calling people) My actual setup: Macbook Pro: M3 Pro iPad: 8th gen + Apple Pencil + Smart Keyboard AirPods: 3rd gen iPhone: 12 mini
My Eco... Base M1 Mini (nice 43" 4k TV as monitor), iPad Air 5 (M1) with a brydge-branded keyboard/case, iPhone 11, Apple Watch SE2 and AirPod Pros. It will be very easy to slot in a new device and will make me Uncle Hero as I pass on the hand-me-downs.
Even though I got my iPad Air 5 recently, I had almost the same devices except iPhone(i have 13pro) I can 100% agree with you. This list is perfect! I’m grateful 🙏
I purchased my first apple laptop last year at Costco. It was the M2 air for $1200. As a windows user, I couldn’t quite get use to the backwards top bar. I have been using IPhones and iPads for the last 10 years, along with windows laptop and desk tops. I just didn’t like that apple laptop. I finally traded that laptop in for a new iPhone 15 for my wife at an Apple Store... I picked up a laptop I7, 16 gigs ram and a terabyte drive for under $700. That’s my ecosystem.
Thanks for the video. I've got an iPhone 13 from work. I bought a base model M1 Mac mini to complement it. This is all the Apple ecosystem that I want.
M1 MacBook Pro 13" 1TB&16GB / iMac 21.5 2019 1.5TB&32GB / iPhone 14 Pro / Apple Watch SE / AirPods Pro / iPad mini 6 Cellular & Apple Pencil. Best setup, smashes every work I could think off, only one nice adjustment is missing and that's a larger monitor as a main display for my iMac. Then I'm done.
I agree with you Gary definitely my motto is only buy what you can afford cash, maybe try to shoot for the previous gen or two. My Apple ecosystem is a 2015 mbp, apple watch 8, AirPods gen 2, iphone se 2022, iPad mini 5, id definitely recommend an ipad of some sort for the double screen function on a macbook. All these devices fit my needs, nothing more. Im definatly due for an upgrade on my macbook so im looking at an 2019/2020 mbp with the 15.4 or 16 inch screen with an i7 or i9, 16 or 32gb ram.
Look into Open Core Legacy Patcher. You can upgrade your IOS to Sonoma, which will give you all the newer features like screen mirroring and using your phone for the webcam. I’d also look at buying a M1 MacBook Air if I were you. I bought my Air for $350 or so. I have an M1 Pro and an Air, plus a 12’ MacBook 2017. The Air is extremely powerful and amazingly versatile because it’s so thin.
I am a mixed bag, lol. I have a Macbook Pro m1 13 inch, iPhone 14, windows gaming pc, and a Fold 5. I've never found watches too useful for my lifestyle, and my Fold 5 serves as a tablet when I need it. I will always be a windows/android guy first, but Apple has been making some enticing stuff lately.
I tried to build my Apple ecosystem with each model in mind but some of it weren't available in the market anymore. At least not in a "brand-new-straight-from-authorized-dealership" standpoint. I want everything brand new from authorized shops. So here are what I already have and the reasons why I got them. ✅Iphone 14 Pro Max 1TB (I needed 1TB because I always use this 80% daily) ✅Apple Watch SE 2(I just needed the watch to notify me whatever in in my iPhone while the phone is in my pocket) ✅AirPods Pro 2(I needed the case with hook on it to wear around my neck) ✅MacBook Pro 14in M3 Pro 18gb/512GB(I was looking for MBP 14in M1 Pro but it wasn't available in the authorized sellers anymore) ✅Magic Keyboard 60%(To lessen the oil stains on my MBP keys) ✅Magic Mouse 2(To lessen the oil stains on my MBP touchpad) ❌iMac Mini M2(Still looking into other options) With that said, I am simultaneously building my ROG ecosystem as a secondary setup. Thank you for the information.
Great video! Something I'd watch again! I would splurge on the Ultra; Apple knocked it out of the park when it first came out. You can even go back to the M1 MacBook and still be satisfied. Depending on what you do with your phone, the 13 pro max is one you can go all day long with (as long as you aren't worried about future updates). I'm really hoping they announce the next iteration of the iPad mini. I'm hoping for an updated processor, updated screen (amazing if OLED but doubt it), NFC, keeping the TouchID, and bigger memory sizes (make 128GB the base!!).
My apple ecosystem 1. iphone 12 pro max. Will he the 16 pro max if it’s worth it. 2. Apple watch series 7 3. mac book air M1 my machine for DJing 4. ipad 11inch M1 with magic keyboard my entertainment machine 5. apple tv 4ks 2022 and 2017 6 airpods pro’s 2s. 7 air tags 8 homepods minis for sound to my living room apple tv 4k 9 airpods max. i love them and use them every now and again at night for movies. my apple ecosystem is so lovely. and i can’t see myself leaving for now. although the phones gotta get better. i’m very satisfied with all my apple products 😊
I want to upgrade my ecosistem but in a few months now i have and IPad Air 5 with Apple Pencil 1, 2 , USB and an Smart Folio Keyboard ,IPhone 13 256 GB,Apple Watch se 2 Lte, AirPods 3 Magsafe and 2 HomePod Mini
Ok, reality check. The 14" MBP is NOT heavy. The 16" MBP is. I went from a 16 to a 14 and the 14 feels like a feather! And I'm an aging boomer. Of course my generation was way tougher! 😜 Thanks Gary, always enjoy your content!
same way u made the comparison of the 16 to 14 and make the 14 seem light. u can make the same comparison of the 14 to the air. its literally night and day difference.
@@bisho9243 No doubt, but everything comes with trade offs. Speakers, screen, ports, fans were worth the additional .8 lb's for me. And the size works way better, for me, then the 16".
I completely respect your perspective. I have a 14’ M1 Pro. I also have an M1 Air and an 12’ MacBook 2017, plus an iPad Air 5. The MacBook Pro is heavier than all of my computers and my iPad when it’s in a bag. It’s a huge difference. The Pro feels ridiculously heavy compared to everything else. Before the Pro, I had a Surface Pro, which was basically like a notebook.
iPhone 15 Pro 256GB Apple Watch Ultra 2 M2 MacBook Air in Midnight iPad 10th gen with Smart Folio and Apple Pencil USB-C Powerbeats Pro in Navy I was able to keep this under $2,000 through trade in of old devices at apple and through deals and incentives from my cell carrier. Hands down, I feel that if you’re willing to go all in, Apple’s ecosystem is the easiest to use and is the most convenient, albeit a bit pricier.
I charge my watch when i go have a shower and then put it on before bed. Its almost always charged up to 100% by then. I don't think many wear it into the shower.. though I could be wrong lol!
My personal ecosystem (since I see people sharing theirs) is an m1 MacBook Air 256 gig model. Refurbished Apple Watch series six. A refurbished iPad Air 2. IPhone 14 pro (also refurbished) and AirPods Pro 2 with the og AirPods as backups. It took a long time to get this setup and as I go things change but everything fits perfectly like puzzle pieces.
So I have an iPad Air 2 and I use it a lot but that's only because I like collecting Apple products. Why do you use an Air 2 instead of a newer iPad that can support a newer version of iPadOS?
I've been using a sub $100 chromebook for years. All I do on a computer is surf the internet and watch UA-cam. Love chromebooks, cheap and snappy for what I used it for.
Why not buy an iPad of the size & newness you want. The regular iPad (not the air) has a very nice screen for viewing. Buy the newest for the longest support should you want. Apple sells refurbished for 10% off with a full year warranty just like new. Amazon can often have refurbished but with different or no warranty. iPad is lighter than a MacBook, a cover will protect & offer ability to prop up.
M3 Pro 14in (I know an Apple employee so I didn't overspend too bad) Airpods Pro 2 iPhone 14 PM (Waiting to see what they cook up with the 16) 3rd gen iPad Pro 11in I was using the iPad as an *almost MacBook* until I got the M3 Pro. Now that I've got a decent sized screen for portability I'm really considering dumping it for an iPad mini. I'd rather have something comfortable in one hand but big enough to read. Just can't excuse 60hz in 2024. And as far as the wearables. I see it. I tried, not an Apple Watch, but a smart watch for a while and found I really only used it to check the time. I got a Casio for that. The calculator is a conversation piece.
I have the iPhone 11 (looking to upgrade) iPad 10th gen, Apple pencil usb-c, MacBook Air M2 13 inch and air pods pros 2. I wanna get the watch and a home pod next
I bought an M1 MacBook Pro 14’ for $1080. I bought an M1 MacBook Air for $320. I bought an M1 iPad Air for $300. I have an iPhone 12 Pro. I have a MacBook 12’ 2017 with Sonoma, paid $160 for that. I have an Apple Watch Series 7 and an SE 2, and paid $275 for both of them. I have AirPod Pros 1 and AirPods Gen 3, which I paid about $300 for both. I’m roughly at about $2,500 plus my iPhone (which I’ve had since it was new, so I feel like I’m about even on it now). I have a computer for our production work (I have a podcast). I have an office computer for my company, (I own a behavioral educational company for youth). I have a travel computer, I don’t have to take my larger computers with me while I’m traveling. I have two Apple Watches and two pair of AirPods. I feel like this is a good value. I buy everything used, so I can save money. Apple products have gotten so good, you don’t need the newest models. My phone is even still good. All of this for about the cost of a new MacBook Pro, and I don’t think an M3 would be that much of a difference.
Imac M1, Apple Watch SE 2.gen, iPhone 15 and AirPods pro 2.gen.. Imac and Apple Watch fund it refurbd, but had not been open: apple watch 215.- usd, the iMac 1000.- usd, and that's the one with touch-id and so on...a total of 2176.- US dollars:) and uhh that iMac:)
These are pretty good recommendations but what about someone who doesn’t have $2000? I’d be interested in seeing a video where you can be in the Apple ecosystem for even less but still feel like you have relatively up-to-date devices. Do you know what I mean? I mean sure you could get an iPhone SE for like 300 bucks but that’s not going to cut it for most people. So not like the absolute cheapest you can be in the ecosystem but the cheapest you can be in the ecosystem and still feel like nothing you have is obsolete.
I got caught in the hype of the MacBook Pro max, pretty much maxed out, it’s only marginally better for 90% if what I do than a m1 air, iPhone 11 max pro works well still and 4 series watch I’ve lost to many AirPods that I’ve gone wired again
MBP 14 - check. iPhone 14 - check. Apple watch - check. iPad mini - check. AirPods - nope, my old ears can't take full advantage of them. Summary - I'm definitely in the walled garden.
I got MacBook Air M1 I pad air M1 iPhone 15 pro and AirPods Pro 2..everything still works great for me I was thinking of updating my MacBook Air but I’m holding out to see how the new iPads are. Oh and Apple Watch series 8
Here’s my ecosystem: iPhone 15 Pro Max 512GB OG Apple Watch Ultra M1 MacBook Air 16GB/256GB of RAM M1 iPad Air 256GB Cellular AirPods Pro 2 No need to upgrade from any of these.
For the Apple Watch SE 2 questions how charge and use it when they sleep too I just took mine of when I wake up and put it on the charge when take it on when I leave and again when I come home I may put it on the charger for a little while
I would swap out the M3 Air with the M1 Air, and opt for the Watch series 7 or newer, primarely because of that Always-on-Display. A smartwatch absolutely needs to have an AoD in my opinion. And that 15 inch MBA costs about twice as much as an M1 for not that much more performance.
Some of had to use Windows. Then we played with IOS. I liked my iMac but never sat down to actually‘understand how powerful Apple products were. So I returned to windows. Now with AI I was way ahead wanting to build my new Apple ecosystem because I wanted to return to Apple. That was before WWDC24. Then the Apple AI dropped and I’m solidly back.
Apple products are slightly overpriced in my country mainly because of import duties and govt taxes, like a 1100$ iphone costs around 145000 INR that is around 1700USD.. but I love apple products & they work perfectly for me and over the years I've built my ecosystem that consists: iPhone 15 Pro Max 256gb Macbook Pro M2 Pro 14' with 16gb ram and 1 TB SSD iPad Pro 11' 2020 128gb Apple watch series 7 Airpods Pro and Pro 2
I have a M1 MacBook Pro, iPhone 13 Mini, Airpods Pro 2 and an iPad Air M1 (2022). I use it pretty much for all my work as a student and the work I do besides school. Also I do have a big Windows PC but I only really use that for entertainment and games. (For other projects I had I sometimes needed a Windows, so I also do have a Surface Studio 2, but for its price, also with pen, i really do not recommend ts)
@@Techlifeandmore Idk, prolly just bc I wanted a pro phone, I like it new, had the mini already almost 3 years. The mini was fine honestly I can definitely recommend tho
Man, I want you to know that I started a UA-cam channel and I am trying my hardest to be as good as you are with my videos! Keep it up and I will keep watching everytime!
Do you really think the M1 MacBook Pro is worth the price difference of the M1 MacBook Air right now? $700 brand new for a M1 MacBook Air is still a lot cheaper, and I think it’s an amazing computer. I just got it to complete my Apple ecosystem: iPhone 15 Pro Max Apple Watch 7 45 mm AirPods Pro 1st gen iPad Air 5 w Apple Pencil M1 MacBook Air And can’t forget my Apple TV that I love so much!
My ecosystem is: 13 pro max iPad Pro 11 M2 iPad mini 6 MacBook Air M2 Apple Watch Series 7 AirPods Max AirPods Pro 2nd gen HomePod HomePod mini Apple TV 4K 3rd gen
I would probably trade in the air pods and the watch for an ipad air with a pencil. That would significantly increase the budget, though. I do not like ANC and I am not used to wearing a watch, I really do not care about my heart rate or how much steps I have walked that day and while training I have to take it of anyways. So... yeah... These two things have to go.
I have a 12 pro and Ipad 9th gen. Might get an apple watch, although I don't need a apple watch to be healthy. Having to charge it every day would get annoying.
i do have Macbook 2022 M2 , iPhone 15 Pro ,iPad Mini 6 and classic 7th gen and Apple Watch series 9 BUT i go for Anker in headphones but anyway prices are doubled in my country due to taxes :( (Turkey)

M1 Macbook Air, iPhone 13 Pro Max, Airpods pro 2, Apple watch 6, iPad pro 2020 with apple pencil. 😂
I’ve been thinking of selling some of these and going android, but the ecosystem just won’t let me.
i got a iphone 14 pro max, apple watch series 6, ipad 6 with apple pencil, and macbook pro mid 2015
If I didn't build PCs as a hobby, I would definitely buy a desktop mac, and specially now that MacOS is actually getting games now.

Still love my M1 MacBook Pro 14 after a couple of years. Totally agree at price now it’s a great laptop.
I can see why someone with an M1 Air might be tempted to upgrade to M3, but not for M1 Pro. Mine still works as great as it did the first day and i can't imagine the M3 being much better.

Definitely worth it for $1,200 over the macbook air if the weight isnt an issue.
iPhone 13 IPad 10th gen Apple Watch SE 2 AirPods 2nd gen Mac Mini Monitor/Wired Keyboard and mouse Total cost (All new) £1835
I just picked up the 15" MacBook Air, this thing is good.
My current ecosystem:
-iPhone 15 Pro Max
-Apple Watch Series 8(steel)
-Airpods Pro 2
-iPad Air 6
-Macbook Air M1
-Apple TV HD & 4k
-Apple Air Tags
-Apple keyboard & mouse
-Homepod mini (soon)
If the jail is comfortable why move to an uncomfortable apartment?
The video length is perfect
Everything is purchasable on Amazon
Ipad pro 2018 $400
M1 Mac mini $390
Apple watch SE $130
Iphone 15 $750
Airpods pro $146
That puts us at a grand total of $1,816 before taxes and shipping and handling and we have the added benefit of having everything with USB type-c.
My personal ecosystem is:
iPhone 15 Pro Max (256gb Storage)
14” MacBook Pro M3 Pro (16gb RAM 1tb Storage)
11” iPad Pro M1 (256gb Storage)
AirPods Pro
Sony WH1000-XM4s
Logitech MX Master 3s
JerryrigEverything knife
LTT Backpack
You really don’t need this much if you’re a normal person, but this is my setup.
I would change the Apple Watch SE2 to a Series 7 renewed/refurbished - it’s the best value on smartwatches atm
Right now my ideal build is:
MBP: M3 pro for computer science and fullStack programming (which means I'm cool)
iPad Pro: 2021 4th/5th gen iPad Pro with pencil and maybe magic keyboard(art, notes, 3d physics simulation stuff...)
Watch: 5th or 6th gen 44mm
AirPods: Pro 2 or AirPods Max 2 (or whatever name they call it)
iPhone: 15/15 Pro (USBC and I need to have my phone last more than 4 hours of listening to music and calling people)
My actual setup:
Macbook Pro: M3 Pro
iPad: 8th gen + Apple Pencil + Smart Keyboard
AirPods: 3rd gen
iPhone: 12 mini
Maturing is realizing that starlight is the best MacBook Air color
So true...
Imo starlight is a mature silver ❤ ive been enjoying my midnight macbook as well 😅
But silver is the best though, it looks so clean. Starlight is pretty too but imo silver is the best
@@joshuepico75I personally prefer midnight, anything but space gray
Nah, silver is the cleanest
How I track sleep: Having two Apple Watches. A primary watch during the day and an older auxiliary model at night.
I have an iPhone 15 pro max ,MacBook air m2 15 inch 2023 ,AirPods pro 2 and iPad Air 5th generation it’s so damn good
I purchased my first apple laptop last year at Costco.
I would recommend M1 Pro 14, iphone 13 Pro, airpods pro 2. Watch not recommended but i would choose series 7 or 6 in stainless steel.
m1 pro 14 inch is awesome. Recently got used one with 10 core/32gb/1tb for 1300, and it's great. I love screen and speakers on this thing.
Low key kinda surprised you abandoned the M1 Macbook Air finally. Good vid as usual, sir!
Thanks for the video. I've got an iPhone 13 from work. I bought a base model M1 Mac mini to complement it. This is all the Apple ecosystem that I want.
As a creator gear nerd I love seeing you use the Zoom H6 this way. It sounds great and looks cool to a fan of the process of creating video.
Hey please make a video about the best chargers & cables for MacBook, iPhones and best power banks too
I agree with you Gary definitely my motto is only buy what you can afford cash, maybe try to shoot for the previous gen or two.
✅Iphone 14 Pro Max 1TB (I needed 1TB because I always use this 80% daily)
✅Apple Watch SE 2(I just needed the watch to notify me whatever in in my iPhone while the phone is in my pocket)
✅AirPods Pro 2(I needed the case with hook on it to wear around my neck)
✅MacBook Pro 14in M3 Pro 18gb/512GB(I was looking for MBP 14in M1 Pro but it wasn't available in the authorized sellers anymore)
✅Magic Keyboard 60%(To lessen the oil stains on my MBP keys)
✅Magic Mouse 2(To lessen the oil stains on my MBP touchpad)
❌iMac Mini M2(Still looking into other options)
With that said, I am simultaneously building my ROG ecosystem as a secondary setup.
I have the iPhone 14 Pro, 14 inch MacBook Pro M1, AirPods Pro 2, and Apple Watch 8
My apple ecosystem
1. iphone 12 pro max. Will he the 16 pro max if it’s worth it.
2. Apple watch series 7
3. mac book air M1 my machine for DJing
4. ipad 11inch M1 with magic keyboard my entertainment machine
5. apple tv 4ks 2022 and 2017
6 airpods pro’s 2s.
7 air tags
8 homepods minis for sound to my living room apple tv 4k
9 airpods max. i love them and use them every now and again at night for movies.
my apple ecosystem is so lovely. and i can’t see myself leaving for now. although the phones gotta get better. i’m very satisfied with all my apple products 😊
M2 Mackbook air 13”
iPhone 14 pro
iPad Air 5th gen
Apple Pencil 2
AirPods gen 2
My ecosystem is so good and didn’t break the bank
I want to upgrade my ecosistem but in a few months now i have and IPad Air 5 with Apple Pencil 1, 2 , USB and an Smart Folio Keyboard ,IPhone 13 256 GB,Apple Watch se 2 Lte, AirPods 3 Magsafe and 2 HomePod Mini
89k unread email is giving me anxiety. 😂
Ok, reality check. The 14" MBP is NOT heavy. The 16" MBP is. I went from a 16 to a 14 and the 14 feels like a feather! And I'm an aging boomer. Of course my generation was way tougher! 😜 Thanks Gary, always enjoy your content!
14 is a brick bro. I went back to my Galaxy Book cause of it.
@@banderson1979 I am happy for you, but you’re wrong.
same way u made the comparison of the 16 to 14 and make the 14 seem light. u can make the same comparison of the 14 to the air. its literally night and day difference.
Before the Pro, I had a Surface Pro, which was basically like a notebook.
iPhone 15 Pro 256GB
Apple Watch Ultra 2
M2 MacBook Air in Midnight
iPad 10th gen with Smart Folio and Apple Pencil USB-C
Powerbeats Pro in Navy
I was able to keep this under $2,000 through trade in of old devices at apple and through deals and incentives from my cell carrier.
Could you tell me how is the condition of the refurbished ones??
So I have an iPad Air 2 and I use it a lot but that's only because I like collecting Apple products. Why do you use an Air 2 instead of a newer iPad that can support a newer version of iPadOS?
@@FaRaHChannel22 pretty good got a 14 pro refernished and it was great.
I’m thinking about going iPhone only. I have a Mac and an iPad already but I don’t do any work on the computer so I just want to simplify
I've been using a sub $100 chromebook for years. All I do on a computer is surf the internet and watch UA-cam. Love chromebooks, cheap and snappy for what I used it for.
Why is there a Nintendo DS on the thumbnail
That's what I'm asking XD
Which MacBook should I go for ? My use is only UA-cam and media consumption that’s all
Why not buy an iPad of the size & newness you want.
M1 macbook pro is a great device, it won the 2022 laptop awards in Paris
M3 Pro 14in (I know an Apple employee so I didn't overspend too bad)
Airpods Pro 2
iPhone 14 PM (Waiting to see what they cook up with the 16)
3rd gen iPad Pro 11in
I was using the iPad as an *almost MacBook* until I got the M3 Pro.
I charge my watch at 7pm, it’s charged and ready to track sleep by bedtime. Easy
Mbp m3, iPhone 15 pro Max Apple Watch Ultra gen 1, I pad mini and all of the AirPod honestly……… giant wall for me as well
I bought an M1 MacBook Pro 14’ for $1080.
Imac and Apple Watch fund it refurbd, but had not been open:
apple watch 215.- usd, the iMac 1000.- usd, and that's the one with touch-id and so on...a total of 2176.- US dollars:) and uhh that iMac:)
So not like the absolute cheapest you can be in the ecosystem but the cheapest you can be in the ecosystem and still feel like nothing you have is obsolete.
thanks for the video
Here’s my ecosystem:
iPhone 15 Pro Max 512GB
OG Apple Watch Ultra
M1 MacBook Air 16GB/256GB of RAM
M1 iPad Air 256GB Cellular
AirPods Pro 2
No need to upgrade from any of these.
i have the m1 pro 14 . it's the best piece of tech ever !!
This makes me happy about purchase of the m1 pro mbp last week
For the Apple Watch SE 2 questions how charge and use it when they sleep too I just took mine of when I wake up and put it on the charge when take it on when I leave and again when I come home I may put it on the charger for a little while
I would swap out the M3 Air with the M1 Air, and opt for the Watch series 7 or newer, primarely because of that Always-on-Display. A smartwatch absolutely needs to have an AoD in my opinion. And that 15 inch MBA costs about twice as much as an M1 for not that much more performance.
Thank you for sharing and your honest experience
Some of had to use Windows. Then we played with IOS. I liked my iMac but never sat down to actually‘understand how powerful Apple products were. So I returned to windows. Now with AI I was way ahead wanting to build my new Apple ecosystem because I wanted to return to Apple. That was before WWDC24. Then the Apple AI dropped and I’m solidly back.
Apple products are slightly overpriced in my country mainly because of import duties and govt taxes, like a 1100$ iphone costs around 145000 INR that is around 1700USD.. but I love apple products & they work perfectly for me and over the years I've built my ecosystem that consists:
iPhone 15 Pro Max 256gb
Macbook Pro M2 Pro 14' with 16gb ram and 1 TB SSD
iPad Pro 11' 2020 128gb
Apple watch series 7
Airpods Pro and Pro 2
I have a M1 MacBook Pro, iPhone 13 Mini, Airpods Pro 2 and an iPad Air M1 (2022).
I use it pretty much for all my work as a student and the work I do besides school.
Also I do have a big Windows PC but I only really use that for entertainment and games.
(For other projects I had I sometimes needed a Windows, so I also do have a Surface Studio 2, but for its price, also with pen, i really do not recommend ts)

Do you really think the M1 MacBook Pro is worth the price difference of the M1 MacBook Air right now? $700 brand new for a M1 MacBook Air is still a lot cheaper, and I think it’s an amazing computer. I just got it to complete my Apple ecosystem:
iPhone 15 Pro Max
Apple Watch 7 45 mm
AirPods Pro 1st gen
iPad Air 5 w Apple Pencil
M1 MacBook Air
And can’t forget my Apple TV that I love so much!
Can’t wait for the new iPad Air to be revealed.
that's a cool microphone!!

is the macbook m1 pro renewed on amazon like trustable?

iPad Pro 11 M2
iPad mini 6
MacBook Air M2
Apple Watch Series 7
AirPods Max
AirPods Pro 2nd gen
HomePod
HomePod mini
Apple TV 4K 3rd gen
