I own an X-A3. True, the auto-focus is very slow, and the ISO is limiting, but the 24Mb sensor is superb. I use mine with an 8mm Samyang, set at f5.6, focussed at infinity, and then taped with duct tape so the settings don't accidentally change when I take the camera out of my pocket. It is so small, I can hold it in the palm of my hand, and operate the shutter release with my thumb; which makes for some very stealthy street photography. In fact, an almost 180 degree view with the 8mm Samyang means there's not really any need to frame the shot. The great sensor will allow some cropping to get the pic you want. Totally silent in operation, and with up to 6 frames a second, it's the bargain of the century for ultra wide angle street photography. Thanks for sharing - your videos look great.
Grabbed an X-A7 with 33m 1.4 Viltrox lens for 500€ on eBay. First Fuji DSLM for me but surely won’t be my last. Besides the missing viewfinder I like it so much!
i recently just found our x-a2 camera stored away and decided to pick it up again, its insane to me how the photo's looked for an old camera, took it out yesterday to take pictures of friends and people, sparked my interest for photography again
I don't have an X-A camera, but I do have the X-A5's sister camera that is the X-T100. I've been considering getting one since I want an even smaller setup, but I kind of want one in black and only the X-A1 got that. Got some cheap fully manual lens since autofocus isn't Fuji's strong suit to begin with.
You should consider the Fuji X-M1. That’s a truly forgotten line of cameras. It’s like the X-A series but with excellent build quality. I know they made an all black version as well.
@@MatthewSnyderPhoto that's the first Fuji I looked into, but I passed it up since I could get an X-A5 for the same price, hell I could get an X-A20 for an even cheaper X-A5. However there's rumours of Fuji is reviving the X-M line, supposedly will be announced this month as the X-M5; if it's cheap and looks good (hopefully comes in all black), it'll be one serious consideration.
