Your assets get more and more interesting that I NEED to see how do did it! Keep these videos coming I love them.
P.S I also enjoyed how you showed the UV mapping nice little detail you added :)
+Alfonso Hernandez Thank you!
You probably dont care but does someone know a tool to get back into an instagram account??
I stupidly forgot my account password. I love any tricks you can give me
@Jayson Ares instablaster :)
@Johnathan Kaison thanks so much for your reply. I found the site through google and I'm waiting for the hacking stuff now.

+Pedro Simões Thank you!
I love these videos also thanks for showing of the unwrap
+Alfie Birch Thank you!
are you able to make more tutorials for this style more for the texturing side.
+Alfie Birch I will try, but no promises.
Ok Cheers
nice, i like it
Awsome work, it could speed up your work process with symmerty.
Nice
Thanks a lot
+zyangpointer Thank you!
tnx vidio and uv tutor)you super master
+emaeshka Thank you!
Love this video, great model. I noticed your MEL buttons for UV mapping, I struggle a great deal with this. Just wondering would you be ok with sharing those MEL buttons scripts? @3dEx
This song is from a Yu-Gi-Oh! Game
It looks super great!
But I also wonder why you keep some of the polygons that wont be visible, like on the back of the skull.
+Nikolas De la Cruz Thank you! That's because this is a speed model. In my case that means a model that is made very quickly, not polished or optimized, is not production ready. A model that is made within a specific time frame, for me that's less than 1 hour( although this one took a bit longer than that). For speed models all I care about is having fun without caring much about the model being "appropriate" for a game or any other production environment.
awesome, i love that 1 like
+Guille Walls Thank you!
does this consider to be a good topology ? using the cylinder's base topology ?
hello everyone please I am beginner need to know something about UV After this steps in tut after I paint it in substance when the model back to Maya it's will render fine in Arnold and what about UV it's done in substance or I must UV first in Maya before export it to Substance ,, need to someone tell me the steps for final model model , UV , texture , animation sorry if i put material not texture need to wrap the UV also,, what about retopology for a static model, not animation it's must also? sorry for my english
Is it possible to create assets directly in zbrush? or we must reduce the polygons and texture every single time?. thanks!
Where do you find that stylized smart material? That seems super helpful
You can get it from 3dex.net under the downloads page, its the one with the picture of a bed.
How often do you use a photo or drawn reference? This is stunning!
I always look at references and inspirational material, this one was mostly made up on the spot.
Incredible!
I'm waiting for new videos
Name of the music used in the vídeo?
what nusic did you use in the end? i cant placed but i heard it before annoying its beautiful
That is from Yugioh for the original xbox.
music name pls
Thank for this tutorial that help me a lot , anw may I get concep design for practicing at home
Nice! There is no concept art
π_π ..thank you
On 0:07 or 0:08
How did you do that!? Ive been looking for that for a while. It reminds me of this from sketchup pro because you can make the edge loop in exact to the other edge loop.
Great video!
I didn't do anything special I was just eye balling it and scaling it by hand.
Ah then I think it because of this speed.
Alright thank you so much and you have good eyes : )
Hi, your assets are awesome! Have a question about your smart material. I want to import it to substance painter 2017.3.1 but it says "3dEx_Stylized_Material.spsm cannot be imported as smartmaterial". How to make it work? Thanks and keep doing good job ^^
+Artem Ostapchuk Unfortunately you need to upgrade to a later version for it to work.
Awesome! What do you use for the turn style at the end?
+Miranda Lee That's marmoset toolbag. I will upload the unedited real time version of this video tomorrow which also includes the settings I use in Marmoset Toolbag.
cool thanks :D do you think you could show like more of the process in instruction style how to go to zbrush and go high poly and then back to low poly again with those textures out of zbrush I'm having the hardest time with that part of it.
+Miranda Lee The unedited video I am posting tomorrow won't have any narration, but you should still be able to follow what am doing. I might make a more step by step video in the future.
Ok yay can't wait thanks so much. Your models you make are so cute too, been watching a while now good job on them!
How did you export high poly model in substance painter?
In the bake texture settings there is a slot where you can plug that in.
Very nice, where do you get the inspiration?
Mostly from Artstation, lots of good things there.
that two seconds where the music overlaps
at 4:35 when you switch to zbrush, how did you polish the model that way? I can't really find a fast way to to achieve this without breaking sharp edges
you can turn smt off when you divide it the first time and then turn it back on so it preserves the edges. You can also use dynamesh to do that as well.
thank you for the quick response, you're the best man!
On 1:25 how are you doing that? With the red and yellow lines? Is it a hot key or what is it called?
It's called soft selection, you can just use B for the shortcut. Really helpful tool for me tbh.
Where program do yo use yo además colores & rendering?
Susbtance Painter for textures, Marmoset Toolbag for rendering.
Do you use graphics tablet for zbrush?
Yes I do
Hey, I had a quick question. What hotkey are you using to work on the separate meshes? I have yet to figure that out.
ctrl + shift click the model, need to set polygroups for it to work
@@3dextrude thank you!
wich smart material do you use?
one I made, link is in the description or here :www.3dex.net/download-files.html
is there a donwload for the smart material you used?
There is a tutorial gumroad.com/l/paintertut
Does speed modeling mean you set a time limit or that the vid is sped up
For me it's both
I liked)). Thanks! But, what about normal speed video? It's will be more useful.
I also posted this specific video at normal speed, it's in my channel
@@3dextrude O, thanks! ))
On 1:17, how did you do that?
Press b to activate soft selection
How to isolate the bottle in z brush
I created polygroups and hold down alt and click on the object to isolated.
3dEx thanks it works
is this model low polly or high polly?
The final is low poly, though it could be optimized a bit more
All this using mouse?
Sculpting portion is done with a tablet
Are you selling Zbrush-Substance Painter tutorial by chance?
Not at the moment, I posted a video today where I go over that.
Uuhhh 1h40m video goodness
