Guys read this comment if u eat oats
There are three types of oats
    1. Steel Cut oats
    2. Rolled oats
    3.instant oats
The steel cut oats look like sharp and are very less processed but they are expensive and take 30min to be ready
They also have less glycium level so steel cut oats are the best one to eat
Rolled oats are middle processed means not much but not that less proccessed
They are not expensive much and take 10min to eat and have mid level glycium
Instant oats are highly processed and contain high levels of glycium they are also very cheap and take 3to 5min to make them ready i prefer eat steel cut oats or rolled oats pls share this message to everyone
    Eat healthy anf Stay safe

Chia seeds should always be used after soaking … otherwise it will absorb water from our stomach and that can lead to constipation issues …

Thank-you for the info. on soaking the chia seeds, l didn't know they should be soaked first, l've been putting in my smoothie without soaking them, it makes sense to soak first

It’s so ironic though cause chia is commonly used to reduce constipation.

    • @anubhavgoyal04
      @anubhavgoyal04 4 місяці тому

@@NathalyCampos-gj3ii he is right. Chia seeds can absorb and expand upto 28 times of their size. If not soaked and consumed. It can absorb water in your stomach and become sticky blobs, which further can block and create constipation and it is very risky too. So please avoid eating it directly and always soak them overnight for best results.

You can also chop a banana into your pan with a lil water and cinnamon, let that cook down, stirring occasionally. The bananas break down into a pudding of sorts and become a natural sweetener and flavor. You add a small amount of milk into it to make it creamer before going in with the rest of the oatmeal portions

Thank you! I make whole oats with lowfat milk on the stovetop. It's delicious, nutritious, and has a low glycemic index, so the carbs and sugars will break down slowly and keep you full for hours without a sugar spike or sugar drop. It's already sweet, but I like to add cinnamon and either berries or bananas

Proper Scottish Porridge - the original and the best - is unbelievably creamy, yet made only with water. The best oats are stoneground, if not available, use rolled oats.
For two people, overnight soak one cup of oats with two and a half cups of water... get to know your oats, it may take three cups of water. In the morning, bring to the boil, stirring constantly with a spirtle or wooden spoon. Then reduce to a very gentle simmer and cook for fifteen minutes. Before serving, add salt to taste... NO SUGAR, SYRUP OR ANYTHING SWEET!
Serve in large bowls then pour over your preferred milk, full cream milk is best. The porridge will float freely like an island in the bowl. For a special treat, cream may be added with a good Scottish (or local) honey.
Please do try real Scottish Porridge before you start adding fruit, peanut butter or anything else weird.
I also have a fantastic recipe for Scottish oatmeal soup.
