I can identify Eli's voice on any tutorial. Clicked this one from the middle and instantly knew it was Eli! One of the best online educators out there right now!
Unfortunately, I was unable to hear any type of sound at the outset when I clicked the (+1) under "single trigger". It never showed a drop under "frequency" or even a single sound of any sort. I do appreciate you sharing. Im happy that the others benefited.
Did you add it as an instrument on a Midi Track? Cause if you added it under Audio Effects it won't do anything on a midi track. You need to do it as an Audio Track to add it under Audio Effects.
You said at the beginning, you start with an "instrument track". I couldn't get the oscillator to out put a sound. So, I tried "audio track" and that works, for this demo.
@@Bot-yr5gh That's happened to me many times. Create a new project and rule out it's not a project issue. It could even be an instrument issue if you're connecting an external instrument. Having ruled out those issues, check the automation and be sure you didn't inadvertently fat finger mute or volume or something. I do that alot.
What I am having trouble with is actually adding the drop to the track. I don't see any option in logic to 'trigger' it? Is there a way to just place the bass drops where you want them on the track? Very confused on this part. Thanks.

Is there a way to patch the test oscillator to another logic instrument (ex. a piano or something) to make THAT instrument do the drop?

Bounce the the midi instrument and then use the fader tool, but select "slow down" instead of volume fade. Similar effect

i have a similar issue when I try to record it doesn't get recorded like I didn't play anything.
