Next Incubus recommendation: Wish You Were Here or Pardon Me
Nice! Nice to know you, Lizza:)
The warmth is also great.
Yesssss!!!
Seconding pardon me
I third Pardon Me!
FINALLY!!!!
“Wish you were here” by them is my favorite
Seriously good song
Mine too!
Amazing song
that's a pink floyd song stupid
🙌
My favorite song by them is 11am. I feel like everyone has overlooked this song cuz I never hear anyone talk about it. It has such a chill vibe feel
7am the garbage truck beep as it backs up and I start my day thinking about what I've thrown away 🖤
@@chelseaphillips9048 could I push rewind?
Absolute classic!
My favourite song, needs a good music video set on a beach at sunset
i love that song and the guitar on it super grungy
The list of amazing songs of Incubus has no end.
Seriously, just go through all of Incubus - Make Yourself. It's back-to-back masterpieces
Can't go wrong with Incubus.
Exactly.
Bro and privilege is a good one too
So so true. I'm so envious of you to be able to listen to such a great great band for the first time!
Agree
It’s just one of those songs that whenever it comes across the FM you gotta turn it up 🤷🏻♂️
Damn right my dude!
#FrequencyModulationSquad
Indeed
Literally.
Fr
“Pardon me” or “stellar” by incubus next
I'd recommend these two songs also.
"The warmth" is this song on steroids!
"Wish you were here" is a must by them!
When I go on holiday.
I immediately go on the beach.
Put my earphones in and play wish you were here by incubus...
It's a ritual now..
And it only makes sense if you know the song..
I'm counting UFOs
I signal them with my lighter.
And in this moment I am happy🤟🤟
Fucking love that song!
The sky resembles a backlit canopy with holes punched in it. Lyrics at their finest 👊🏼
@@c1audius absolutely my friend.👍🏻
Incubus are one of my, if not my all time favourite band. They’ve changed/progressed so much since the 90’s, and they’ve always stayed positive. It’s f you want to, check out Be A Hot Dancer, Vitamin, Nice To Know You. Then go to more recent stuff like Nimble Bastard. Such a change!
My favorite band too! I just commented the same thing and gave him lots of info, hope he listens to more!
Great song that takes me way back. The great thing about Incubus is that you can always tell it’s them, but each album brings a new style with it. Some other awesome songs from the album “Drive” came from would be: Make Yourself, Nowhere Fast, Privilege, and my all time Incubus favorite: Pardon Me. If nothing else, you have to listen to Pardon Me. It helped me survive the rough school years.
Man, I had SUCH a huge crush on the lead singer when I was a teenager...
I'm glad you are checking Incubus out, you have to see them live, a really awesome band! Great reaction dude
@@Bavio They are insanely good live, hope they come by after the pandemic so I can go watch them again
Brandon Boyd has such a pure, beautiful voice.
this dude understands lyrics in the first listen i wanna be like that
Yep, I knew when that chorus hit you'd recognize this one. Very classic tune, used in a few movies, played all over the place. Incubus is a great band that even I feel like neglect from time to time. Solid, unique sound... and I don't know about you but this always gives me beach sunset vibes. Not the lyrical content, but the relaxed, free feel of it. I bet this made the Miami playlist.
I had no choice but to be introduced to Incubus on the radio because when I pick my kids up from middle school and high school they would hop in the truck change the station and next thing you know I'm on to Green Day Incubus Alice in Chains, Limp Bizkit, Smashing Pumpkins... And now I'm happy your mother for it all!!!!
Talk about a "refreshing change of pace" lol. I've never seen anyone react to this song before. Thank you so much for doing this! I loved this song so much in the early 00's, with my impressionable young mind haha. This song was a favorite of mine that I don't think gets enough love and praise. I surely haven't heard much about it since it's release.
If you like Incubus, consider checking out “Deep Inside”, “Consequence”, and “Circles” by them.
Really anything off of “S.C.I.E.N.C.E.” is amazing!
I love Make Yourself, but S.C.I.EN.C.E. is so raw and just so good it's one of my favorite albums of all time.
@@fleshTH I love S.C.I.E.N.C.E. Definitely their most original work IMO
I've had to buy that album like 3 times because it ends up wearing out in my car.
Dude I imagine myself and a friend having the same experience Deep inside describe and is hylariious
Love also their older songs. Listen to Incubus - a certain shade of green.
And then follow it with acoustic version to really display the musicianship of this band
Pardon Me
Warning
Anna Molly
Dig
Wish You Were Here
Have fun in the rabbit hole!
Love 'Dig'!
Love hurts, are you in...soo many good ones...especially alive at the red rocks concert!!!
Warning is my favorite Incubus song
I forgot about these! Good list.
I don't know too many of their songs but have liked what I have heard. My favourite is Warning
Dude. Listen to me. You have to hear every single song they have made. They are incredible. Literally my all time favorite band
Incubus is my favorite band of all time. Their music changed my life and is honestly the soundtrack of my life. It has followed me for decades. Please listen to the warmth. I know you would love it. It's about not letting the bad things about the world bring you down, because yolo. Also circles. Those are my 2 favorite incubus songs with tremendous life messages. If you are looking for more popular songs to make videos about: wish you were here, echo, make yourself, love hurts, pardon me, nice to know you. Even if you don't make more videos please spend some time delving into their decades long career. It won't be time wasted, promise 🤘🖤
This entire album so incredible.
Listen to “i wish you were here “from Incubus
I love that you’ve finally got onto Incubus. Personally both 2001’s Morning View and 2006’s Light Grenades Albums, are incredible. Can’t wait for you to experience the full range of this band.🤘🏻
I rediscovered Incubus around 11 years ago when I was having panic attacks every other night. It's the only band that I felt like spoke to my soul and that I chose to enter and positively affect my life. Brandon is a true artist on paper and in the studio as are the rest of the band. I finally got to see them in concert, and it was like going to church. Their music is so etherial and positive that it's become a great aid to my mental health. No matter how deep you dive into their music, you won't be disappointed.
This made me remember my first time listening to incubus when i was a teen and oh damn, feelings, thank you for bringing those memories of happiness (:
I'm so glad you found this band, you would have a great time listen to them and i wanna recommend some on the same vine of drive: aqueous transmission, Talk shows on mute and one that actually makes me happy: Look Alive.
Have a great time listening to incubus
Brings me back to high school. I really like the song Warning by them.
My step sisters birthday is 10/24 and she loves Incubus so when that video first came out it helped me remember her birthday. Also, the song/video will pop into my head if I see the time at 10:24
Incubus is one of my favorite bands OF ALL TIME. Brandon's voice is something special, like how special Chester's voice from LP was. Nothing like it!!! One of my favorite Incubus songs is "Love Hurts" but so so so so many great songs from Incubus.
All live Incubus songs, they're so damn good live!
This is one of the more tame (but vibing) Incubus songs. I'd also strongly recommend the much more jamming "Wish you were here" (not to be confused with Pink Flloyd's song) and "Dig" -- both very good songs for Incubus.
You should check out „Stellar“ and „Pardon Me“ by Incubus
So proud of them as an Australian band. I grew up listening them in my teens and they've aged so well.
You hit the nail on the head with the meaning of this song man. "The algorithm" probably recommended this video because I'm obsessed with Incubus, but I'm super glad I clicked it haha.
You'd probably like to know that the album this song comes from is called "Make Yourself"! The whole album riffs on that theme of "making yourself". It has always had two meanings to me - "Make yourself" as in create who you want to be, and "Make yourself" as in the command to MAKE yourself do something. I hope you check out their whole discography, they are a MONSTER band (live as well). Cheers man!
Daaaaaaaaaaaamn!! I hadn't heard Incubus in yeeeeeeeeeeears!! Amazing band. Listen to their "SCIENCE" record, super funky, alt-rock.
As for a "metal tattoo" ... Well it depends. Behemoth's imagery is really cool and translates perfectly to a tattoo. I myself have an "unholy trinity". A cute satanic goat, an inverted cross, a Leviathan cross (which I also got), a hexagram (representing the thelema, and for some reason also BMTH ... ), a pentagram ... Or maybe if you're really into a band, maybe a design based on an album cover. A buddy of mine has the cover of Gojira's "L'Enfant Sauvage" cover on his arm ... So, there are a lot of possibilities.
Incubus has so so so many amazing songs, you should just do a series. A Certain Shade of Green, Pardon Me, Anna Molly, Megalomaniac, The Warmth. They're all good. I look forward to you listening to more. ✌🏻🤘🏻🖖🏻
It’s honestly one of those songs to play on guitar and have fun jamming to it! I’m glad I grew up listening to incubus! Pardon me is definitely a must listen to!
I was really sleeping on Incubus when I was growing up also, but a few years ago I really did a deep dive and they are truly incredible. Not a single song I don’t like, and they’re still going strong. Megalomaniac and Pardon Me are a couple of heavy hitters, and they’re fantastic.
Incubus also released an EP last year during the pandemic, and a music video for Our Love, which is definitely more modern pop but still a really great, feel good song.
Anna Molly or Megalomaniac by Incubus!!
Incubus Take Me to Your Leader is absolutely insane. One of their heaviest songs for sure.
Everything, and I mean everything Incubus does is GOLD!!!!!!
Please do dig. It’s one of the most beautiful songs ever written. Incubus or otherwise.
Incubus is a band that relax me every bad day of my life. ❤️
Other Incubus suggestions: "Dig", "Anna Molly", and "Black Heart Inertia"
Black heart inertia for sure!
My dude, some Incubus! So much good stuff here. A few of my favorites: "Nice to Know You", "Circles", "Vitamin" BUT - you really can't go wrong with these guys
Oh shit. Takin me back to the high school days. Incubus shaped the scene for a very long time. Good stuff. This album made them completely blow up. It's phenomenal cover to cover.
"Nice to know you" HD Live version and "Pardon Me!!!"
If you want another incubus song on the other end of the spectrum try “megalomaniac”! I can only imagine your reaction would be a hoot! I can’t not have that song top volume when it comes on my playlist!
Dig by Incubus, one of my all time favorites
So many great songs from them. Awesome in concert, too.
The entire Make Yourself album is one to listen to!
Especially the title track
You gotta do “Circles” off of Morning View!!! That song is a JAM
I've heard this song before and didn't even realize it before the chorus. The soundtrack of Surf's Up had this song on it, and it's what introduced me to rock music immediately. (Meanwhile one of my middle school teachers introduced me to metal music when he showed his class Crawling by Linkin Park)
Alternative rock and nu metal are no doubt my favorite genres because of my childhood.
"sick sad little world" and "megalomaniac" by incubus and pretty much everything from their "a crow left of the murder" album is pretty good.
Their album "Make Yourself" really does deserve an album reaction. It contains some of their absolute best work 👍🤟
Top song, so many great songs to get at here... Certain Shade Of Green, Glass, Redefine, Idiot Box, Pardon Me, Privilege, The Warmth... so so many. Get in that rabbit hole lad!
Metal tattoos... that Metallica M Ninja star...? The Slipknot S..? Maybe just a hand throwing up those metal horns??
I agree so hard with this. You gotta add anti gravity love song to that
Dig by Incubus is one of my favourite songs! I get so many emotions everytime I hear it.
More Incubus! Wish You Were Here, Pardon Me, Are You In?, Dig.... all bangers!
This is one of my favorite bands ever! You should react to “In The Company Of Wolves” ;)
Pardon Me is a great one. It really represents their sound and I know you're really gonna dig it
Awww man Incubus are so emblematic of my college years. Dig is my absolute favourite. Really beautiful sentiment and beautiful song.
I feel like you'd also enjoy their song "Dig"
Temple of the Dog - Hunger Strike
Chris Cornell and Eddie Vedder singing together...
Yes you got to here that it’s fucking amazing
I recommend another great song of theirs Megalomaniac this song is amazing and really relevant til this day
This is one of my favorites!! Look how young they are!! I was in my 30's when I first saw video, INCUBUS and I grew up together!! And we are ALL STILL KICKIN'!!
Gotta listen to their song, “The Warmth”. Amazing. My personal favorite. The entire Make Yourself album is a masterpiece.
So funny, I was just listening to this song last night. The first song of theirs I heard was Stellar and I fell in love with their smooth textures at first listen.
Check out Just A Phase. I think you'd like the vocals and scratching in it.
I’ve heard this song like a million times and not once ever checked out the meaning. I just thought I loved this song but now have a newfound respect for it now that the lyrical meaning has been brought to light. This is why I love reaction channels because they can shed so much light on something I thought I already knew. Great reaction man keep it up
Incubus is my second favourite band behind the Chili Peppers. Brandon has such a great voice and everything they do is great.
His analogy off the bat was spot on. Even better the albums name is make yourself. Incubus is a band that lyrically is top tier for the soul. Musically they went from heavy rock weed and shroom influence to soccer mom but still kinda tight somehow later in their career. Incubus is a solid band. Check out certain shade of green, stellar, make yourself and the warmth. Good start. Oh megalomaniac is great too!
do "A Certain Shade of Green", "Stellar", "Are You In" or any song in the Album S.C.I.E.N.C.E.
You gotta listen to “pardon me” now.
All throughout high school. Incubus was my absolute favorite band. I could not stop listening to them.
i always find myself coming back to incubus. i grew up on it. i can remember being maybe 3 or 4 sitting in the car with my mom listening to this song and her singing to me. RIP mom
Pardon me
Megalomaniac
Dig
Wish you were here
Those are a must!
Don’t forget Circles!
!!METAL TATTOO COMMENT!!
I feel like Slipknot definitely deserves to be at the forefront of possibilities, but what about Have a dope ass day in the really hard to read metal name format. I know that probably sounds cliché AF, but it's sorta non-denominational. It doesn't have any real loyalty to anything but you.
Just a suggestion. I'm sure whatever you end up going with will be dope.
about 2 years ago , I got a tattoo of Have a dope ass day, the text being done in the style of his shirts and other merch. I showed it to him on twitter and he liked it. No regrets!
"Have a dope ass day" in Slipknot style font
He needs The Terminator. That's metal right?
Maybe create your own Slipknot Mask and have it tatted. Floating numbers for all the members. A RIP for Paul in there. Lots of possibilities
TRIVIUM
Love it, man. Definitely feel you on the not feeling metal every day. Stellar, Wish You Were Here, Pardon Me, or Love Hurts for the next one! Keep em comin.
Seeing not enough love for one of their most underrated songs. "Summer Romance (Anti-Gravity love song)" off of their second album S.C.I.E.N.C.E. Cannot recommend highly enough.
New Skin is the Jam too.
listen to Incubus - circles, wish you were here, pardon me and new skin
You ABSOLUTELY need to be checking this band out more. One of my favorites. And they're quite versatile.
Love INCUBUS... They are a vibe...."Wish you were here" is one of my favs!!
Oh sorry my damn corrector, pardon me of incubus, brandon boyd is amazing !¡!!!
Alex: I’ve never heard Incubus
Everyone: if you don’t get the f*** outta here 👀👀👀
I had never heard it before as well
@@dergothischeimp8792 🧐🧐🧐 sus
@@dergothischeimp8792 GET THE FUCK OUTTA HERE!
lol
Love them! This song is a classic but sick sad little world and here in my room are my favs
Incubus helped me get through some tough times in my life.
My favorite band ever. They’re INSANELY eclectic. You wouldn’t expect that if you’ve only heard this song, but they came up with System of a Down and Deftones. Those are their homies. They do it all - metal, jazz, pop, electronic, Chinese Traditional, prog, etc.
Check out their song Wish You Were Here, Megalomaniac and most importantly Anna Molly
I saw Incubus open for Primus right when this album came out... this has to be one of the best rock radio songs. This album is just phenomenal
Hooray! A video drop on my birthday! This whole Incubus album, "Make Yourself," is one of my all time favorites!
I wish you were here, aqueous transmission, Anne Molly love hurts dig
Ps they really aren’t new 😂😂 they’re over 20 years old
Brandon is gifted … I wrote a song called Comets Fall ..,because of his talent . He shines . The nineties spun around him . Stars fall around him . Yes he inspired several songs on eight albums . He is also an artist. A California dream that weaves his spell . Some people have this thing and he had it .
Cant count the hours i spent on the beach surfing with freinds with this jamming on the on the radio...also rocked sublime straight feel good music.... keep up the great reactions!!!!
Yo whaaaa, I get I'm only a year or two older than you but how have you missed this song?
EDIT: nvm, glad you recognized it. Don't know if anyone survives the 2000s without hearing it *somewhere*
You gotta check out the songs “Idiot Box” and “New Skin” off their S.C.I.E.N.C.E album, their all time best record 💯🤘🏻(Also fun fact, right now my band’s actually working with the producer that made that record!)
Keep em coming, they are GOLD
Expanding perspectives is awesome. Wish you were here by Incubus is absolutely amazing as well. I seriously thing you need to hear Fugazi. Also, check out the canadian band Billy Talent.
