- Padma Sadhna is a beautiful yoga sequence designed by Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar. It comprises of well balanced 12 postures, Pranayama, and Meditation. It takes around 40 to 45 minutes to practice one round of Padma Sadhana.
Padma Sadhna is an effective and deep practice that not only helps you to relax the mind and bring it to the present moment, but also energize each and every cell of our body. It also increases the Sattva in the being. Sattva is a quality of harmony, enthusiasm and positivity.
It is said, Kriya Siddhi Bhavati Sattve, Mahata Nopakarne. It means to be successful you need not only the resources and efforts but also Sattva. And doing Padma Sadhna increases the Sattva in our being. Practice at least one round of Padma Sadhana everyday and learn to master our mind and our life.

Special note for Women:
Pregnant women should not practice any twists or abdominal tightening poses and should consult with their doctor before beginning any exercise or yoga program.
During the monthly cycle women should not practice inverted poses, back bends or exercising involving vigorous movements.
While learning, asanas can be done with the eyes open in order to perfect the posters. However when you are familiar it is advised to do them with your eyes closed. This will ensure the best result and a deeper meditation.

When I did my dsn, 2 rounds of padmasadhana and I didn't need food that day

@karthikmayur sir can we do savasana after the asana sequence and before nadishodan pranayama in case we holding asanas for long time.
After the asanas..directly go into Nadishodhan Pranayama!
