I sure did kick Toan's ass, didn't I? Even though that was the Dark Genie controlling my actions. Also, I loved the fact that Seda was *taunting* Toan at 3:38.
Leo Johnson I also discovered recently that there’s no fail scene for the werewolves duel. Which leads me to believe that one was never animated unlike the skeleton fight, Seda fight, and the airship qte,
I'm surprised that Seda didn't break Toan's neck after he kicked him. Also, if you pause at 3:15, you could see Seda's pupils turn red *before* the full possession.
Dark Cloud was the Dark Souls of its Era hahahaha, Dark Chronicles was also a great game, I miss those days, playing to DC1 and 2 with my dad, my mom, and my sister.
Holy crap; It's been AGES that I played this game! I played it back around in 2001, and I couldn't even REMEMBER the name of the game, only that there was a fight with a skeleton and that water was one of the main mechanics, where if you don't drink, you basically die. It's neat to find the game again!
*sent spiraling at 100 MPH from a kick from Seda*
*_"EXCELLENT!"_* As it zooms in on Seda...

The music when toan is trying to board the ship true eargasm.
Seda: *beats the shit out of Toan*
Game: EXCELLENT!
The duels were the best part imo. Wish there were more. Especially with Dark Genie versus the Sun Golem(think that’s the name of it)
Agreed!

There are only 6 duels in this game. Missed opportunities, tbh. I'd like to have seen more duels.
I wonder how many people made the mistake of not equipping the serpent sword when fighting the snake?
Always good to see this game get some well-deserved attention. (^:

he knocks Toan to the ground, but it still counts as "Excellent" and Toan is gifted a gem!
I also would willingly absorb an energy blast for a cat
I'm getting this comment printed on a shirt
meow memories... i love dark cloud :)

DC2 just came out on Playstation Now, too bad there's no duels on there :(. It's definitely hitting me right in the nostalgia though!

This game would have been so much better with more of these. If not one per area then one for each gemstone.
Yeah I really enjoy them :)
I just finished the main game today and started on DC2. From what I hear there is no dueling there. :(
I haven't played DC2 all the way through yet :P
the memories...
Yeahh baby remember those times
No excellent on Goro?
The diagonal one always throws me off in the Goro duel :P
@@Caticulated FUCK THAT DUEL
So Seda knew that they will meet again huh?
Yeah, I knew that.
@7:09 Toan spoke?
What is the title of the music that starts at 4:22
Nobody:
The action animation scenes I imagine when listening to music: 12:58
How did you manage to do that diagonal? UwU
