Thank you. I had to do the right side two years ago, in Canada, in December. This time I watched this video first, didn't fight with the sensor, and had the job done in 10 minutes, using a jack.
My vw says that my air bag light is on due to the speed sensor. I assume air bags go off if you slow down really fast like when running into a tree. I'm changing mine to see if air bag light goes out.
@@motorcarnut okay thanks for response all my dash lights turn on in the morning the ABS traction control my tire pressure light and air bag light do you think this is the issue?

FWIW, the factory bolt uses a 5mm hex (Allen) head, but as shown here, a T30 will work in a pinch.
I do that too
Well done video.
Appreciate that, thank you!

Yes
Is the sensor only on one side of the car? Or does it have a sensor on each tire
Has on all four wheels

@@felixalicea9326 most probably. I would check battery voltage before tho
@felixalicea9326 No, could be a electrical problem
All those lights will come on from a bad abs sensor in vw etc same thing happened to my gti once it was replaced the lights went out
Its a hex bolt NOT a 30 Torx you can see this on camera
It’s ok, you can use both no problem.
Garbage aftermarket parts
Video is not about a particular part, it’s about the replacement of it.
