Great video! I can't wait to make the change to a battery-powered lawnmower! Don't tell my wife, but I'm hoping our gas-powered monster will die soon - LOL!
I have a Ego lawn mower. Let me tell you, I was surprised! 😮 This battery lasted for at least an hour. When you charge it make sure it's completely dead. It makes noise at the beginning but I think it's because of the power it's giving the battery. I had it for a year now, and it hasn't fail me yet.
...I'm indifferent w/my Ego 7.5Ahr (single blade). mulching is almost non-existent, even w/the high lift blade (bought separately). the standard blade WON'T cut leaves! the HL blade cuts leaves into a few pieces, but mulching still sucks compared to my Troy built gas mower. I mow on settings 4-6 for a taller lawn. if I could go back 3 years, I'd buy a $550 (top self) gas mower and use the other $100 for 7+ years of gasoline and oil (might use 2-3 gal/summer AND get a much better mulching experience. happy mowing.
hi are you using it with a lawn mower? if you are please check out our video on getting the ego lawn mowers going. Sometimes the clips come lose plus a couple of other things which will stop it from starting, If not could you tell me what you are using it with and i will try to help. My theory is that the battery appears dead because the tool does not work. Because the charger is indicating full and the battery is still young.
@@KellyandDoug using it for the self propelled lawnmower I put it on the rapid charger the light on the battery goes amber then red then nothing and the rapid charger will indicate full charge all four boxes light up Cooling fan never comes on Do you have the link to the vid? Thanks
sorry i have only just seen your message. lithium ions batteries are best left between 20 to 80 %. I sometimes run them out and fully charge them and they are still working fine. i dont think it's anything to get to stressed about
Thank you! Answered all of my questions !
Your welcome! Glad it helped!
Thank you! 🔥 You answered my question. I wanted to know if I was the only one who heard noise coming out of the charger. It's my first time.
Damn I almost return it 😂

Yeah I was about to run for cover lol
I thought something was wrong with mine, plus it smells when it’s running. I thought it was gonna blow the damn thing up.😂

@@KellyandDoug Yes it was! More videos on lawn is always good in my book! 👍👍
Thank you!!
Thank you for your thank you!
want to know how to release battery from the charger -- keep asking this and don't get to the right place.
put one hand pushing down on the charger and then use the other one to pull the battery up

it's well worth it! even discounting the environment, the noise level is so low it's worth it just for that!

I’m getting a brand new battery free
How long does the banana 🍌 take to charge? 😂
Is it better to charge a nearly dead battery or can I charge one that is 3/4 charged?
