Funny story, I was selling my psp online and a family wanted to buy it. I met them, working class people... car smelt like beer and cigarettes, the psp was for the son and I had a few games included... They saw the grand theft auto game in the stack and said "this is too violent", after a 10 minute conversation I gave it to them for almost free, and passed the kid the GTA game without them seeing, hahaha the look on his face was absolutely priceless... Cheers Metal Jesus!!!!

I should have mentioned that the VITA is a great way to play these PSP games, because many are available for download through the Playstation Store. I downloaded SOCOM Fireteam 3 the other day and have been replaying the game on Vita!
+MetalJesusRocks I love that feature of my Vita. I have played FIreteam Bravo a lot on my Vita, and a Game called Field Commander, an awesome Strategy game.
the thing about the UMD is that if the plastic covering the disk is piped in or out, the PSP can't play, a temporary fix is pushing the metal part of the disk lightly until the plastic is back in place, and a fix for memory sticks are placing a piece of toilet paper or a tissue oon the memory stick and insert it in
My parents were very strict and never allowed me to have vidoe games. A guy at my church felt bad for me and gave me a psp for free. I still have it and collect games for it to this day.

2020 and still have my PSP-1000. We always take it with us on vacations and road trips. Great to play while waiting in airports and such. Great video guys!
Finally getting around to picking up a PSP after wanting one for years! There’s a few games I know I want, but wasn’t sure what all else to get. And then I finally remembered, “MJR has a buying guide video! I have to look it up and watch it again!” Always love watching your videos, and always love coming back when they’re of use to me.
of course it is i still play it, and just finished the MGS peace walker completely. It was like the best game i have played, wanted that game to be on the list instead of portable ops cuz peace walker was better
Quatz - yer people can't keep their hands to themselves; mine was picked up while I was at work by someone I know, that was in 2018, I never got it replaced; but I do want one now December 2020; 'manicaly so,' and I did make that thief 'pay;' I always do...but I didn't think to replace it....any one got a Psp to sell could you drop it to a Cex store in Birmingham city? Cheers if you do.
Just reactivated a 1000 for retrogaming. The analog stick went insane and i can't find local workshops that fix it so i went for the the JoySens solution. It's fine
I'm mainly a gameboy collector and I just won a psp in an auction. I got one for my 8th grade graduation (27 now) and it was the coolest thing ever. So excited to get it in the mail!
To me the 3000 is the essential PSP. It's the only PSP that lets you hook it up to a crt tv. I use this exclusively for all of my favorite ps1 games: Full screen, s video quality,..sweet! Also it literally is the Playstation portable: play all those ps1 classics anywhere. PSP is awesome.
3000 is the best all rounder easily but I wouldn't knock the Go or the Street because the Go is a console that really does fit into your pocket and comes with great storage and the Street is really comfortable and has a great dust/smudge proof screen.
Dokuro Chan I just got a 1002 (some replacement batteries for the ready-to-explode one it came with won't arrive until August, :-( ). But it has the TV connection next to the headphone jack that's only supposed to be on the 2000. Any idea what the deal is there?
Seriously love this channel. The in depth PSP videos in particular. I got one this year as never had it before! It slays, one of the best handhelds for sure
I use micro sd cards with an adapter. Much easier than trying to find the proper psp memory cards in a decent capacity. I'm a big fan of the psp. Love games like Syphon Filter, Loco Roco, Patapon, Lumines, Echochrome, Monster Hunter Freedom and Persona 3 Portable.
My fondest gaming memories come from the PSP. I remember getting my first PSP for Christmas in 2007 and it taking off from there. Games like Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep, Spider-Man 2, SOCOM Tactics, Thrillville Off the Rails, God of War, MGS, LittleBIGPlanet, Burnout, LocoRoco, Daxter, Jak and Daxter, Secret Agent Clank, Crazy Taxi and Syphon Filter were some of my favorites (and the list could go on). RIP PSP, thanks for making some of the best childhood memories.
From what I remember according to former Xbox team members, Microsoft was looking into getting into handhelds but for one reason or another they scrapped it.
They saw that Sony was struggling to take market share away from Nintendo handhelds and mobile gaming with phones became big right around the time they were considering it as well.
the meme factory That doesnt matter to “casual gamers” us “real gamers” dont like them yeah But they make a ton of money regardless just because we dont like them doenst mean they arent succesfull
I bought a PSP last year to test games to resell for it and that was it, I had no interest in the system really, until I found out it can do remote play with my PS3 and I can now play all of my PS1 games anywhere in the house, and I soft modded it to so I can play my retro games on the go. I love that thing now!
I just ordered a 1001K model even though I'm already have a 3000 model. Original model remained my dream model for some reason it just looked and built better than slim models.
Coming back to this after watching it 8 years back. This video was the reason I started collecting for the PSP, and game collecting in general! I currently have a little over 150 psp games, thanks MJR and Reggie!
@@campkira Assuming this was when OP was younger, back in the day it wasn't as easy as it is today, even with the pandora battery it wasn't something a kid could do
I think the only way you can really mess it up is if you disconnect it from power. It is pretty easy to do you just need to find the software or files to make a magic memory stick and buy a pandora battery or make one.If you make the memory stick you will need very basic coding experience.Making a pandora battery is harder. I would definitely try to just find someone on craigslist that will let you use theirs or buy it for 20 dollars.
absolutely love my psp. bought my first in 08. then another one in 2010 and had it ever since. no problems (knock on wood). i only have 4 games that i play: gta vc stories, socom ftb3, armored core ff, and gran turismo. I'm actually shocked metal Jesus didn't have gt in his stack.
Some things that definitely need to be mentioned.. 1. Fuck Memory Stick Duo. Get a microSD adapter, that way you can use ANY microSD and boom. It's not even a proprietary format so you can use it for multiple things. There's even dual microSD converters so you can combine two. 2. The 3000 lets you use composite cables as well, not just component. 3. Homebrewing. Yes, most people are gonna install CFW to pirate games, however, I really feel that the PSP must be credited with it's amazing homebrew scene. It is THE best handheld emulation machine around pretty much. I got my first PSP last year so I'm super late to the PSP party, but it is pretty amazing. I had a Vita before PSP and I just can't grasp how they fucked up the Vita so bad. All they should had done was a PSP with a second analog stick and much beefier specs.
Great video guys. After owning a PSP 2001 model more than a decade ago, I’m getting a silver 2001 psp again and I wanted to see if I made a good choice to get back to the PSP and I immediately remember of this video and now I’m glad I got the 2001 model. Thanks for the great video guys! You guys are awesome 🤘🏽
Great video. I bought a PSP 1000 and 3000 just to play Gradius Collection. Trying to buy a PSP is tricky these days, as most of them are beat up, 'modded, partially defective or all three. My two units aren't perfect so I'm still looking for a solid, 100% functioning unit. Keep up the good work Metal Jesus!
Ah, I traded my mint condition 3ds with lots of excursive games for a psp e1000 with a 4gb memory stick with a psp case and 4 games, daxter, resistance retribution, Disney Ratatouille and Jak n Dak.
i bought a blue psp in 2018 and love the thing it gets played daily tbh,,great video metal,,reggie is a cool guy too,,keep up the good work,,currently playing motorstorm looks amazing,,peace
Should have also talked about the ergonomics of the different PSPs, because lets face it, even through the PSP 1000 had the worst screen and had slower UMD loading because of having half the RAM of the others, it felt the best in your hands because it was thicker and had better hand grips that weren't glossy, and just overall had the best build quality. The 2000-3000 were thinner and didn't have the bulging hand holds on the back, and only certain colors gave you the matte finish on the back (Like the Silver 2000 model), and the Black Glossy PSP 2000 & 3000s just looked nasty with fingerprints. While the PSP Go's ergonomics are abysmal, just think of an old slideout keyboard from a cellphone, BUT you forgot to mention the PSP Go had a dock that let you hook it up to the TV, and while using the dock you could sync PS3 controllers to the go, basically making it the precursor to the PSTV.
@@davidantonio8798 which is ironic because the Dock for the PSpgo has become one of the centerpieces for PSP collecting, its one of the more rare and expensive than the system itself and most of its game sealed
It's easy for people to scoff at this with modern-day graphics. But at the time the only other handheld was the game Boy advance. So this looked like PS2 graphics versus SNES graphics with the gbs it was mind blowing.
I was a DS kid growing up, and my memories with that system are fantastic, but I always thought the PSP was amazing. I finally ordered one just the other day and I’m so excited to experience it!
I know how you feel. Sort of. I got my GBA SP stolen in like 5th grade... At least my copy of Pokemon Sapphire wasn't in it. Just Yoshi's Island, which I now have on my 3DS.
speaking of blue i missed my blue playstation but got stolen by this technician i brought into. Then recently i looked it up why is it blue cuz i havent seen any of that anywhere. I didnt know its super rare that there's only a hundred of it world wide
Top games I miss here in the comments are; FIFA14, Football Manager13, Monster Hunter unite, X-men legends2, Tekken: Dark Res., Gran Turismo, GTA: China Town, MGS: Peace Walker, Tactics Ogre, Syphon Filter, Disgaea. It depends a bit on what game category you like most.
PSP has great JRPGs. Final Fantasy 1-4 are on it (5-9 if you count the ps1 versions) Then you have Crisis Core and Kingdom Hearts Birth By sleep and Dissidia games. Then Breath of Fire 3, Tales of Eternia and the Ys series and lets not forget the Persona games 1-3 are on it.
SuperiorBryce98 agreed. love the vita and I call BS on the "No games" argument ppl make. but PSP still had the better library between the two. same way the DS has a better library than the 3ds
Just got mine, fucking PERFECT these days especially since you can play so much on it now with custom firmware. I can see why people in the past shat on it, but man it really was ahead of it's time.
SZF123456 I got a Xperia play......the Xperience was horrible and sadly not what I expected, really dissapointed. Part of it was due to the fact that it had a custom firmware and that psxe ( ps one emulator ) runs like crap despite me watching reviews in which it runs like butter. The only thing worth playing is snes and Gba < :)....but the headphone jack is broken. . . . bought off Amazon for $50. I regret my desicion but regardless I still achieved my goal of figuring how well it fit in the hand. this is long.
BROOKLYNDJICEMAN can u pleaseeee explain to me what to download for like neo geo and snes?...I am terrible with computers and tried to download files and messed up.
Haven't had a psp in a solid 10 years and someone just gifted me one for Christmas. I had mentioned wanting another one as well as collecting for the systems I grew up on now that I'm on my own so came back to this one
When you revisit the PSPGO in 2021.. holy crap it’s awesome. Do the M2 to Duo ribbon upgrade and you can load the whole library on an sd card. It’s the most portable of all PSPs and it feels great in the hands. Don’t get me wrong though, the Go is for on the Go. I still use my mint condition piano black 3000 with my authentic monster hunter grips whenever I’m rocking some RPGs at home 😎 Great video man even still, all these years later. Keep on rockin brotha! 🤘🏻
I remember about 10 years ago you could still buy PSP games at gamestop and they were dirt cheap! I Got a ton of games and played the hell out of them.
Some Attacks animations are really Slow. Don't know why. Gafgarion signature attack looks slow motion on the PSP. It was way faster on the PS1. First I thought it was my PSP processing power that was lacking but then I got the VITA e it has the Same problem. Attack Animations kinda a Lag.
I just found my psp a few days ago while going through my old stuff , surprisingly enough , it worked ! It was working fine even though I just turned it on after a few years . Will def check some games out and maybe buy some !
4:17 I LOVE that sound! That slot popping open is one of the most iconic things about the PSP and it always made the same sound every time. Nostalgia and joy!
Midnight Club: LA Remix is the best PSP racer in my opinion. Tons of cars, fully customizable. Massive open world. Killer soundtrack. And that classic arcade style driving with a realistic look.
I recently started to pick up some PSP games to build up a collection; many based on your recommendations such as Jeanne D'arc, Motorstorm: Arctic Edge, and Legend of Heroes: Trails of the sky. There are some that I'm just not interested in like Locoroco and Patapon, but your picks seem to coincide with those that almost consistently pop up in must play or greatest game lists online. You have an awesome collection and seem like a fun guy I'd love to meet in person. I am almost in my forties and I'm glad to know that there are others my age that enjoy the PSP as much as I do.
Believe it or not, one of my favourite PSP games is the Star Wars: The Force Unleashed port. Imo, it's even better than the pc/console versions. It has so much content, highly recomment it!
I remember going on UA-cam and subscribing to your channel first. I was stoked that I left a comment with a question and you replied the same day. I was blown away just by your collection, at the time! I love your channel and videos brother
Games people should get on psp. -God of war series. Amazing on psp -Tony Hawk Underground 2 Remix -Ratchet And clank Size matters -if you like gta series then gta series on psp. I agree racing games are fun. Madden was fun.
The best thing about the PSP was besides the games is definitely the modding. Being able to save loading time by putting them on a chip you can even shrink the size a little & save loading time or shrink them a lot and have similar loading times. You can take you old PSX games and convert them to ISO's and run them and there is a near unlimited amount of apps for them. I had a drum machine, a guitar effects processor and a mixer, for instance. The open source community was huge and I'm sure you can still find thousands of apps for them. More emulators than I can count too. However, I wish they would have kept the IR interface. It's nice to be able to change the channel at the Dr.'s office. I still have a 1000 just because of the universal remote capability, although I can't find codes lists anymore. ...any help would be appreciated.
So good thank you! Just got into collecting the psp after years of not having one, had one on launch day as well, stood in line like Reggie! I’ve got one of each of all the models including the e1000 “street”. Thanks again, love the content!
I really liked Ratchet and Clank: Size Matters and Castlevania: Dracula X Chronicles back then! I still play Castlevania from time to time. Also, Persona 3 Portable was good, too!
NightcoreCentral It has plenty of platformers, but more importantly IMO, the Zalda franchise. I do have quite a few RPG's for it, but in fairness I think I have more JRPG's on my PSP.
I LOVE this video. The only criticism and problem that I've found in this video, which is amazing again lol just want to mention that I highly appreciate your content, is the issue of region benefits and pitfalls. Its been a task to find out more about this topic. There's actually a 1000 model and a 1001 model. Probably more but those are the US and Japan models. The digital storefront I believe is different as well and I think you can't watch movies in different regions. Its confusing and not really mentioned anywhere online. UMD also drained battery life more than the Vita because of the physical disc drive. But this video is so cool to watch and go back in time.
The PSP is tied with the GBA SP for my favorite handheld, and both for completely different reasons. I still play with both of them, usually at least weekly.
Late last year I found a PSPGO at a thrift store for like $15. No cables, no idea if it worked. Bought a charging cable online and...it is ALWAYS being used! My BF and I use it (and our PSTV) for our PSone games we bought off the store, as well as other PSP games we've picked up on sales in the store. It's a bit of a pain to add games to it now that they've discontinued the store directly to the GO, but it's small enough to throw in a pocket (instead of a bag/purse needed for the 3DS/Vita/Switch) and pull out while waiting.
I would've gotten a psp go if it weren't for the PPSSPP emulator.. I mean I can play psp games in 1080p on my phone (and my laptop) and it's just amazing. Persona 3 portable and gran Turismo looks amazing on that emulator
Ive owned pretty much every console and have an xbox one at the moment soon ill get the series x but i had the best memories on the psp. I recently got the emulator on my phone and downloaded all my favorite games from back then. I haven't had this much fun gaming in a very long time
How can you do a PSP buying guide and not mention Darkstalkers Chronicle: The Chaos Tower. That is such a great fighting game with tons of content, tons of gameplay options. It's more or less a best of collection of all DS games and revisions. You can choose which version (moveset of which game) of the character you want to play, adjust the speed of the fights. And it has some nice settings for beginners such as the ability to turn on auto-combos or a simplified control scheme. And it looks amazing! Weird Reggie didn't mention it, I am sure he knows it
Still have my 1001 from 2005/2006 timeframe. Bought it for working in oilfield and expected wait times on location. It just stayed home. Still works whenever I pull it out, and recently started to look for UMD’s to build up a collection. Awesome

of course it is i still play it, and just finished the MGS peace walker completely. It was like the best game i have played, wanted that game to be on the list instead of portable ops cuz peace walker was better
@JINNN Yeah!
Cheers if you do.
honestly, the psp go was born to be jailbroken XD
Cheshire Billy how much is a PSP go now
Michael holben probably 30 to 40 dollars
I got it for free
good for you
Michael holben 100 now
Who else plays there psp in 2018? I still play mine🔥 my psp 3000 is still alive
Just got done with a session of Burnout Legends, PSP kicks ass
Me with psp 2000,3000, e1000, psp go and vita... I love sony handhelds
Bought a psp 1000 for 20 bucks, I'm loving it.
Just reactivated a 1000 for retrogaming. The analog stick went insane and i can't find local workshops that fix it so i went for the the JoySens solution. It's fine
it's almost 2020 and i only got my first psp last week. such a great console.
i also have the silver model
A1RA i got a silver psp 3000 this month
A1RA lol I just bought the white 2000 yesterday
i got a black psp 1000 today
Where did you buy it?
My brother in law traded me his PSP 2000 for a 6 pack. Best 7 dollars ever spent!
I actually prefer the 1000 mainly because of its tank build quality. I know there is no TV output but it doesn't matter much to me.
Dokuro Chan I just got a 1002 (some replacement batteries for the ready-to-explode one it came with won't arrive until August, :-( ). But it has the TV connection next to the headphone jack that's only supposed to be on the 2000. Any idea what the deal is there?
just snagged a 3000 of a kid for 25$ and 3 games for 9$ ;)
Just got the pearl white psp go. And modded it. Playing dissida with the dlc thst didn't release her. And megaman legends :)
Love games like Syphon Filter, Loco Roco, Patapon, Lumines, Echochrome, Monster Hunter Freedom and Persona 3 Portable.
love this what a Christmas Treat! When you have Reggie its magic.
+Ro S Reggie and I recorded another EPIC PICKUPS video the same day... Coming soon!
+MetalJesusRocks hay can u still get games for the psp go???
I love how authentic his videos are.
Wow, you've turned me into a PSP fanatic, and my favorite model is the 3000, I'll have to search local thrift stores and game stores for one
Same!
Why hasn’t Microsoft made made a handheld? I just thought of that.
From what I remember according to former Xbox team members, Microsoft was looking into getting into handhelds but for one reason or another they scrapped it.
They saw that Sony was struggling to take market share away from Nintendo handhelds and mobile gaming with phones became big right around the time they were considering it as well.
There is a Microsoft handheld it's called projectxcloud
the meme factory they are still populair and make lots of money
the meme factory
That doesnt matter to “casual gamers” us “real gamers” dont like them yeah
But they make a ton of money regardless just because we dont like them doenst mean they arent succesfull
This fucking beast of a machine is the most OG thing ever owned
I bought a PSP last year to test games to resell for it and that was it, I had no interest in the system really, until I found out it can do remote play with my PS3 and I can now play all of my PS1 games anywhere in the house, and I soft modded it to so I can play my retro games on the go. I love that thing now!
Man you inspired me to get back into collecting and you have been a ton of help with so many games and consoles. I appreciate your work
Dude, you are the only likeable reviewer on UA-cam. Keep up the killer job man.
I just ordered a Snow White E1000.
I'm a rebel.
I just ordered a 1001K model even though I'm already have a 3000 model.
Original model remained my dream model for some reason it just looked and built better than slim models.
Hell yeah 1000 is the best built like a tank try dropping the 2 and 3 thousand and no more psp lol
You got it?
The E1000 model isn’t even that bad
Coming back to this after watching it 8 years back. This video was the reason I started collecting for the PSP, and game collecting in general! I currently have a little over 150 psp games, thanks MJR and Reggie!
I've been with the PSP since the beginning.
Woah! I seriously have not seen/heard of the PSP E-1000! I learned something new (just like Reggie) from this video after all.
I remember when I got my psp, I blew all my money on a memory card and had to wait for 3 allowances before I could afford a game.
I bought a bundle that came with two games a memory card and a movie
why the hell you buy it without game? jailbreak all that shit..
@@campkira Assuming this was when OP was younger, back in the day it wasn't as easy as it is today, even with the pandora battery it wasn't something a kid could do
That’s exactly what I would do even knowing I would have to wait a while to get a game
moded my PSP, and i love it, it's great
FreshGaming123456 how
TrueBlueMeepMorp Custom Firmware
FreshGaming123456 *my uncle is getting me Psp soon so how do I mod it*
Just type "PSP CFW" in UA-cam
I think the only way you can really mess it up is if you disconnect it from power. It is pretty easy to do you just need to find the software or files to make a magic memory stick and buy a pandora battery or make one.If you make the memory stick you will need very basic coding experience.Making a pandora battery is harder. I would definitely try to just find someone on craigslist that will let you use theirs or buy it for 20 dollars.
It's a good thing you brought up Daxter I remember getting that as one of my first 2 games for the PSP.
Death Jr. is definitely a hidden gem of a game for the psp.
2021 and I’m still playing mine. Such an amazing system man!!!
OMG if any of you guys watching this get one of these systems, I highly recommend you pick up a copy of Twisted Metal: Head On, it will not dissapoint
I’m just now watching this and I’m so happy I kept all my psps throughout the years and games. Just whipped them out and gonna start playing !!
absolutely love my psp. bought my first in 08. then another one in 2010 and had it ever since. no problems (knock on wood). i only have 4 games that i play: gta vc stories, socom ftb3, armored core ff, and gran turismo.
All they should had done was a PSP with a second analog stick and much beefier specs.
it'll make the games run slower. Not THAT much, but you'll notice
That's what they done *facepalm*
Visa fuckedup they didnt need to add touchscreen , who the fuck needs touch screen this aint smartphone goddamn
#BringPSPsBack
Great video guys. After owning a PSP 2001 model more than a decade ago, I’m getting a silver 2001 psp again and I wanted to see if I made a good choice to get back to the PSP and I immediately remember of this video and now I’m glad I got the 2001 model. Thanks for the great video guys! You guys are awesome 🤘🏽
Got a PSP-3000, still kicking and is my emulator handheld now. Screen is much better, love how more colorful it is versus the 1000 model.
In my opinion the 1000 model last longer
Great video. I bought a PSP 1000 and 3000 just to play Gradius Collection. Trying to buy a PSP is tricky these days, as most of them are beat up, 'modded, partially defective or all three. My two units aren't perfect so I'm still looking for a solid, 100% functioning unit. Keep up the good work Metal Jesus!
myk sanchez wow really? I guess I got lucky with my 3000
Ah, I traded my mint condition 3ds with lots of excursive games for a psp e1000 with a 4gb memory stick with a psp case and 4 games, daxter, resistance retribution, Disney Ratatouille and Jak n Dak.
You can revert a modded psp. I got a 2000 version that was moded but I couldn’t play my legit games. So I managed to revert it.
@@Maria_MMC_TTV I also was lucky with a 3000, then. Only some visual things, but mechanically its 100% fine
Daxter is fantastic
I bought daxter on a road trip from a GameStop we stopped at for $3 and got hooked. Beat it on that same road trip!
Playing that right now. lol!
I've beat that game so many times
New suscriber from the UK and I think you guys are ace, very relaxed and informative.
Love the PSP I have over 280 games and about 500 UMD movies such a fantastic handheld. 🤘🏻
Superr
i bought a blue psp in 2018 and love the thing it gets played daily tbh,,great video metal,,reggie is a cool guy too,,keep up the good work,,currently playing motorstorm looks amazing,,peace
TorqueEmUp oh I still have one of those slide out phones. I mean they work but they are so uncomfortable to use
They didn't forget to mention it, they just didn't know. They didn't even own a GO
@@davidantonio8798 which is ironic because the Dock for the PSpgo has become one of the centerpieces for PSP collecting, its one of the more rare and expensive than the system itself and most of its game sealed
It's easy for people to scoff at this with modern-day graphics. But at the time the only other handheld was the game Boy advance. So this looked like PS2 graphics versus SNES graphics with the gbs it was mind blowing.
And ds
The PlayStation Portable came out after tthe Nintendo DS
I was a DS kid growing up, and my memories with that system are fantastic, but I always thought the PSP was amazing. I finally ordered one just the other day and I’m so excited to experience it!
I used to have a light blue PSP - 3k back when I was in High School. Some fucker stole it from my bag though. I miss that thing ;-;
I know how you feel. Sort of. I got my GBA SP stolen in like 5th grade... At least my copy of Pokemon Sapphire wasn't in it. Just Yoshi's Island, which I now have on my 3DS.
bro get a psp and mod it. I play yoshis island on my psp with an emulater
speaking of blue i missed my blue playstation but got stolen by this technician i brought into. Then recently i looked it up why is it blue cuz i havent seen any of that anywhere. I didnt know its super rare that there's only a hundred of it world wide
I bought one of those this week I always wanted it. We need to get you another one.
Chirunobyl Same thing happened a shithead stole it from my bag
When.Reggie said the last game is an RPG, I KNEW it would be Trails...
Ha! We think alike
This has a better library than the vita tbh
SuperiorBryce98 yup unfortunately 😕
SuperiorBryce98 agreed. love the vita and I call BS on the "No games" argument ppl make. but PSP still had the better library between the two.
same way the DS has a better library than the 3ds
No
Mostly, because allot of Vita games were just PS3 games, only hand held. :/
Exactly, that's what I've been trying to say.
Really two pleasant guys to listen to. Rare on YT these days
Man Sony really gotta make another handheld, it‘s been so long.
i LOVE my psp gos (i have 2) these things are a hackers dream. i have all my emulators on them
Me too!
ive got a white go that i bought for 50$
Just got mine, fucking PERFECT these days especially since you can play so much on it now with custom firmware.
I still use my mint condition piano black 3000 with my authentic monster hunter grips whenever I’m rocking some RPGs at home 😎
Great video man even still, all these years later. Keep on rockin brotha! 🤘🏻
Just got a used PSP rewatching with joy this video for great advices !
Hey i got a 3001!
I remember about 10 years ago you could still buy PSP games at gamestop and they were dirt cheap! I Got a ton of games and played the hell out of them.
"Final Fantasy Tactics: War of the Lions" is amazing to play on the system.
I liked jeanne darc a little more, but yes its fantastuic and the best verison of tactics
You just blew out my pockets!!!! I'm now a PSP nut!
I just found my psp a few days ago while going through my old stuff , surprisingly enough , it worked ! It was working fine even though I just turned it on after a few years . Will def check some games out and maybe buy some !
4:17
I LOVE that sound!
I have been crushing on the PSP again. Feels good to go back to classics
I've got my psp 2000 modded, love backing up my games and movies to the card and playing it all on the big screen
That sounds great
love Reggie and you doing videos together. awesome combo-o-o-o.
I'd say it's very worthwhile to buy both the PSP version and the Ultimate Sith Edition for (then) next-gen consoles.
The Problem for me is the framerate
I could watch your videos all day!! Keep it up, MetalJesus!!
I remember going on UA-cam and subscribing to your channel first.
I was stoked that I left a comment with a question and you replied the same day.
I was blown away just by your collection, at the time!
I love your channel and videos brother
Games people should get on psp.
-God of war series. Amazing on psp
-Tony Hawk Underground 2 Remix
-Ratchet And clank Size matters
-if you like gta series then gta series on psp.
I agree racing games are fun.
Madden was fun.
death jr. Little big planet. Persona 2, spiderman 3, the Crash bandicoot games. Too much awesome 3d plaatformers and JRPGs
The best handheld console period.
+Doom Gal Nope. Still an amazing system thought!
Maybe the coolest, but IMO the library for the 3ds makes it the most practical and best.
+Teflon Vaughn but the 3DS has almost nothing but RPGs...
NightcoreCentral It has plenty of platformers, but more importantly IMO, the Zalda franchise. I do have quite a few RPG's for it, but in fairness I think I have more JRPG's on my PSP.
Teflon Vaughn NGL but never liked Zelda.. I preferred something like the Warioland games and theres none to be found on the 3DS
I still play with both of them, usually at least weekly.
and now with CFW you can play GBA game son PSP making it just the best handheld of all time
Late last year I found a PSPGO at a thrift store for like $15.
I haven't had this much fun gaming in a very long time
Cool! I still have Silent Hill Shattered Memories for PS2.
i recommend god of war series (the two games), 3rd birthday, crisis core and kingdom hearts birth by sleep
Weird Reggie didn't mention it, I am sure he knows it
For those with a Vita wanting to play a lot of these old PSP games, the Adrenaline emulator is great.
My favorite psp is the 1000 because of the quality.
Still have my 1001 from 2005/2006 timeframe. Bought it for working in oilfield and expected wait times on location. It just stayed home. Still works whenever I pull it out, and recently started to look for UMD’s to build up a collection. Awesome
How could you mention Portable Ops but not Peace Walker smh
and crisis core!
Labrecteck Yeah that's another great one
To be fair Metal Gear Acid is okay whereas Metal Gear Acid 2 is actually a really decent game.
Adam The Gamer Nobody was even talking about Acid.
portable ops is still a psp exclusive, whereas peace walker got console ports
