If you or someone you know struggles with irritability, frustration, or anger, these principles and tools will help you (and them) navigate the challenges.
Thank you. I could practice accepting the experience or emotion I’m having, and also being courageous. But when someone isn’t fulfilling their promise/word (for example, not sending enough spousal support as promised), I feel Iike it is about that other person. Am I wrong?
Great question and sharing, thank you! We could say the situation definitely originates from the other person and it is, in fact, a highly infuriating one at that! First, when we accept the experience of anger, become clear what it is about, then soften into it, we can become clear on the appropriate actions for us to take. Then, and this is the secret key, the more we can transform that experience of anger/irritation into something more helpful like clarity, strength, fortitude, and empowerment we free ourselves from the shackles of circumstance creating us, and we start to create circumstance.
