To be honest I subscribe to Judy Norton from The Waltons UA-cam channel and she often explains situations like this, I've actually learned a lot about how shows and movies are done from her. Having been involved in it you would probably enjoy her videos, she doesn't just talk about the show she explains how they shot certain scenes and even interviews past guest stars and cast members.
There are not many storylines with Jan and Peter working as a duo like with Greg and Marcia or Cindy and Bobby. In fact, I think Jan and Peter didn't argue like the other 2 pairs when the episode was centered on Jan and Peter usually the two of them supported each other in whatever goal they had.

Sadly, Jan discovered that in addition to being an artist, in 2024 you ALSO needed to act and dance and film yourself and edit your films and post them on social media 5 times a week or more to attract attention if you want people to see what kind of art you make and maybe even sell your services... I know, Jan... no artist signed up for this bullshit... but that's what we have to do now... act like a bunch of trained monkeys so people will stumble across us and follow us and maybe even commission us... otherwise, we're screwed. Bummer.
