No such thing as an entry level camera, I must say that as a photographer (Amateur) I have two Pro Nikon DSLRs that I use for Photoshoots and video I also have this Fujifilm camera and I cannot see much of a difference in photo or video quality so I think this camera is very capable of shooting weddings. I think it is more about the expertise of the photographer than the camera.
Fighting Arts of England sometimes it is nice to have a small, but very capable camera to throw in a small bag when out and about.
some camera is for efficiency on profession... but as a hobby... no need to be fancy...
Glad I saw this comment. Fellow Nikon DSLR shooter, been looking at getting one of these to have in the small every day bag so when I'm out and about and see something nice I can use more than my phone to take the photo, without having to bring the whole kit.

The only issue with weather sealing-which is very useful to have-is that unless you have a weather sealed body and lens, then you're not fully protected! There are some fantastic plastic, non weather sealed prime lenses out there, but you'll pay more for ones with some weather protection. As for the X-A5, it looks good, and has a bit more overall protection, in an ever ready case!! I think having a camera which is light weight and not quite up to professional build expectations is still ok for most of us. Better still bought on the second hand market. And having a camera that has interchangeable lenses-especially Fuji-and that great sensor, does mean you have a very portable, fun camera ready to deliver great quality photos. The superb optics make these X body cameras really appealing to the masses! We'll forget the almost pointless 4K-at least the HD video is ok!

Just got my first Fiji mirrorless! Bought a Fujifilm X-A3, will put up an unboxing video soon. Found one that was too cheap to pass over! So much cheaper secondhand than the newer X-A5 (I just wish the X-A3 had the mic input of the X-A5, but the X-A3 still has the good 24 megapixel sensor for photography)

Thanks for this. I have this camera and i am hoping to use it for recording my yoga classes at home and uploading them online.
Which settings would you recommend using?
hey, I would recommend recording at 1080p with shutter speed set to 1/50. Then aperture depending on how much you want in focus and ISO to brighten the image depending on your lighting conditions. As to picture profiles, probably keep them standard but also good to just record short clip in every one and compare. Pick one you like most

@@nrilivetv7375 it does HDMI out based on what ever is on screen, but i'd say this cam is more suitable for pictures than video.
