I agree, Tyler’s a natural on camera! Just hope I’m half as decent to see/hear me explain shit on my build. The wrenching I’ve got down by myself, it’s the filming/editing end I’ve gotta get figured out to get my channel up and moving hopefully/FINALLY! Lol
Hell ya man , glad to hear the plans, I just started to follow you because I'm building a 55 Chevy bel air with a 6.0 ls as well , i appreciate you making these vids and keeping everyone updated, can't wait to see the next one
I’m just impressed you said NO while Pops was saying YES to spraying it 🤣 I like his style don’t get me wrong🤘🏼BUT you’re making the right decision to NOT unnecessarily grenade anything when you’re on a budget! Lol Really like your build man and I’ll continue keeping up👌🏼 Trying to get my own channel finally/completely started…you mind me asking what you’re using to edit your videos 🤔 Been turning wrenches and building hotrods/street cars my whole life but not too shabby on the technology side of the filming and stuff like that 🤦🏻♂️
Got a 94 s10 SS lq4. Terminator x max running everything. Summit 8708 cam. 3200 stall billet 3 disc n/a 400 lph quantum fuel pump. That 6l gonna cause the G body shuffle he a blast to drive. Especially with a stroker and nitrous can't wait to see it
I'm having the same problem with my 6.0 I had mine built and I can't figure out why it's doing that at all. Not sure if it's a new bad oil pump maybe bearing clearance 🤔 🤷🏽♂️. I have a 1980 pontiac grand Lemans so same car basically.
That aint too bad for oil pressure for an ls Let's got miles on it. My LQ4 I ran it for a year Oil pressure at 20? Pounds. At a? Stop. Light sixty after going
6.0 you are going to. Love it 408 11.7.1 compression 821 ported heads 625 lift cam 400 Trans 3000 stall 3.90 gear 200 shot nitrous get ready to go for a ride
Sounds like a nice setup with the compression and camshaft you mentioned your probably turning 7200rpm the 3.90 gears sound good but these cammed LS motors love high stall converters I'm thinking a 4200-4800rpm stall converter would be worth a few tenths peak torque on the engine you described should be making peak torque 4800-5500rpm
@@fast.as.xracing8733 My GEN 5 Camaro with a fairly mild GM performance LS3 495 horsepower crate engine on E85 with a built 6L80E automatic transmission and stock 3.27 gears and a Circle D 4200rpm stall converter weighing 3920 with full interior and AC with me in it has ran 7.22 at 96mph in the eighth mile with a 1.65 60 foot time naturally aspirated with only 6 passes can be driven anywhere drives like stock at 2100rpm at 80 mph on the highway
6L gonna be fun in that G body!....Ohio Crankshaft will do ya right ,and that Combination with those heads will make you throw rocks at the 5.3 lol. keep us updated brother!
Where are u from with that Malibu maybe my family can hook up with yours and go race together we have about 5 or 6 cars now but it's all the same family father son and daughter and b I'm the old uncle that started the car thing in the family
You’re a natural in front of the camera.
Looking forward to seeing what your 6.0 does on spray
Appreciate it brother! I Can’t wait to show y’all!

Just found your channel. Love the car , keep pushing that content stay busy.
Sounds like your building a beast, love following guys doing carbed LS builds (I’m an old guy) keep us updated, thanks for the content
Change your oil filter just had this with mine!
My bet is the 750 cfm won't be near big enough........very nice ride.
Yes, 408 or bigger is gonna want an 850 for full cfm power up to 7K rpm…I’d go with a 950 spraying it just to know I’m never gonna run out of carb👌🏼
Man cool car I thought all of those Malibus had been painted flat black years ago

You measure the pickup to the pan gap????????
Yes used play dough in a plastic bag to gauge the gap with the pan on.
I like your attitude, positive I'm going to rock it with ya!!!
Loving the 6.0L plans. I have a 6.0 in my Malibu.

i used to drive on up to Knightstown all the time to get parts from the Paddock for my 69 Chevelle back in the late 80s early 90s.
Where y’all live? Good looking car.
Eastern Indiana and thanks man appreciate it!
so, are you close to Ohio Crank Shaft? im not far from them. I'm hoping to build a 6.0 boosted engine this coming year.
I’m about an hour west from them. So far they have been awesome had my short block done in less than 3 weeks

New build should be nice
