    Love today's video. I'm glad that you decided to make an organic asset this time because I've been having trouble with making organic objects.

    I really love your videos, I find creating 3D assets really intimidating as I usually don't know how to model it in the most efficient way.
    I am going to try this out tomorrow!

      It used to be intimidating for me too, but with time you will get better and won't have to think too much on how to model something; there are always many ways to model something and as long as the end result is good it doesn't matter what techniques you used.

      This is what I have made using your video as inspiration.: skfb.ly/6yKty
      :) Thanks for your reply, I am mostly concerned about my technical knowledge in things as UV unwrapping and using all the tools to their max potential. As I have the tendency to make it difficult for myself without knowing it. But as you said, with some time and practice I can reach the level I desire to be.
      I liked how you used the knife tool to make those segments in the leaves.
      I used Blender for modeling and sculpting + Substance Painter for the high to low poly bake.

    Another great video. Maybe next time you could share the UV process and normal baking?

    How did you go from polymode to smooth mode in zbrush (3 key in Maya)? Also did you UV the object or did you use Substance Painters auto UV?

    What program do you use to sculpt? Still Maya or some other program?

    Do you use pen tab in Substance Painter???

    • @3dextrude
      @3dextrude  6 років тому

      Not really, I just use the mouse since I am not painting anything by hand.

    why do you make such models? Is it for a game or just for fun? And do you have a blog or something?

    love u're videos, do you render directly in zbrush ?
    And do you use substance painter sometimes ?
    dont have zbrush :'(

    • @3dextrude
      @3dextrude  6 років тому

      Render is from Marmoset Toolbag, I use Substance Painter alot. You can try sculptris or blender for sculpting software that's free.

    Hi, when you're creating the uv map, are you unsmoothing the model in maya?

    • @3dextrude
      @3dextrude  6 років тому

      @@3dextrude maybe hand painting with cloud or noise brush can have a good result, i would love to see it. Love all vids from this channel regardless.

    plzz dont make all videos in time lapse.....make them normal

    • @3dextrude
      @3dextrude  6 років тому

      I won't be able to upload as consistently if I do them normal because it takes way longer to make those so for now they will stay this way.

    But maya has tools to sculp

    • @3dextrude
      @3dextrude  6 років тому

      Yeah you can try that too, although Maya can get a little slow if you divide too much.
