I think you can get in there without taking off the tire but it’s much easier if you remove it so that when it doesn’t come out easily, you can wiggle it out
A good scanner tells you which one is not working. They are cheap so just buy them all if you don’t have a scanner. The hardest part is to get it well lubricated with a penetrating oil so it comes out easily. You don’t want to break it ;)
Yes you must reset with a scanner that works with abs, like this one ☝️www.amazon.com/dp/B07BS7PDC2/ref=cm_sw_r_as_gl_api_gl_i_K4Y1X36AKT4NY82QQ95G?linkCode=ml1&tag=janw.vanderba-20
Going to fix the speed wheel sensor then immediately drive the VW CC Sport straight into the St Johns River. Appreciate the video ✅
Hah
Thanks for showing us where it is.
Thanks for watching! 😄
Thanks for the video! Super helpful.
I spent 30min wiggling my sensor with pliers but couldn’t get it out. Any advice there?
Spray some penetrating oil and keep wiggling it. a pair of vice grips, pull hard.
Same, nervous I’m gonna ruin the cable
I used 2 flathead screwdrivers. 1 top side and one bottom and wiggled it out reasonably easy. Hand and pliers is almost impossible.
I replaced all 4 on my 2015 vw Passat TDI and all the lights are still on any ideas ?
You probably need a scanner that can reset the lights.
Okay but do I have to remove the tire or can I get around that part?

You might if you have a hoist.
Is the cheap sensor still working?
I haven’t heard any complaints!
How do I know which sensors I need to change ?

I don't need any torx bits to do this?
Other videos I've seen say it's a torx 30 screw
After change speed sensor need to reset?
