I'm learning Spanish so I really appreciate you speaking both. I also love how detailed and rigorous you were with the diagnostic process and how informatively you presented it
I haven't heard Spanglish in years!! It's amazing how you describe everything in two different languages yet everyone on can easily understand it! More importantly, great information my friend.TY
Watching a lot of repair videos to get my 'new to me' 2002 Xterra up to great running shape. I think you get the "clarity and thoroughness" award. Great video!
Nice job showing us how to use a digital multimeter to measure volts and ohms. Most people don’t have a high level scan tool like you to help diagnosis.
Hats off to you Hektor! Nice to see young mechanics 'seriously' interested in really diagnosing the root of the problem no matter what it takes 'prior' to purchasing parts vs the 'remove and replace' strategy many shops take today. Keep up the great work... honesty in diagnosing as well as the fun of actually finding the real problem is not only highly rewarding but will pay off for you in the long run.
Brilliantly done. I watched so many videos where the guy was trying to film while spinning the tire... you're the ONLY one who seemed to realize that you could DRIVE it and read the scan tool more quickly and easily than individual testing. Also, nice that you have clear footage and clear explanations. Very helpful.
That sir, was excellent. Along with learning how to check my speed sensors and not ending up just spending a ton buying parts trying to fix the problem, I also discovered that how you were doubling up your information, pairing Spanish with English, phrase by phrase, is an absolutely great way to begin really learning the language. I've tried a number of different approaches to teaching conversational Spanish and I think this way is better than all of them, at least for me. I hope you never change that format!
Thank you very much for your help in understanding how to diagnose one side compared to the other. That makes total sense to me! It worked well; I had a broken wire, my luck, it was difficult to find but I did; thanks to you I had the confidence. I’m 70 years old;just a bit of info regarding your audience!
I think this video may be the most helpful one I've seen on the speed sensors. And your presentation skills are excellent. You should be in the sales department for a major manufacturer.
What a great illustrative explanation. My truck is throwing Traction Control and ABS codes. My scanner does not tell me which is bad. I do have a Fluke 12b meter though and will go check them out. Thanks much for sharing this.
Thank you, Hector. I have not tried the repair yet but after listening to you I am feeling confident that I can handle the repair. Keep up the good work.
Very impressive my friend. I love how you were able to go from English to Spanish and still get your job done. Unlike you I cannot walk and chew gum at the same time. I've been having an issue with an ABS light if we get another warm day around here I'm going to go out and check it like you did. And if I have to wait to spring that's fine too. Thank you for providing great advice and show us step-by-step. I definitely gave you a thumbs up and hit the subscribe button also. I figured that's the least I can do after seeing how to solve this issue. I am also glad to see a young person as yourself to know how to use a voltmeter. When I was young myself most of my friends were all mechanics at dealerships. And when they started teaching me how to work on my own cars the first thing they told me to buy was a voltmeter. Now this was back in the 80s and I still have that voltmeter. I actually have five or six voltmeters. Whenever I come across a good deal I usually pick another one up. I tried to keep one and every vehicle that I own. So if something was to happen out on the road I can diagnose quicker.
Thanks for the video. Much respect for bilingual presentation. As an English only speaker I'm envious you can help more than one language speaking people. God bless.
Great diagnostic video and thrilled to hear you say "torque it down" about the tire. Too many mechanics crank the lug nuts down with the impact wrench and never bother to check the torque. Pity the owner who has to change a flat that wasn't torqued properly.
some of cases when mechanics cranks the lug nuts down with impact wrench is good enough because they know their impact wrench torque specs by its impact size.
This was a very useful video. I wouldn't have thought about checking resistance on the other wheel to compare. I'm also jealous of how you can switch between two languages so effortlessly.
Hector, I just saw your video and I learnt a little bit about the abs sensors. Thank you for taking the time to explain all this. I understood all your explanations, you made it very simple.
I've watched about a dozen videos dealing with testing and cleaning ABS sensors, and this is the one that held my attentions and explained everything in clear terms. I subscribed and plan to be back often
Check this out Homies! lol I love the transitioning between English and Spanish too bad for the ones that didn't care to learn some Spañol in school as it is the second most spoken language in the world. It's an expressive and fun language to know.
Being from Gibraltar where we swap between Spanish and English mid sentence all the time it took me a few minutes to realise you were actually doing that!!!
I have a 2016 Yukon Denali with a Shimmy.. I just got it but they delivered it to me and well, I'm obviously going to have to take it in for either tire rotation or abs issues hoping it's minor. Thankfully i got the an Extended Warranty 😃. You are extremely helpful!!!
No Bueno, Homie! Love it, keep these videos coming. Good Job, nice to see you explain the problem you found in detail and show where it actually broke. Thank you.
You really know what you are done I have to give it to you I have a 2017 Kia Sorento my life is on too I only have 5,000 miles on that truck here in Mobile Alabama
I don't have that fancy machine that tell you what we'll sensor is bad. But I do have a meter that I can use thanks to you to measure the ohms and resistance volts. Thank you Hector.
Thank you Hector! I have a 2006 Crown Vic P71 (cop car) with a ABS light for the last year. Luckily the connectors for the rear sensors are under the rear seat. I checked voltage....and then resistance...and found my problem! Thanks Brother !!! Muchas Gracias mi hermano! Que tenga un bien dia!
What up homie! Just wanted to thank you for your video. I actually learned how to finally use the multimeter y eso que i been watching un chingo de vídeos pa agararle la onda . Thanks to you and how you easily you explained it .ya soy una bestia con el pinche multimeter … ya me la van a pelar esos pinchis sensores y diagnósticos.🤝
Dude, excellent presentation. Shows you really understand simple electrical circuits and how to trouble shoot automotive system. You are very good in presenting the problem at hand and explaining the logic of how to trouble shoot for the problem area. I'll subscribe to your channel because you've shown that you know what you are talking about and I hope to see more problem solving videos and your thinking process
Great video Hector! The difference between a good mechanic and a GREAT mechanic?? A great mechanic always checks his work ! I like the bi- lingual instructions as well .!
Haha Eric O is contagious "There's your problem ladÿ!". Good informative video reminds me in the Northeast salt and time usually gives results like you found.
Pretty good video. Now i know my abs speed sensors are located in my 2001 subaru outback. My old step dad must of forgot something when he took off the old struts and put new ones on therefore my car wasnt driving right after. Had to tow it back home.
Great job and very clear instructions. Keep up the good work. I now know how to check some reasons why my light is on and do it with good reasoning skills. You are awesome Hector!!!!

Best vid on ABS sensors due to camera angles, lighting, and explaination. Great job, Homie

Make sure the battery is disconnected after you verify voltage at the plug, you can’t test resistance in a powered circuit. Great video!
This mix of Spanish and English is hilarious.
"This one goes to the left, and that one goes to the lado derecho" :) :)
Love you man!
Estan muy chidos tus vídeos .. gracias por toda esa información🤘🏽I’ll replace one of them now !! Thanks !!
