Mayur Karthik, is the Head trainer at Sri Sri school of Yoga and an Art of Living Meditation and Yoga teacher, training under the tutelage of Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar. He is a passionate story teller, film maker and fitness enthusiast. Known to have developed six packs abs with Surya Namaskars, he endorses a combination of ancient and modern practice for fitness. He holds an engineering in Electronics and Instrumentation and Masters in Biological sciences from BITS Pilani.

Karthi bhai, how much should we challenge ourselves and match all the move, or should we take it slow and stretch as much as the body allows. Also if not able to do this in the early morning hours when is the next best time of the day
Hello ji... definitely listen to your body at the same time..keep pushing a little bit out of your comfort zone..But also keep at it and progress deeper in practice over a period of time!

I follow ur daily yoga video.
I have some difficulty in doing some asana like sleeping on mat Tommy down n stretching leg n hand straight lifting body as well as sleeping on back n lifting body straight.
Sir I m 68 years old I had gone lower spin surgery years back in my 30th year also I had fallen down from big ladder while cleaning fans n injured my leg toes fingers n spine in 2015, Doctor advised me to be on bed for 40days only half n hour I was allowed to seat out off 24hours. By God grace I m out from all this.
My question to u Mayurji should I try to stretch or not those above asana I try but have to give up.

Hi...namaste! Glad you are in the challenge...Yes you can do it at that time ... at least 3 hrs gap should be there. And you should feel light in your stomach! 🙏

I hv attended ur 14 day yoga challenge 2times. Moreover I hv purchased last time sri sri yoga premium course (3months course).This session is going to end by oct 10 and no 3stage pranayama or sudarsanakriya was taught in these days. Today In the 14days challenge u told it will be taught in the premium purchase and also I could open the e books only for one month.Why I could not access the ebooks in all these 3months
Jaigurudev ji..the ebooks are downloadable...did you download them? And in Yoga classes we do not teach Sudharshan kriya 😊

Then how can we learn sudarsan kriya
Please inform your teacher about it...they will fix it for you...Sudharshan kriya will have to be learnt seperately in a Happiness Program!
