Finally, Fuji got some sense and made a camera available with the best screen design. Not new on the market of course - Panasonic has it for years - but new on the Fuji line. Hoping will became the standard for the rest of the X line.
The price of used x70 is still over $500 on ebay. There are great demands for compact camera. X-A7 is a smallest one in Fuji cameras but it is still too big to carry around easily. I am using Sony A5100 with X-T30 Even though I prefer photos of X-T30, mostly I use Sony A5100.
i love fujifilm for actually listening to their customer base.. people been wanting a flippy entry level camera that shoots 4k for vlogging and i think this camera is light and small enough for that! im just waiting on the xh2 ;)
OMG the LCD! Really love it and gonna be helpful on many angle of shoot. Hope can try this really soon, it will be great use as main cam to be youtuber/vlogger or travel shoot

That X-A7 is quite a versatile camera. Improve video AF, Side Flippy Screen and Mic Input is a big plus. Is the USB-C output also serves as a headphone out like the XT30's?

You have a wonderful voice for a radio broadcaster or a TV presenter. Enrol them and find out. Should have done some real-life captures and comparing with other models of the similar category (price range).

Great review. I have every xa camera. Was not impressed by xa3 or xa5. Hardly any difference in IQ compared with xa2. And the screen icon for over\under exposure on the xa3 is so tiny. I am looking forward to the xa7.
Im still using Sony A5000+kit lens and with my current budget i think i can get this camera for used condition, will it be a good upgrade from Sony A5000?
finally, a real, usable 4k still with RAW-friendly bayer sensor large vari-angle screen? i hope higher models also use that screen the controls are now mostly touchscreen very few physical controls still with 2.5mm jack
Until Fuji Can put a dedicated video record button! then I may think about it, when your on holidays I usually switch from Video to Stills quite often and its really annoying If I have to go into a drive setting to select video or stills, It just slows me down and I end up missing the shot.
3.5 inch with 16:9 aspect ratio is almost the same area as 3 inch with 4:3 aspect ratio. I guess you get a bigger image when shooting video but just like the sony cameras you get less when taking still shots (which are 4:3 anyway)
I have been looking to sell my X-T2 to go smaller, I was looking at the A5, but it was too slow. The A7 might be a reasonable housing for my XF glass if the E4 doesn't come soon.

No IS unless in the lens? I'm a Fuji fan (and user) it's 2019,almost 2020.Sorry Fuji some form of built in IS is pretty essential for Vloggers. Or is that for the MK 2? 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧

I hope all those features will be transferred into X-E4 and spiced by more advanced options from X-E3. That would be my ultimate everywhere camera.

Autofocus should be better than what you showed based on the fact its phase detect right? perhaps pre production firmware does not help here
