Nail builds are almost as viable as spell builds. -But yeah Abyss Shriek is the only spell to use ever- 5) Unless you’re speedrunning or somehow you got to the Howling Wraiths very early on, you’re not gonna scream at the Mantis Lords. 6) What does this mean? 7) _SCREAM AT JELLYFISH._ 8) Not necessary. You can just stand in a corner and periodically hit Marmu til he dies. 9) Don’t even touch the ground. 10) Hive Knight tries to make you think you need to be moving faster than him to beat him. I don’t think he has any particularly aerial moves, so pogo that bad boy. 11) Not really, but each individual Knight has a laughable health pool. Learn their patterns, abuse their AI, and watch them carefully, and it’s a cake walk. 12) Jump on Zote. 13) Kill them even if you don’t need to. They’re the bane of most players’ existence. 14) Dreamnailing an enemy gives at least one full Focus of soul (1/3 of the bar). Do it to bosses, and you have a refreshable mid-battle Soul pool. Pushing the nail into the ground makes a “Dream Gate,” which is a teleport pad you can return to by holding the Dream Nail up until you disappear. Very useful if you’re about to go into uncharted territory or a one-way trip. 15) Hit them fastly, they get deader fastly.
@@Enneamorph abyss shriek is way less all encompassing than you make it out to be. It's great, but sneaking in dmg using vengeful spirit on light bosses (Hornet, hive knight) is great. (Abyss shrieking light bosses also potentially bounces them out of abyss shriek, or rarely, INTO you)

By the way, the dream nails aren't random. They give quite a bit of soul, so you can use it to build up soul if you can't attack a boss for a period of time, like Uumuu at the start of his fight.
You'd be surprised by how fast you can do things once you know where everything is Specially with the dlcs, doing the "100% in 20 hours" achievement is pretty feasible
@@dragoxl5 It does. For some reason the howling wraith does less damage than the normal down spell but abyss shriek does much more than descending dark.
@@FattyMcLangy There are some skips in other categories that involve intentionally dying so you can pogo off your shade to areas you're not supposed to get to yet. I know that's an important part of the any% run, at least.

This is so hard to do, only a few people are even able to complete the final Phanteon and you do it under timepressure on Steelsoul, it is insane what you are capable of, insanely great Job Dude !
It took about 15 minutes into the video to realize this was a steel soul run, and you were overcharmed. I think your skill in this game has gone to a place where we can no longer follow Also btw for anyone who hasn’t seen it, go to 2:50:32 for a pro gamer moment

Memorizing a route like this with all of the little shortcuts and skips seems like a Herculean task in itself, at least to me, though I’m a relative noob at this game. Watching you go through the nearly pitch black sections without the lantern is legitimately mind blowing.

Memorizing a route like this with all of the little shortcuts and skips seems like a Herculean task in itself, at least to me, though I’m a relative noob at this game. Watching you go through the nearly pitch black sections without the lantern is legitimately mind blowing.
