Just saw Jessica on Daily Blast Live and then found her on UA-cam. Since I have an issue with my left shoulder I was excited to see this one. I had an MRI last week. At least I don't need surgery but still need to have my shoulder recover. Problem started when I moved last June. Lifting so many boxes, etc. I am also 76 so your comment jumped out at me. I turn 77 in August.
I finally got to try this routine, oh my it'll save me from doing prison time, because I'm fuming because of my work/boss. I really thought I'd need to get a new job to save my shoulder. I already feel an immense pain relief, like I can push myself up when getting out of bed. It's just the last exercise I can't do, I don't feel pain, my body just says "nope, no can do". Ah I'm excited! Thank you so much ❤
I also have an old shoulder injury, and found this video extremely helpful, if a little challenging to do. I like the fact that it is short, so possible to fit into a busy day. Thanks!
I feel like these exercises may really improve my shoulders. Had a frozen left shoulder a few years ago and once the right started giving me trouble decided to take action. Stumbled on this video - Sore day 1, feeling improvement day 2... Thank you so much! Like you said the first exercise itself is great, but definitely better as a set.

I am one year out from major shoulder surgery. I didn’t have a rotator cuff so they built me one using my lat and a cadaver Achilles. It’s been a long slow road to recovery but this is a great addition to my recovery plan. I am new to Pilates but am loving your videos!
I have a shoulder injury at the moment. Pain all day and night at a 4-5. It was hurting before this video. I just did the video once through and I have some relief. That crazy. Thank you.
Ive had work related injuries to both shoulders and i sleep on my side which doesn't help but hinders my mobility after doing these exercises they felt great i am now doing them everyday to help heal stretch an strengthen them thank you so much Jessica.

One question: For the last exercise I always have to shift one knee/leg back a bit to do the full rotation of the arm. Fairly active 22 year old man, have done many sports, can do a backflip whenever. I tried this with her and it was challenging, but felt some relief in my shoulders. Gonna try this daily due to my shoulder issues👍
did it help? have you noticed any improvement concerning your shoulder issues? I also have shoulder pain while playing Volleyball so I'm hoping this will improve my shoulders
@@Nikman711 it has most definitely helped me. I don’t always do the full process because of my poor time management but I do at least 2-3 of them before using my shoulders for any workouts. Which is ab 4 times a week. More mobility and less pain which is what I needed. This lady is actually legit
@@Nikman711 literally relearning how to use my shoulders properly after being alive for 22 years😂 just remember that everyone’s body is different so don’t try to always move your arms as far as she can, pay attention to how she tells you to breathe when doing the motions and also make sure to lightly flex your shoulders when doing them. Not sure if she mentions this but that has helped me
@@Nikman711 btw I’ve popped my left shoulder from its socket (never fully dislocated) ab a dozen times and haven’t done it since so hopefully that continues
Thank you Jessica. I liked these exercises. Noticed these we’re expanding the range of movement. I ‘m doing these as the right shoulder has a partial tear and doing these to improve flexibility.
That'll be my morning and evening exercise for a while, I've overworked my shoulder, my osteopath already helped a lot but now I have to get those fascia moving again.
Thank you. I have such stiff shoulders as always concentrated on Legs Bum & Tum! With the 'W' exercise- do you have to stand with knees ben? Can you do it standing straight? Am struggling but will persevere if I lose a lot of the benefits.
Hi I've been diagnosed with a highly inflamed chest walll cavity, with painful shoulder and sensation in my left arm would you recommend these pilates moves?
I can't tell you how many times my chiropractor has had to adjust my stubborn right shoulder. I hope this will help those muscles and tendons be a little more resilient.

My left is weak on the last exercise so I will have to work on my left to get stronger, thank you for this 10-minute shoulder mobility exercise.

Doing these to help perform barbell squats. Form is right but shoulder area to weak to support the barbell.
Same, found this video looking for stretches for squats - shoulders are too stiff to get into the low bar position

I'm 54. 5' 10" tall and 179 lbs. I still lift weights, but my flexibility sucks. Strong as hell... not flexible. Working on it.
Squatting is unnecessary in increasing shoulder mobility. Just a thought for those unable to hold a squat.
Oh man, this very first one hurts. I feel clicking and pulling. (is this normal for people with EDS or hypermobility issues)
