Correct the suspension geometry and eliminate bump steer on your lowered 1979-1993 Mustang with this SVE bump steer kit! When you lower your Mustang, it throws off the factory geometry of your suspension. This leads to uneven tire wear, unpredictable steering, and bump steer. This SVE bump steer kit will help cure these symptoms and improve handling. The bump steer kit replaces your factory tie rods and replaces them with heavy duty, spherical rod ends that adjust to correct your suspension geometry.
This Mustang SVE bump steer kit is constructed with high quality materials that are built to last. The spherical rod ends are heavy duty and can handle road racing, drag racing, and daily driving duties. This kit does NOT require you to drill the spindle and includes enough spacers to dial in your suspension. Nylon nuts secure the rod ends to the spindle for a quick and easy installation. This kit has an anodized black finish that looks great on any Mustang.
    Features:
    - Anodized Black Finish
    - Spherical Rod Ends
    - Assorted Spacers
    - Easy Adjustment
    - Properly Corrects Suspension Geometry
Fitment: 1979-1993 Mustang w/ Power Rack
    Item # SVE-3130AA

Need a kit for the 78 Granada type front spindles. Are the tapers the same?

HotRod Ray - I'm not sure about the taper on a '78 Granada spindle. I would recommend searching for a specific kit for a Granada spindle. -Landan

Hey LMR, im thinking about going with new edge spindles on my 87 mustang LX, but im not lowering the car do i need these?

    • @latemodelrestoration

This is a touchy subject and you'll get different opinions from anyone that you ask. Some say to not use 96-04 spindles because it's impossible to correct the geometry with a bumpsteer kit. However, there are several cars out there that have 96-04 spindles with stock Fox geometry k-members (stock or aftermarket) and are working fine. All of the cars that I've done have been lowered and required a bumpsteer kit due to the geometry. I can't speak on behalf of factory ride height as I've never messed with it and it's been a while since I've measured bump steer. Also, 96-04 spindles will increase the track width 8.1mm (.320") per side. I wish I had a yes or no answer, but figured I would be honest with you. Thanks. -Landan

Should never say use an adjustable wrench. That's how people strip the nuts as many use crap adjustable wrenches. Other than that good video. Other thing is to use a torque wrench when telling people to torque to 40 ft lbs.
