This tutorial makes me realize logic has all the tools .. no need to buy extra plugins till u master what u got !!

I recorded mixed and mastered my song, 'brand new', on my page, stock logic - but I'm falling in love with many plugins. Right now I like half-time and ozone.

A good plug in is made with that in mind

I studied music performance and production at university and one of my tutors said that when he first started getting into production he was so fixed on getting expensive plugins that he didn't focus on actually learning how to use them

HELL TO THE YES, THE ONLY PLUG IN I WANT IS FREE, being Vital. Hell to the yes though dude never spend money until you unlock everything! I started by taking garage band beyond its limits before getting logic

Logic has some great tools, but don't sleep on FabFilter. I always find myself using their reverb and saturation.

So clever to use the trem as an LFO man and definitely is so much simpler than trying to do either sidechain or modulation when it’s not necessary

Me from the future, sidechaining on a compressor is actually pretty simple, I just didn’t know it existed yet 😅

This is super useful thanks so much man! I have always just used an arpeggiator on basses but this way is so much better, and as you demonstrated if there is a sweeping effect over the pad or bass then that isn't lost as the note doesn't re-trigger. Really cool trick thanks a lot!

Wow. This video was super helpful. I've been trying to find a good automated solution for the stutter in Logic without drawing in the gating. Most of the time, I want it fitting into a rhythm anyway, so this was a very simple and elegant way to do just that!

I always say that Tremolo in Logic is the best! Your Tremolo looks different though and is missing the Symmetry button, which allows even more possibilies in making pulses and stuff.

gave me some cool ideas, thanks man, didn't use to use the tremolo that much. the idea i just came up with is, use tremolo to create a pluck then bounce it out, reverse it, then on the midi lower the % dry % so it's not so audible then add sidechain compression and use the one reversed i think it would give some nice movement. give it a try i will too!
