- Ugh, early-mid game was a bit slow, but decent late game.
Huge time saves from Tyrant reroute and new Pantheon strats.

Q: Do you play on a controller or a keyboard?
A: Keyboard (Mechanical)
Q: Why do you open your inventory while falling?
A: Increases falling speed + Removes hardfalls.
Q: Weren't inventory drops removed??
A: Not entirely, they're just way more precise. You can only do them as you fall off a ledge. That's why you'll see me use other ways to drop faster, like cyclone drops and dives.
Q: Why is the game in Chinese?
A: Faster text scroll + Less letters in general, saves a good amount of time.
Q: Why are there 2 timers?
A: The lower one is for time without game loading times (loadless), upper one is real time (RTA).
Q: Isn't the Pantheon of Hallownest optional?
A: The category is 112% All Bosses*, which makes it required.
*It's impossible to actually do all bosses with the same save file without returning to it after credits, so we do kinda skip original Hollow Knight and Radiance.

Well I mean Steel Soul doesnt make much of a difference if you're going for WR since if you die once normally you're most likely finished
@@FattyMcLangy There are some skips in other categories that involve intentionally dying so you can pogo off your shade to areas you're not supposed to get to yet. I know that's an important part of the any% run, at least.

It's mostly because it does an extreme amount of damage, but yeah I guess.
@@Sushi_355 It doesn't do anymore damage than a normal attack. No knockback means they can attack more often which means more damage.
Doesn't the Abyss Shriek do a shitton of damage?
@@dragoxl5 It does. For some reason the howling wraith does less damage than the normal down spell but abyss shriek does much more than descending dark.

1) Use the nail arts
2) Not taking damage > Focus
3) Slow screen transitions/text/effects that can't be skipped feel VERY tense during speedruns (note for game development)
4) Spells > Nail and Focus
5) Scream at mantises
6) Puffirefish is weak against liddle circles
7) Scream at Jellyfish
8) Scream at caterpillar
9) Jump on mantises
10) Jump on bee
11) ???? Are the Watcher Knights THAT easy
12) Jump on Zote!
13) Kill Primal Aspids ASAP
14) Dreamnail at random intervals??
15) Hit things fastly

1) Yes. Do that. I’m guilty of not doing it enough myself.
2) Also yes. Panic healing does more harm than good.
3) I would assume so.
4) Depends on the spell and how good your nail is. Nail builds are almost as viable as spell builds. -But yeah Abyss Shriek is the only spell to use ever-
5) Unless you’re speedrunning or somehow you got to the Howling Wraiths very early on, you’re not gonna scream at the Mantis Lords.
6) What does this mean?
7) _SCREAM AT JELLYFISH._
8) Not necessary. You can just stand in a corner and periodically hit Marmu til he dies.
9) Don’t even touch the ground.
10) Hive Knight tries to make you think you need to be moving faster than him to beat him. I don’t think he has any particularly aerial moves, so pogo that bad boy.
11) Not really, but each individual Knight has a laughable health pool. Learn their patterns, abuse their AI, and watch them carefully, and it’s a cake walk.
12) Jump on Zote.
13) Kill them even if you don’t need to. They’re the bane of most players’ existence.
14) Dreamnailing an enemy gives at least one full Focus of soul (1/3 of the bar). Do it to bosses, and you have a refreshable mid-battle Soul pool. Pushing the nail into the ground makes a “Dream Gate,” which is a teleport pad you can return to by holding the Dream Nail up until you disappear. Very useful if you’re about to go into uncharted territory or a one-way trip.
15) Hit them fastly, they get deader fastly.

@@Enneamorph abyss shriek is way less all encompassing than you make it out to be. It's great, but sneaking in dmg using vengeful spirit on light bosses (Hornet, hive knight) is great. (Abyss shrieking light bosses also potentially bounces them out of abyss shriek, or rarely, INTO you)

By the way, the dream nails aren't random. They give quite a bit of soul, so you can use it to build up soul if you can't attack a boss for a period of time, like Uumuu at the start of his fight.

I wish the Pantheon versions of Grimm, Zote, and the Coliseum fights (and any others I'm missing) had their respective spectators mixed into the audience. Would've been a cute touch, but I understand there's only so much I can ask of free DLC that's already bursting with features.
Don't get me wrong, i'd love to see that too, but It would make little sense lore-wise
@@patrickramos1748 it makes just as much sense that the False Knight still has rocks falling from the roof or that lost kin still has those balloon things in their dream variant.
None of these things are part of these characters or used by them like some bosses use nails.
It took about 15 minutes into the video to realize this was a steel soul run, and you were overcharmed. I think your skill in this game has gone to a place where we can no longer follow

Memorizing a route like this with all of the little shortcuts and skips seems like a Herculean task in itself, at least to me, though I’m a relative noob at this game. Watching you go through the nearly pitch black sections without the lantern is legitimately mind blowing.

I decided a week ago I wanted to do the 112%, no speedrun, and I've been there for more than 30 hours, for me it's mindblowing how you can manage to do this in just 3 hours, you're amazing man very good work ^^
The amount of practice that must go into a run like this must be incredible. I’d love to know just how many hours you’ve got in this game. To master the combat, perfect the traversal and optimize the routes to this degree, there must have been a serious amount of work and time put into the game. It’s pretty amazing to watch.
