I wish there were some videos on the Thunderbird caster camber plates install. I just wish there were more T-Birds in general. I am one of the few 85 5.0 owners left
I know this is a old comment but it might help someone out,all shops that do alignment will know how to use this, in fact they recommend it, on my 91 the last 2 sets of tires i have gotten they have told me i need caster and camber plates so they can get a perfect alignment, they told me its about 90% but thats as far as they can go till i get the plates installed, thats next on my list.
I have a 1994 mustang gt and am about to put on some camber plates. I ordered the 3 bolt ones because it said it was compatible with the 94 but in lots of the videos I see none are three bolt does it matter if they are 4 bolt or three bolt
Love when I get to watch Bill and learn or refresh my memory on installs like this. Thank y’all for all you do for the community ❤️

What shops are going to know how to use these things to align the car properly?

I got the same one for my 86.
What's the drill for? Just in case theres a rivet? Also whats the electric rachet you're using? That makes life so much easier
Yes the drill is for the rivets and its . DeWalt 18V cordless impact that works great.
@@cjponyparts awesome thank you!!
just zip everything off with the impact. install nuts with fingers then zip tight with low setting on impact is what i do.
Im getting hood clearance/closing issues after install
5:o2 max motorsports logo placed 'forward o the driver' or 'forward' to the hood opening?
Front of the car.
I bought the kit but I lost the big spacer that goes under the strut nut on the top of one side, and was wondering if that's a big deal?
You use the spacers based on how low the car is, you can probably get a replacement through MM.
@@cjponyparts awesome thank you my car is lowet about an inch and a half

doesn't matter but with 4 bolt ones you will have to drill the 4th hole yourself on each side.
So I just tight them down anyway I want it???
thats what id like to know too
Looks like the top of the strut shaft will hit the hood when closing.
It will be close but there is clearance.
I have the caster camber plates and koni struts I’m installing but I have SN95 spindles on my fox, will that make a difference on installation
