Way to be super transparent about the gains and process of throwing these coils in! I wish it was that easy on the hellcats! 🔥
If the Hellcats receives the same benefits, I’m game! Definitely helped on my 3.6 Pentastar!
@@aj_hlct6230 I have a set that’s about to go on! I’m excited!
@@BOOSTEDLUCKEY Nice! I’ll keep an eye out for the results.
Bruh! I'm subbed to luckey haha 👍 keep doing your thing,
@@BOOSTEDLUCKEY Any difference when you put them on?
I got these for my v6 and gained an average of 2-2.5mpg, according to my dash/computer HUD. Its an awesome product@
You guys r killing it
Ordered mine I’ve had the coils on the v6 and they worked so I know these are legit 20whp gain with my other mods would be dope
Definitely a great buy with the the spark plugs and diablo tune. My scatpack is pushing 444hp on the dyno.
This video sold me, going to buy them now lol been thinking about it, but this sold me
As the owner of a bunch of Toyota products, and now an SRT8... Who found Ripp years ago with my 3.8l Eclipse. Please make a supercharger WITH a tuning package (vttuner) for the 2UZ stuff, the V8 4runner/GX470 community will buy it if it works and isn't janky. The missing key has always been tuning, especially trans. Factory pistons may only me good for 3-4psi but when you're driving a 6000lb rig with gear and 35s, it would help a lot. Trans tuning is HUGE alone.
Loving the videos! Wish you guys could tune my M3!
The dip in power is the variable length runner intake.
That is a beauty of an intake design, in my opinion.
So tempting for my RT!
Easy bolt on grabbing dormant efficient fun. The plugs and coils on my V6 were a huge change. HC is getting them now!
What plugs did you use? What gains did you see?
@@lur9586 I used the NGK iridium plugs as suggested and sold by Ripp. At first I only purchased the coils because I didn't want to waste too much money on something I might not notice. I watched Ripp's video's showing a 10rwhp gain with just the coils, they were the only one doing this and I liked the transparency. So I ordered and installed the coils. I was very impressed. The car had better throttle response, more and smoother mid- range pull, and as as the butt-dyno goes it felt stronger everywhere. Gas mileage improved a bit too, but I didn't buy it for that. I was having more fun so I bought the plugs too. I pulled out the cheap Champion plugs, installed the NGK and went for a drive. I instantly noticed more of a torque feel and smoothness. That's when I realized the Ripp coils and plugs were designed to work together. Together is when I saw the most gain, and for under 100 bucks for plugs I was pleased with it. I felt stupid not doing both st the same time because I basically had to do the same job twice. It was one of those "as long as I'm in there" moments, but like I eluded to, I was skeptical and cheap. Shame on me. Anyway, I found myself not over driving the car as much because it worked so much better. Then I got the exhaust. Wow. Another 11rwhp, more fun; the car drove like I wanted (expected) it to. But I liked stock quiet so I Dynomatted the trunk. For all 3 items, 21rwhp gain at the wheel, yeah, I could feel it. Later my credit got better and I got a Hellcat, but I still miss my V6. Great car. I hope this helps.
@@dmrobello9441 in this day and age, is it still affordable to afford a r/t scat pack? Like do you need to have a good annual salary to own one?

I just got a set of these for my 3.6 Charger alongside the NGK plugs. Review coming soon.

They work great. Just installed a set on my Scat. I can feel a big difference. Im 100 percent sure my 1/4 mile et will be better. This is a great mod !! Lightning fast shipping also. Great job Ripp !!!!!! 👍👍👍👍

I have a 2015 challenger with headers exhaust tune, would it make a difference adding these compared to stock??
When are you guys coming out with Jeep srt kits that can make big power ?
Unrelated question, is ripp superchargers working on 7.3 godzilla upgrades?
I cant wait my 6.1 to havethis
Always good to have an independent review not from the maker or those associated with the maker. 28 whp from coils alone is pushing it.
We do our best to test on cars with no other mods giving the result as we find them. At this point there over 10000 sets sold with over 200 positive reviews on our website.
How many volts are these coils rated at?
Answered my question
Wanna c if these make any power on a 2014+ lexus is350
Are these for the 392 motors in general? I have a 2016 Jeep SRT and would be interested in doing these down the road. I had your coil packs on my 3.6l charger and loved them.
Yep, will work on your vehicle. Please visit www.rippmods.com for more information on your vehicle or email sales@rippmods.com for more details
Yes. I've been waiting for this. Will this work with my 2013 challenger with the 6.4 Hemi

Love to install on my 2015 Durango the supercharger Kit , still waiting on $6k to appear on my bank account 😅
Hi, Will this Coils pack work on the 5th Gen Ram 1500 5.7 with Etorque? I am wondering if you guys already test it on that vehicle.
Hello Hector,
Yes these will certainly fit your Ram 1500.
So once adding these coils, what else needs to be done to the vehicle. Or is it a plug an play?
Hello @dtwn4573
That is a great question. Our coils are plug and play, as well as a stand alone mod, there is nothing that needs to be added, or changed, for these coils to be running correctly. If you have any additional questions, please email RIPPmods@RIPPmods.com, and we will gladly help you there.
is a tune required for these or can i just plug and play i cant be without a car for a few weeks to send PCM to hp tuners
Hello @lowridr2
That is a great question. Our coil packs do not need a tune, they are just plug-and-play parts, all bolt on. If you have any additional questions, please email RIPPmods@RIPPmods.com, they will be glad to help you there.
Do you back your product with any type of warranty cause sure you can increase performance but at what cost when you got a coil going out every 4 months
All of our product come with a one year warranty. If you have any more questions about the warranty process, please email sales@rippmods.com.
Did you have to change the spark plug gap? If you did change the gap what was it changed too.?
Hello @Williammchardy5157
Not at all. Unless the vehicle is supercharged, there is no gap required, just stock gap size. If you have any additional questions or need any clarification, please email RIPPmods@RIPPmods.com, we will gladly help you there.
So adding that mod made 30 HP alone or did you have to add fuel and timing with the mod and it made 30 extra if so then the dyno test should have been done the exact same way ????
No tuning done. That is mentioned in the video.
Was there more than one baseline dyno run? If yes was 418 the best run? Automatic or manual?
418whp was the first full throttle baseline run. We always do at least 3 to see how heat soak affects power loss then do at least 3 passes on any product we add as well. This vehicle is an 8 speed auto.
I have a 2013 JKU 6.4 HEMI swapped conversion from AMW already tuned at 505 crank horsepower. will these coil packs still increase my horsepower??
Certainly. As well as gain some much needed MPG on a 6.4 swapped JK
I've noticed that after installing the ripp coil packs and spark plugs that my speedometer is indicating my speed to be 2 or 3 numbers faster than what I'm actually going. Any suggestions on a solution
Please contact tech@rippmods.com, they should be able to help you there
Hi there..
Am wondering if your dealer in UAE "offroad zone" can provide us the supercharger. since there is no such product on there website!
Yes they are a dealer. Please contact them or if you would like to order directly email sales@rippmods.com
Why it void warranty
Do I have to reprogram my trinity tune if I want to install these coil packs in my 5.7?
No tuning needed, these are an easy bolt on.
I have a 392 hemi when I get the plugs from you guys what should I gap them at ?
Factory gap
Will you be making a bright finish red version of this product?
No, they only come in orange.
Would these work with a brisk non projected tip (colder plug) ? I assume so. But wanted to clarify. I run 350-400 shot of nitrous on a promax progressor / 440 stroker scatPack. About the only thing I haven’t looked in to. (Appreciate it in advance)
We have no experience with that specific setup however these are simply a stronger ignition coil. There is no reason they should not.
Appreciate the feedback, lol! For sure. Y’all arent in any way liable. Haha, common sense tells me I’ll be fine.. Just never hurts to ask Incase you’ve ever dealt similar stuff.
@@RIPPMODS hello 👋. The 30whp gain is with the stock tune (oem files) or did you guys tuned it?
@@srt392dodge9 Stock tune, this is our UPS drivers car, he continues to report solid MPG gain and throttle response. A tune can clean it up and smooth it out even further but not needed at this mod level.

Does it work on hellcats or just 6.4 engines
All 2005+ HEMIS. 5.7, 6.1, 6.2, and 6.4. Hellcat install is a bit more work as the coolant lines and AC lines are near the larger 6.2L valve cover.
Hi, should I unplug my battery before installing it? Would the ripp coil packs give me a check engine light?
You can, that will reset your vehicle adaptive parameters. No, you should not get a CEL with our products unless there us a real issue like a cracked spark plug or faulty coil.
@@RIPPMODS Gotcha, thank you!!!
Make eclipse superchargers again
Is there a possible ripp supercharger kit for the 6.4 in the works?
One already exists. The problem is, there's not much data out there to show the reliability of it over time. Only data for the 5.7. Which everyone knows the 5.7 can handle some boost. The 6.4 pistons can't. It's a dangerous game boosting the 6.4 without forging the pistons.
@@MrDionstarrr it’s dangerous boosting any hypereutectic pistons with the right fuel tables and stable fuel to begin with.
With the right mods, meaning ones that support high CFM over high boost. You can run it at 7 to 8 PSI all day with no issues engine wise.
Fuel is usually where most cheap out or forget first, and fuel starvation/ low quality is one of the fastest get detonation.🤷♂️
@@00mrvip00 but is it safe with forged piston
Do you guys have this for 6.1 hemi I got a Chrysler 300 srt8 2006 ?
Same coil, these are compatible with 5.7, 6.1, 6.2, and 6.4.
Want to buy some
Question will these burn my spark plugs faster and void warranty ?
Hello @user-ig2kw2ed4d
We sell sparkplugs on our website that are built to withstand the power behind the coil packs. We do recommend contacting your local dealer about if those parts void your warranty. If you have anymore questions, or need anymore clarification please contact RIPPmods@RIPPmods.com, they will be able to help you there.
would it be recommended to change out the spark plugs also?
We'd recommend changing them if they are near they're service interval.
The NGK iridium plugs make a big difference with the coil packs. Better driveability and more power everywhere. Ripp's tasteful modesty is underselling their product. The difference is HUGE and my gas mileage increased too.
@@dmrobello9441 thanks, looks like i'm getting the spark plugs also
@@dmrobello9441 I did some research about the sparkplugs. Ngk makes the plugs for mopar and i was told they are iridium. Since i only have 8k I don't think I would need to get new plugs
After installing these on a 6.4l charger does it have to be tuned?
No tuning needed, these are direct bolt on.
@@RIPPMODS thank you appreciate it!
What type of gas was used during the test?
This vehicle came to us with 93 and had that for both runs.
Would I need a tune to get the best out of these coils for my scatpack??
Tuning would allow you to gain more however this gain was made on a 100% stock vehicle with 2500 miles on it.
@@RIPPMODS how effective are these on the HC platform.
@@Toxik_Hellcat We have not had one in yet to see but considering the gains on a 6.4 and how easily Hellcats seem to make power with small bolt ons we definitely have high expectations.
Am I wrong or does it dip after 5500 rpm? On the last pulls? It seems like it goes lower than the stock pulls after 5500.
The top curves are torque and the bottom curves are horsepower. Both are running pretty equidistant above each other showing an even gain.
Can I be use in a scat wit nitrous Sistema?
2 step plugs

Will this set of coil packs work on my 2013 Ram 1500 with a 5.7 hemi I'm very interested in upgrading my trucks coil pack? Still running the OEM NGK spark plugs truck sits at 56,000 miles!!
Yes they are fully compatible with that vehicle.

Was it tested with OEM spark plugs or NGK?
OEM spark plug. The vehicle is exactly as it left the showroom floor 2500 miles ago.

Will this work for Hellcat motors?
Yes. It is a very tight install with the AC and coolant lines over both valve covers but they are compatible.

@@RIPPMODS so you have a boosted ram pushing 600 on ripp coil packs?
SRT cars and Jeep's making more.
That's the lowest baseline dyno pull I've seen on the 6.4. Generally they're in the 430hp range at the rear wheels.
It’s not a dynojet. It has resistance and the numbers are SAE corrected.
I've heard people get as low as 390 😬
@Speed Tube normally I’d agree but I’ve seen some videos of that myself, gotta remember it’s naturally aspirated and very susceptible to weather and DA. With a DA over 3700, yes I can see 390’s number as expected. Also it depends on how long ago the dyno was calibrated and how corrected for the run.
Your wrong.
It’s normally 85percent,485flywheel hp, ballpark 412 rwhp
I’m highly skeptical about this. 25wrhp from coil packs? Send me a set and I will dyno them on my car. My Scat is very modified, natural aspirated and revs to almost 8000 rpm!
I’m apart of a very large 392 hemi community. If it does work, I can guarantee more sales. And will even pay for mine if this claim is correct. If not, i’ll send them back.
Our coils are more powerful than stock and more consistent then the competition. Coils, in your case will help the mods you have for power, make the power more efficiently rather than add an additional 25. As is the case, when an engine is stock it was easy to be more powerful. So, are these better than the Sultans Of Spark coil packs? I was replacing spark plugs last week on my 06 6.1L SRT8 and noticed that 3 of the 8 SOS coils had cracks in the epoxy that is used to seal them, and majority of them looked overheated and deformed, so I purchased a set of these RIPP’s and will install tomorrow when not raining.
