    *Disclaimer: Unfortunately, the UA-cam algorithm thrives on titles and thumbnails that could be perceived as clickbait. Although I find this particularly distasteful, as a means of reaching a new audience or encouraging my current audience to invest their time into my videos, I must work with the algorithm rather than against it. Statistics have highlighted just how effective aligning titles with the algorithm is and although this can be frustrating for many (myself included), I will always ensure that my titles:
    1. Never promote false promises or unrealistic expectations.
    2. Will more often than not ask a question.
    3. Are worded in a manner that although might be perceived a certain way, are still open to interpretation.
    Appealing to more potential viewers gives me the opportunity to further the spread of what I believe to be useful information surrounding the topic in question, in addition to a positive message which often surrounds mental health, to help as many people as possible.
    It should also be noted that the majority of my videos are based on audience suggestions. ~90% of my audience are women, therefore, the majority of videos are created to appeal to my dominant audience.
    It must also be noted that although goals often vary amongst individuals, a lot of my opinions on movements are within the context of building muscle (hypertrophy) and therefore, should be considered with that in mind.
    Thank you for giving me your time.*

    Really was good to see you back, looking forward to getting back to work on things. I'm proud of you for being consistent with twice a week uploads for two years, no shame for the hiatus as bigger things needed addressed at the time. I do have a question; do you have any youtubers or specific videos that might help younger audiences? My son is 13 and very interested in weight training. Obviously, I'm worried about him getting hurt. We do not have the money at this time to buy a program or get him a personal trainer. Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for everything you put out and for creating a safe online environment for so many!

    Do you have any advice for doing the goblet squat with herniated disc's in the neck? I find that the space between my neck and shoulders always give out before I can get all my reps out. Pretty frustrating when you're trying to keep your chest up. I basically hold dumbells down between my legs or on the outside, like a suitcase squat so I'm more comfortable. Is it just as effective if I place a barbell on my shoulders?

    *Video request*: can you take a look at some of ballet beautiful workouts and how effective they can be? Those videos are ~10min and don't use weights. I never followed long enough to see results but many people talk about how effective the workouts are to build lean muscles.

    Question: does it matter how long between different exercises? For example I have a bench with a lying leg curl at home and my gym has a seated leg curl. If I want to do lying leg curls one leg day, and I do the rest of my workout at the gym with hours in between, would it make any difference compared to if I did it all within the same hour?

    • @chelseatomkowiak4207
      @chelseatomkowiak4207 Рік тому

      I’d like to know this too, often times I end up splitting my workout into 2 sessions hours apart because I have 4 kids, so it’s hard to be in my “basement-gym” long enough to actually finish the workout in one go lol.

    • @wheelofhands
      @wheelofhands Рік тому

      @@chelseatomkowiak4207 Hey! A fellow mother of 4! A rare phenomenon these days ;-) That's exactly the same reason I failed at my attempt to do all of my workouts at home and am going to the gym on my lunch break at work now. Didn't want to drop a dumbbell on one of my little minions

    • @hazaldenizaygun7339
      @hazaldenizaygun7339 Рік тому

      I don't know about what would be optimal but I'm sure in this case it's better to do a seemingly "useless" splits within the day than to not do anything at all / do a shorter session? I have physio sessions that are basically 7-8 set workouts and my therapist makes me do almost exclusively leg curls and leg extensions and I feel the burn for days after so surely it's alright 😅

    • @wheelofhands
      @wheelofhands Рік тому

      @@hazaldenizaygun7339 Good point! It doesn't have to be 100% optimal, but if there is a significant difference I could do 1 leg day at home or just forget about the lying leg curls

    Oh, question for the smart folks; i'm doing fullbody every other day, and one of my exercises is hipthrusts. I do use the pad, but i'm still super sore two days later. How can i minimize this? 🥲

    • @IreneNanaify

      I normally add a folded yoga mat along with the pad for extra cushy-ness when I feel that the pad alone is not working!

    • @lulagros
      @lulagros Рік тому +2

      I use the pad (the one for crunches and so) folded in half and thats usually good enough (im 62 kg and hipthrustinng 200kg), make sure you are positioning the bar right and not on top of bones or anything that hurts more

      Iron bull is pricey but worth it - I can't feel a 150kg hip thrust much through that one. It's also short-ish so it fits in bags easily
