I think Mr. Haskell was wrong to fire Marcia who had done nothing wrong (except spraying whipped cream on a customer deliberately) just because Jan was "a little bit better." Marcia had proven herself to be a good worker. But in the end it worked out ok, Jan offered to quit and leave the job to Marcia but Jeff called and apologized for showing up with another girl just to make Marcia jealous and they got back together. He was very good looking.
