OMG. The eating enough hits home for me. I've notice that I can eat a few bites and then I'm no longer hungry. Then an hour later I'm feeling snacky again. How can I train my body to eat larger regular meals?
I am trying to watch everything I eat and how much. It is difficult being in the situation I am in, but I found it so much easier. Some things confuse me like I do not over eat on junk food, but is it okay to drink a light beer or a glass of wine every so often? Or having a couple of your fave cookies once in a blue moon?
Not eating enough 10000%. I think all the weight ive put on in my adulthood is genuinely from yoyo dieting since trying to cut calories for prom as a teen at 115 lbs lol. The more i tried to cut the more ive gone up and down and all around and probably messed with my body’s ability to operate w a normal metabolism! Now I’m 27 and 40 lbs up! Ive been really intrigued by stephanie buttermores journey because I truly wonder if I was to just stop trying to eat less/ forgetting to eat on random busy work days and then getting mcdonalds would I actually probably finally lose weight? It’s for sure hard when you have trouble losing weight to convince yourself to eat more though.
Love Sweat Fitness thanks for all your great content! I purchased your Hot Body nutrition plan for vegetarians a while back. I have since switched to a vegan diet. How does that work into your nutrition plan? thanks
To anyone who's reading this: You are strong. You are beautiful. You are powerful. Remind yourself that working out is not a punishment for what you ate, but a celebration of what your body can do! I hope you have a fantastic day :))
Please do a part 2! I really love the last reason about not eating enough! Sad but true in my weight loss journey. My personal trainer is always getting on me about not eating. But I've learn as I been going through this is that I really don't have an appetite for food much. So I'm really trying my best to make changes.
#4 - muscle vs fat really hit home. I've started my weight loss journey and I'm nearly 4 weeks in. I can see some minor changes in my body and I feel a lot stronger and flexible (exercise has been consistent but diet isn't exactly clean yet, taking it slow ^.^) But I've noticed the scales go up. I know I haven't eaten any different than I did prior to working out where my weight was pretty consistent, so realising that this part of the marathon of this journey is where my body is adjusting and building muscle has really helped my peace of mind. Deffo motivated to start eating cleaner to compliment my workouts. Also #6 - I need to deffo eat more nutritional foods for energy! Thanks for the vid, helped me on this low point
Thank you for calling out the fake sugars! As someone allergic to them, I always had issues with weight loss plans. Now I know just to cut back or use natural sugars!
I did intermittent fasting…eat Plant based, glutton free, no sugar, Coconut & Almond flour, honey & maple syrup for sweetener, plant based milk, no meat.
Beyond being tired, can you tell us other symptoms you had when you felt exhausted? Did you have body aches, joint pain, breathing issues? If so, how did you combat it?
#6! I messed up my metabolism over the years by restrictive dieting. Now my coach gets on me to eat more and my hunger is back! I haven’t lost weight but I’ve lost inches - so crazy!
I know you hear this everywhere and might not believe it, but water really makes a HUGE difference in waist size. I drunk a ton of water in the last few days and my waist is legit 2.5 inches smaller!
Was doing Keto and IF .... didn't work as well as I thought. Starting having insomnia, couldn't think clearly was tired .. Had to stop just started introducing healthy small amounts of carbs and I'm starting to feel better. Doing IF but just 16/8 trying to relax my body was in constant stress. Taking supplements now for bed time..Insomnia is getting a little better but still have a way yo go.
I'm diagnosed with hypothyroidisim since I was 11 too, and polysystic ovairian syndrome when I was 21 years old. (like one of them was not enough right!). In 2019, I decided that I'm going to stop all medications and honestly I didn't feel much of a difference between the period of me taking the medication regularly and the period where I stopped. The only difference I can talk about is my cycle that become crazier than it used to be. However, fatigue level, constipation joint pain, and extream mood swings are all the same. Today I decided to give medicine another try, so I booked an appointment with a doctor and I did the blood work and hopefully this time everything is going to be better.
I started my work out since May but until now i haven't lose my weight. But i can see my muscles are getting stronger. Because i noticed my pants is more hard up to fit before its not.
Great video!!! My biggest mistake was not noticing how many carbs I was eating in a day, even in salads and coconut water, it all added up and didn’t allow me to lose weight 😬 and how many products have sugar in them, including things I thought were healthy like yogurt etc, now I get unsweetened everything, and natural sugars for the most part 👌🏼
Abs are made in the kitchen, but also are you taking measurements? The scale lies!! My friend lost 4 inches off of her waist before the scale moved a single pound
I started measuring instead of just looking at the scale, I started 4 months ago at 33% body fat and I'm now at 23.6% and I am currently 3 pounds less than when I started!!! The scale lies!

Hello! I have just come across your channel and I just wanted to say, 3 vlogs in and you have helped me refresh my nutrition (especially the low calorie sugar alcohol effect). I love your channel and thankyou for all the information 😊
Hello There! I am writing this from Istanbul, the other side of the world. I have been doing a gluten-free diet and I eliminated processed food and sugar for the last 2 months and I plan to lose 10 kgs. I know this is exactly what not to do in your video. But I am obviously a carb-addict and at least for a while I need to keep these junk out of my body. Even if I eat one cookie, I won’t be able to stop myself after that. At least this is how I feel 😒 And meanwhile, I am not losing weight at the speed I expected and I was feeling down. I had these sabotage ideas coming up like “ehh what the heck, you are 43 years old, will you be a model? I started my journey 4 months ago and so far have lost 30lbs with maybe another 14 to go. Working out 3 times a week. I feel so much better and actually enjoy nourishing my body well. For me calorie counting works but it isn't something I want to for the rest of my life as it is all consuming and you can get obsessed if you aren't careful. I certainly do not starve myself but I am aware of what is sustainable for the long term. I eat all food groups and I choose to eat well. No food is bad food. I just choose what my body thrives off. I monitor how my food makes me feel. One thing I will say though is that when you first start out is track what you eat for a week. Keep a food diary or get an app. Actually see what nutients/cals you are consuming. I was in complete denial and this was the only way I was going to change my habits. Actually see the data in black and white. I too was drinking wine most days and skipping meals and not eating the best I could. Once you start you won't look back x
Katie, you are awesome!! Your videos and content are always inspirational and afull of wisdom! I have learned so much from your videos. I purchased your Hbmp and it totally changed my nutrition journey. Thank You for these videos! I get so excited when I see a new one! Can’t wait for part 2!!
Can you do a video on why one would stop growing muscle? No matter what I do for exercise or how well I diet...my body never grows muscle. A few years ago I didn't have this problem and I just turned 30 so I thought it was because of age but what do I need to do to change this? Is it hormonal? Stress? Disease? I am 5'3, slimmer- size 6...could I just have too much fat for the muscle to not feel so soft?
Do you have muscle fatigue from your hypo and has medication helped/how do you manage that with working out? Also, THANK YOU for talking about getting enough food! Not enough UA-camr's talk about this and it's SO true.
Oh my yes I have started logging my food intake.. starting the meal plan for hypo today and I hoping to see some more results... food is my weakness for real.. love alls the foods and wine.. thanks for sharing your wisdom ❤
I recently went to a holistic nutritionist and was told that because of my age over 45 I need to stop eating fruit as it causes insulin spike and cortisol. So sad as I gave up sugar since January and now I have to give up all fruit as it’s only way to have no belly pooch fat. No fruit no grains or bread ect
I’ve been working out for 6 months 3 times a day I walk 5 miles hiit and strength train. I do jump rope boxing and sprints. I eat right on macros more days then not. I drink water. Yet I’ve lost 6lbs I fasted for months. Nothing so then I did bmr calories nothing now I’ve upped carbs.
@@ceedubbb it’s exhausting I don’t lose hope but it’s like I’m just asking for a little win to fuel me. Im gonna try a trainer program for 6 weeks. So keep your fingers crossed.
That is so tough! There is a possibility that an underlying health condition could be hindering you from losing more weight. That was my case with my thyroid issues.
@@LoveSweatFitness I’ve every time I asks a doctor they just say your probably not following the right plan. Or another doctor said I never met anyone that wanted to have something wrong with them because my blood test came back ok. Idk what to do at this point I’ve kinda just become comfortable with it and guess I’m just stuck in the body
@@alyssareach5287 ugh that is super frustrating I'm sure! I would consider finding a new doctor but also, it could be that you are stressing yourself out or eating too low of calories for too long. Your body will get comfortable (or freak out and hold onto weight) and you need to switch things up. The stress about it along can increase cortisol and cause weight gain/you to hold onto it. If you are literally working out 3 times a day I would assume you definitely are not getting enough calories. You body NEEDS fuel to burn.
Omg, the last one! Every diet I’ve ever done I felt like I would need to just eat less and cut eating all together but it really did messed me up. I’d not eat and then when I would finally eat, it would be junks! Ty for these videos 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻
Can you please show us how to make your peanut butter cups? If you already have a vid over it, please direct me to the link! I just discovered your channel so I’m making time to go through your vids 💖
My weaknesses and the things that I think sabotage me is my Diet Coke addiction and I eat healthy during the week and then the weekend hits and I lose my mind and I end up eating crap. How do I first, stop with the Diet Coke (I drink 3 or more a day) and how do I stop sabotaging the weekend, but feel like I am not depriving myself?
You could try having a smaller portion each time, ie a can instead of a bottle, or a small glass instead of a can. And put the other half somewhere inconveniently far away from you, so you have to make an effort to get more. It helped me break my tendency to devour a large bar of chocolate in one hit, so it might help you? Good luck!
Hi Cheryl! I think replacing diet coke with something like Lacroix would be a great start. If you have a bad weekend, pick right back up and keep going. Don't let a bad day stop you from keeping up with a healthy lifestyle. We are all human and it happens! Cheering for you girl! xo
Thanks Katie for sharing this video, unfortunately I’m 48 and just went through menopause early I eat healthy and exercise daily and couldn’t loose but one or two pounds then regain them back it’s so annoying ! I really need to loose 25 lbs would be ideal, I don’t drink anything but a lot water , sometimes very rare I drink tea and NO Alcohol ever for me. Xx
Hi Angela! Have you tried my meal plans? They really help with getting a healthy lifestyle going :) my.lovesweatfitness.com/collections/nutrition-plans
Oh my gosh, yes! I am hooked on Stevia big-time. I cut out sugar years ago and have slowly become very reliant on stevia. Now I find myself craving things with Stevia all the time, like I’m getting a dopamine reward from it or something. And as a result of this my eating has increased and feels more out of control. I’ve noticed simultaneously that my weight is going up. Time to cut back on the sweet stuff 😩
Girl! You need to try my Sugar Detox plan. It will totally help with cravings.my.lovesweatfitness.com/collections/nutrition-plans/products/sugar-detox-guide
I also have Hashimoto’s and hypothyroidism and I was wondering what new medication are you on and what dosage please. I love all of your videos as I know you can relate to hypothyroidism and the difficulties in losing weight and feeling like a normal person
Love Sweat Fitness thank you so much for this great video! I’m not fat at all, but coz i’m active too. But i find that i get tired easily when working out. And the hairfall is just horrible :(
I have a 12th reason. Sooo I was doing everything right literally made drastic changes and my weight would not budge. After all these strict dietary changes, I went into the Dr one day thinking I had at least lost 7 8 lbs worst case 5 and my number was actually the same exact # it was the previous month. I couldn’t believe it. I made even more changes and restrictions and added in 30 minute Pilates walking 10k steps a day every day. Still nada. Turns out my metabolism was messed up from dieting pretty much constantly the last decade (prior to my 30lb weight gain in the last 2 yrs) and was I had just been diagnosed with hypothyroid the year before. So between those 2 issues I have extreme difficulty. So yes that’s another reason - if you’ve been a big dieter your whole life it will be a lot harder for you since that will have slowed down your metabolism greatly. So Now to combat all that, I do alternate day fasting 40 hours i fast and 8 hours I eat keto. So I had to go to that extreme to finally see results now. It hasn’t been easy.
Hey Katie! I was just wondering how many calories you would suggest I take in to lose weight but still build muscle? I've currently been eating 1,000 to 1,300, is this a healthy amount?
Hi babe! I try not to focus on calorie intake and focus on eating healthy, whole clean foods! :) Counting those numbers used to drive me crazy in the past!

Could you write down the list please here? It’s easier to go through them and more helpful 🧡
Yes!!! I add WAY to much sugar in my coffee! I'm trying to change it slowly.😊💕
Thank you Katie!!
❤️❤️❤️
Honestly since I started following Love Sweat Fitness I've felt so much more motivated
I'm so happy to hear that!! 💗
Needless to say, if you're having 2 or more glasses of wine every night, calories are your smallest problem...😨😨😨
Totally agree w you…those sugar free chocolates will jack your stomach up. Great video ❤😊. Love listening to your tips 😊.
Excellent video
Thank you :)
I am so happy to hear that, Julia!! What are your favorite meals from HBMP?! :)
Thank you so much for this video! You inspire me every time.
Good question!! Thanks for the recommendation :)
Do you have muscle fatigue from your hypo and has medication helped/how do you manage that with working out?
Also, THANK YOU for talking about getting enough food! Not enough UA-camr's talk about this and it's SO true.
Hi Rebekka!! My medication and nutrition definitely help with muscle fatigue. I'm so glad you liked the vid!! xo
Fantastic video Katie❤️❤️
NOT EATING ENOUGH! HELL YEH GIRL
I know this has been quite awhile since this video, but the part 2, 5 reasons why link isn't working. Is there somewhere else I can find this?
Oh my yes I have started logging my food intake.. starting the meal plan for hypo today and I hoping to see some more results... food is my weakness for real.. love alls the foods and wine.. thanks for sharing your wisdom ❤
Absolutely, Mary! You got this, excited to hear how you like the hypo plan :)
Hi babe! It's true even though fruit has natural sugar, it's still sugar. The best ones for you are blackberries, kiwis, and blueberries. :)
but the same is with photos.. sometimes it's also frustrating you really have to set a day when exactly taking pictures
That is so true!
Absolutely loved this video 😍😍 it was very helpful!!
I'm so glad you liked it!! :)
Thank you Katie love your videos❤️
I felt so happy to watch your video.Cause i had the same problems but now i'm felling so powerful thank you love from brazil
What do you think about superfood pills? Should i stop Taking them?
I think those can beneficial for sure!
Oh em gee! I’m with you. I’m becoming so frustrated and discouraged :(
@@ceedubbb it’s exhausting I don’t lose hope but it’s like I’m just asking for a little win to fuel me.
Couldn't have come at a better time Katie thanks so much x
Always! ❤️
I just wanted to tell you I love you and your videos 😘
Aw thx!
I just found your page and I’m so excited to watch your videos! Subscribed! 😄🤩
so happy you're here!
Your link for printable 11 reasons and for 7-11 video does not work anymore- how do I find the next video and all the reasons please?
Thanks Katie 💕
Loved ❤️ this video so informative
Could you do some AIP or autoimmune protocol recipes once in awhile? Like anti inflammatory recipes.
Love this idea! Thanks for sharing :)
Great, honest video. Love the content. 😄
I appreciate that! Thank you :)
Love this!!! Do you mind my asking where your couch is from??!
Omg, the last one!
Every diet I’ve ever done I felt like I would need to just eat less and cut eating all together but it really did messed me up. I’d not eat and then when I would finally eat, it would be junks! Ty for these videos 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻
So glad it helped!
I found out I have hypo two years ago and I’m struggling…… I love I found someone with the same and knows how I feel 😭
I'm a coffee addict100% my problem
I feel you, if you work on keeping it clean in the coffee, you’ll be better off.
What exactly do you put in your coffee now to keep it "clean"?
I'll be sharing more on that soon! But cinnamon, steamed almond milk and adaptogens!
Can you please show us how to make your peanut butter cups? If you already have a vid over it, please direct me to the link! I just discovered your channel so I’m making time to go through your vids 💖
Hi girl! Here you go: lovesweatfitness.com/heart-shaped-peanut-butter-cups-2/
Love this video! And love your outfit!
"I never eat and when I did it was fried garbage" 😂😂 too relatable! Love your content so much, thank you 😊 you're such an inspiration!
It is so true though! Thank you so much :)
Good luck!
I’m the same with the diet
Coke - it’s an addiction. I get such headaches when I go off it.
How many calories are you eating in a day for YOUR body stats??
Oh my gosh, yes! I am hooked on Stevia big-time. I cut out sugar years ago and have slowly become very reliant on stevia. Now I find myself craving things with Stevia all the time, like I’m getting a dopamine reward from it or something. And as a result of this my eating has increased and feels more out of control. I’ve noticed simultaneously that my weight is going up. Time to cut back on the sweet stuff 😩
Thank you for sharing!
Sugar. Sugar is my problem! I have tried Stevia and CANNOT get on board. Sweet tea is another weakness.
Girl! You need to try my Sugar Detox plan. It will totally help with cravings.my.lovesweatfitness.com/collections/nutrition-plans/products/sugar-detox-guide
so informative!
💪🏻💪🏻
I love this. Thank you for sharing this. 😊
You are so welcome! xo
I also have Hashimoto’s and hypothyroidism and I was wondering what new medication are you on and what dosage please. I love all of your videos as I know you can relate to hypothyroidism and the difficulties in losing weight and feeling like a normal person
Hi babe! I am currently taking Levothyroxine & Cytomel. Us hypo girls need to stick together! I can totally relate to the struggles.
What medication do you use to combat hypothyroidism? I kinda stop because i wanted to do a more natural solution dealing with it.
Hi girl! The medication I take is Levothyroxine & Cytomel. It's helped me feel so much better. 😊
If u were to go back to when you were trying to lose the weight, what is one thing you would change about what you did to start off.
Hi Koral! I would say comparing myself to others. Once I stopped that and focused on feeling good and fueling my body, everything changed. xo
What new thyroid medication are you on? thanks so much
Bummer..The link for the other 5 reasons isn't working...
Thank you for letting me know! I will check up on that!
@@LoveSweatFitness where is the link for the additional information?
Love ur channel! Ilysm❤️💖
Thank you so much, Avery!! Have a great weekend :)
Love Sweat Fitness thank u! U too💖💖💖🌈
Very helpful video - still working on kicking the nightly wine habit. Love your videos!
Love this! Which body composition scale do you recommend/use? I remember seeing it on your story a couple days ago but i didn't take a note of it
Dayle Kinsey that’s wayyy too little 1,000 is underrating I would say 1400-1500 even though I don’t count calories trying intermittent fasting that helps some people
Thank you for sharing ❤️
❤️❤️❤️
I was doing so good not drinking any sodas and something went terribly wrong lol. Thanks for reminding me to cut that shenanigans out!
You are so welcome! You got this babe. :)
Love You and all your advice!! Your the Best.. What name brand is your workout outfit? Looks super comfy
I'm so glad to hear that, Lisa! My outfit is from Tan + Lines! :)
Loved this video...I was cracking up when you were talking about not eating enough and you said “I was eating fried garbage”. It just hit my funny bone and I can’t stop laughing!!! Love you 💕
haha, it was the honest truth! 🤣
I know you said that you don’t count calories but do you count macros?
