Oh my GAWD! Dairy absolutely changes your face!!!!!
While I was breastfeeding my son, I had an empathetic reaction to cows having their nursing calves taken from them, and had no desire to consume dairy for almost two years.
The first thing I noticed when I stopped eating cheese was my face lost its round shape, despite not losing weight. It was so noticeable in pictures that people assumed I lost weight right away, despite the scale saying otherwise. Went back to eating cheese, and my face is puffy again. I don’t know why it happened, and the evidence contradicts other evidence whenever I investigate. But, yes, sir and ma’am, I know this to be true for me!!!

Reason people have sensitivities is we removed the ability to have good bacteria to eat the lactose. In turn have positive effects if left raw as it’s a dead food soon as pasteurize the milk. Raw would be pivotal point to add the ability to consume and have it nutrient dense.

Raw A2 dairy is great. Calcium inhibits iron, and iron overload is very common on carnivore/Lion diet. Balancing dairy and red meat is very important to not get iron overload or iron deficiency. That’s what the mongols did; the “red and white” diet.

Hi Mikhaila, I got this from GPTChat3.5 when asking the difference between The Carnivore Diet and The Lion Diet so, (The Lion Diet: This diet, popularized by Dr. Kevin Stock, is a more restrictive version of the Carnivore Diet. It focuses on animal foods with the highest nutrient density, such as ruminant meat (beef, lamb, venison), organ meats, and bone marrow. It excludes foods like dairy, eggs, and seafood, which are allowed on the standard Carnivore Diet.) So all I wanted to ask is can I substitute the Venison with Goat meat as I can't stand the taste of Venison as it tastes like liver?

    • @kam2162

The key takeaways from Mikhaila Peterson's discussion on fat loss and gut health include:
    1. **Elimination of Specific Foods**: Peterson emphasizes the importance of cutting out gluten, dairy, and soy from the diet to improve overall well-being and address weight and cognitive issues.
    2. **Ease of Going Gluten-Free**: With the abundance of gluten-free alternatives available today, removing gluten from one's diet is more accessible than ever and is recommended as a starting point for better health.
    3. **Increasing Meat Consumption**: A diet prioritizing meat and reducing grains is suggested, with the advice to consume meat first during meals to enhance satiety and reduce the intake of potentially problematic foods.
    4. **Dietary Changes Before Lifestyle Changes**: Peterson notes that dietary adjustments can lead to improvements in other areas of life, such as sleep quality and exercise habits.
    5. **Gut Health and Gluten**: She theorizes that gluten's harmful effects may be linked to increased gut permeability and inflammation, even in individuals without celiac disease.
    6. **Dairy and Health Issues**: The potential for dairy to contribute to autoimmune symptoms and its addictive nature, possibly due to components like casomorphin, are highlighted as reasons to consider eliminating it from the diet.
    7. **Skepticism Towards the Demonization of Seed Oils**: While not a proponent of seed oils, Peterson suggests that the negative health impacts of seed oils might be overblown and that quality and oxidation levels could be more crucial factors.
    8. **Practical Dietary Swaps**: Suggestions for simple dietary changes include replacing traditional breakfast foods with whole food options, cutting out desserts, and choosing gluten-free products.
    9. **Individual Dietary Responses**: Acknowledging bioindividuality, Peterson encourages a personalized approach to diet, recognizing that different people may react differently to various foods.
    10. **Broader Approach to Health**: Beyond diet, Peterson hints at the importance of considering environmental factors, like exposure to toxins or mold, in understanding and addressing health issues.

Maybe it is due to the morphine affect from the casomorphins in milk or the opioid affect of gluten. They are drug like in how they stimulate receptors. If you want off of it for a significant period like 6weeks-2months them add it back in, you may see more of a difference in symptoms. For me my eczema went away then came back when I reintroduced gluten. Dairy makes me bloat as lactose feeds infection.

I would highly consider the role of the brain in these processes, where it becomes hyper vigilant and after the initial infection/environmental toxicity, paired, often, with various traumas or emotional challenges, sets an overfocused perimeter of safety I call it that becomes overkill, sending immune responses where trouble no longer exists. It is the immune system causing all the symptoms, so what triggers it. Real infections, AND hyper vigilance. Personally, a huge proponent of very specific brain retraining/repatterning

The people that comment maliciously think she's grifting or have weird biases, when yes she is economically motivated to advertise her businesses, but she is talking about her very real anecdotal experiences. A lot of people who are for the most part gut healthy and just fat can't seem to think otherwise OR they're vegan zealots who think plants would never cause problems. Sadly even a lot of GP Doctors know nothing about diet or they're too afraid to give advice on it, so people are forced to seek advice elsewhere.

With the dairy issue I have heard that most of the problem comes from the pasturization of dairy along with homogenization of milk. Raw dairy can be better tolerable because it contains enzymes. Non homogenized milk can be better tolerable because the fat isn't obliterated.
The other theory is we evolved on A2 dairy and not A1 dairy.
Not sure if either of these are correct but it's what's come up in my research.

There’s a theory that autoimmune disorders are at least to some degree because of vitamin A (retinols, beta carotene, etc). If you were raised on carrots and liver, your liver fills up with vitamin A a lot faster. Most of us hit middle to older ages and get “diseases of age”…that actually could be exposure over time to a toxin (vitamin A). Grant Genereux has written several books about this that can be downloaded for free on his website.

I figure autoimmune diseases caused by having too many pharmaceutical drugs, including vaccinations (kids have way, way too many before they are even 8 years old, apparently). For myself, a 45-yr vegan who stays away from pharmaceuticals as much as possible, I have fabulous immunity - rarely, rarely get sick or a cold, heal very well & quickly from injuries. 76-yr old woman. The problem with seed oils are the processing process and the omega 6 to omega 3 ratio is so outta whack. It should be a 2to 1 ratio. Most people have something like a 20:1 ratio. Cut out seed oils for sure increase quality meat and you’ll end up with the proper ratio naturally. It is more about decreasing your omega 6 rather than increasing omega 3.

There is something wrong, hidden and unknown with today's dairy that didn't used to be. I grew up consuming lots of commercial dairy. Milk, cheese, ice cream, cream, yogurt: you name it and I ate it with no ill effects whatsoever that I could notice. But in later life, say the last decade or so past age 55 I developed some kind of dairy allergy. No, it is not lactose intolerance. I can still digest dairy all day with no negative gastrointestinal impact. And no I don't think it's old age related. I'm fit, have robust health and can eat all kinds of foods. But any dairy makes me break out these hard, large pimples in random places on my body. Even extra creamy butter and heavy cream cause it. The pimples have hard cores, not white stuff like acne. They cannot be popped and last for weeks. I suspect it is an allergy to some type of dairy protein. I've tried organic, raw, lactose free, etc. and it's always the same. If you're having GI problems, it's a good call. Think about how it causes gas in your intestines. That's disruptive to gut healing. Ayurvedic medicine also suggests that you save garlic for use as medicine. If you eat it all the time, it won't be as medicinal for the body. The garlic has to be crushed and eaten raw though.

    • @benbennemans
      @benbennemans Місяць тому +1

      @@jimdandy8996
Yeah, I've heard that question before, so I did some research. From the information I gathered, my green smoothie reduces the risk of kidney stones. You get them from dehydration and a high intake of animal products. I make my green smoothies with plenty of water, so that helps to counter dehydration. As for animal products, they make your urine more acidic, which can lead to more stones. On the other hand, vegetables make your urine more alkaline, which is better for preventing kidney stones. There was a study in 2014 where they removed vegetables from a diet, and the kidney stone rate went up. They even conducted studies where dietary intake of oxalates was increased by 25 times, and still, there was only a mild increase in urine concentration. So I'm less concerned about high oxalate foods. To counter kidney stones, people must hydrate well and eat foods that help make their urine alkaline, not acidic. My green smoothies accomplish this.

80% greens, 20% fruit you like. I use 2 apples (1 green and 1 red), a little bit of mango and then fill up the pitcher with frozen kale, spinach, and a bit of Broccoli. Very important to also add up to half a cup of flax. You need a blender that can ground it up, or otherwise use flax seed oil. I follow the diet from dr Goldner. Smoothie solution. She specifically says if you think you may be having problems with a food then remove it and see what happens - you don’t need to pay for tests to see what foods to eat. Those tests aren’t totally accurate anyway because of the formulations and process of the tests themselves so relying on a test instead of your own body is whack.
