AT LEAST 4 cops. Maybe Florida is particularly wasteful and only ever has one cop per car, but usually they ride in pairs.
I never heard of a law stating that you must have both hands on the handlebars at all times when biking. How the hell do you use hand signals when riding on the road? These pigs are corrupt.
So, FL law required such until 2012 when that law was taken off the books after bein repealed. It did used to allow exceptions for hand signals, of which the middle finger wudntve been accepted

Correct. To properly ride a bike, you have to be fluent in hand and arm signals. That requires riding with one arm not connected to the handlebars! Just saying. It's on the damn dmv test!
If these settlements came out of the cops pensions you'd see how quickly this behavior changes.

You don’t need a law degree however you need to take the initiative and learn how to sue without a lawyer and it’s every Americans responsibility to do so. Here's $300 of made up citations; one of which is based on a law that was taken off the books as of 2012, and the other two that werent actually applicable here as he wasnt ridin his bike on the boardwalk nor in a business district, and Daytona Beach allows the ridin of bikes on sidewalks otherwise

I checked the statue for Florida.
The law that requires both hands was stricken down in 2019. The law about bikes on sidewalks says they are treated like pedestrians which is the one they wrote him, and the last one I forget but also doesn't apply.
If the city follows up with those charges they will lose. Officer Best's first name must be Tyrant.

You don't need a lawyer to contest the ticket, it's a meeting with the magistrate and you just stick to your rights. I tell them I'm not paying and go ahead and suspend three unconstitutional registry they have manipulated me into getting. I'm going to travel freely and unaccumbered as is my right!! Similarly, it was lawful to ride on the sidewalk there; the cop had to "misinterpret" this law to come to the conclusion any violation occurred: "Any person operating a bicycle upon a roadway at less than the normal speed of traffic at the time and place and under the conditions then existing shall ride in the lane marked for bicycle use or, if no lane is marked for bicycle use, as close as practicable to the right-hand curb or edge of the roadway"
Which as you see, from the start says "on a roadway" not "on a sidewalk along a roadway". But hey, cop vision must be diff than citizen vision
Daytona Beach doesnt restrict the ridin of bikes to the roadway on that area that the guy was cited in. FL doesnt restrict the ridin of bikes to two handed operation since 2011.

I had a Pennsylvania state trooper pull me over last night because I flipped him off because he was tailgating me. I told him I don't answer questions, and he didn't push the issue. He knew he was in the wrong. So I went online and I filed a complaint on their website. We'll see what happens.

Used to be a good indicator of prison time, drug use, dregs of society. Both of my daughters got small tattoos and both want them removed now. Dad I got a tattoo (WHY) I asked them at the time. You will regret that decision one day.
