“I’ve heard this before, but I haven’t heard this.” Such a true statement for me and Incubus.....radio play and regular airtime didn’t do them even a fraction of justice that was served by simply listening to them on my own time. They speak to me in so many ways.
Loves me some Incubus...kind of underrated in many ways. To me they will always be a band I liked cruisin' to on a warm summer night, good selection man!
O B yes! I’ll be at that show on 5/15 at the house of blues and the next show on 5/16 in Raleigh, NC! So excited for the opportunity to see them back to back without having to travel too far!! It’s crazy how this worked out because I didn’t find out about their shows until they were postponed bc Brandon got sick. Are you going to the show in Myrtle Beach?
I'd love to get your take on another band that got huge in the 90's, 311. They put out music beyond the 90's but but the first 3 albums are my favorites.
Def check out some 311. You Wouldn’t Believe, Do You Right, Amber, and I could list 30 others. Old or new, 311 is great (as is Incubus, my two fave bands). Also check out Minus the Bear...would love to see that reaction ha. Pachuca Sunrise, Steel and Blood, Ice Monster, Thanks for the Killer Game of Crisco Twister.
Transistor is the best bang for your buck "no song lyric puns intended". Every song on that album is awesome. And there's like 14 or more on it. I love all their albums tho but transistor is def worth the money. That's a lot of songs. Not to mention they all are great!
Incubus, Deftones, Limp Bizkit, P.O.D, are just some of the bands from that era in alt-rock/metal which had turntables in their music composition. Loved it, because I am a huge hip hop head, yet a metal head with a dash of Latina and 100% Canadian :D
"Sometimes I feel the fear of uncertainty singing clear.. and I can't help but ask myself how much I let the fear take the wheel and steer" ~ "So if I decided to waiver my chance to be one of the hive... will I choose water over wine and hold my own and drive"
I bet the one your thinking of is called Wish You Were Here, or something like that. Love the channel, I like seeing the moment when a song wins you over. Keep it up my guy.
MATEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE you just give me the best Christmas present ever. Incubus is so underrated OMG this guys are just ace. The lyrics in their songs are just very deep. Thanks for reacting to both videos, you need to react to Nice to know you, Stellar or Pardon me from them as well. This band is just WOW.
Man i should been seeing them and 311 live last weekend in Irvine. I can express how excited was before pandemic happened. Hard pill to swollow to know misisng out on live music. I know its extremely haed for artist all over who had to cancel tours and shows. The return of live music cant come soon enough! And man when they come back i know they gonna come back harder than ever. Until then enjoying lots of music at hom thru videos..streaming..cds..live dvds. And youtube.
Incubus is in a league of its own. Brandon is gifted with a god given talent . He surrounded himself with super talented musicians. The drawings are originals .,, yes talent overflows. Incubus had inspired me forever. I wrote the Song .,. Comets Fall ..on UA-cam topic , Spotify etc.,,because of the inspiration that flows him . An aura you can call it . He has it .,, Comets fall around him and he tosses them back to the universe. The nineties were spinning because of Incubus ..,spinning in the stars , moon and sun ..,yeah see what he does to me .,eight albums … he touched the sky !
mmm very smooth still. That song here is one of my faves with their awesome harmonies and guitar melody's. From what i read it's about over coming fears. "Some times I feel the fear of Uncertainty stinging clear And I, can't help but ask myself how much I'll let the fear Take the wheel and steer..."
Yes!! This was a staple in the 90s my man!! Megalomaniac or Make Yourself from Incubus Those two tracks are very unique in their sound but two that YOU NEED TO LISTEN TO ASAP!!
I think you’re going to like Linkin Park, especially from the earliest albums of theirs, like Hybrid Theory and Meteora... they have a Dj too! Rest In Peace Chester Bennington and greetings from Maine!
Yes, as you said they use creativity in their videos. Brandon Boyd has amazing artworks too, and if I am right he might have done the artwork in this video too.
Good tune from back in the day. I was in Seoul S Korea when this song broke. This kinda of reminds me of Sugar Ray I guess cuz it was from the same era.
These guys and Jurassic Five were on a lot of tours together. You should check out one of the live version of Battlestar that has DJ Nu-Mark and Cut Chemist on it also, those are fun
Anna Molly is definitely one you should do a reaction to also...They were super young in this..Brandon Boyd is a dope lyricist..Impressive. We just saw them on their Make Yourself 20 year in the making tour..Make Yourself is another song you should react to as well...
A little late to this one but the time period made me think of so many bands I loved back then. Not the most amazing but somewhat lesser know would be the group Tonic. Check out some tunes from their album Lemon Parade. The title track is good, but it's most known for If You Could Only See, but I might recommend Celtic Aggression and Open Up Your Eyes.
Steely Dan can shape you like a Pink Floyd but are different musically....Try their HOME AT LAST..doesnt get much play time but we all know its a masterpiece..then the Dan's "SHOW BIZ KIDS...AND RIKKI DONT LOSE THAT NUMBER...and if ya want a little more Rock...Steely Dan's "DONT TAKE ME ALIVE"
Everyone's graduating class song for a decade. Incubus is a legendary group
This was my brothers graduation song. Class of 03
What a beautiful song to play at a graduation ceremony. I wish schools really cared about ideas like this
Nothing like good 90's alternative music
2000s but ok.
It came out in 1999, and was a hit in 2001. I guess it qualifies as both.
Incubus were at their best in the 90s Fungus Science
@@zeedevel7141 their best album that didn't mainstream. Not to say the other albums are not good, but you are correct 100%
“I’ve heard this before, but I haven’t heard this.” Such a true statement for me and Incubus.....radio play and regular airtime didn’t do them even a fraction of justice that was served by simply listening to them on my own time. They speak to me in so many ways.
"Whatever tomorrow brings I'll be there, with open arms and open eyes" . . .yes!! That's my jam! 🎶
This song is so chill.. I love the vocals.
incubus pardon me also! This song is another banger from them in my opinion
TheNineDivides ABSOLUTELY!! Hands down listen to that song!!! 🤘🏼

I love Incubus! Pardon Me is incredible.
Loves me some Incubus...kind of underrated in many ways. To me they will always be a band I liked cruisin' to on a warm summer night, good selection man!
Fun fact The lead singer(Brandon) and the drummer(Jose) drew the pictures used in the animations. very good artists.
Freaking legendary band in my opinion.🤩🤩 They have a 20 yrs tour coming up. South Carolina...May 2020.
O B yes! I’ll be at that show on 5/15 at the house of blues and the next show on 5/16 in Raleigh, NC! So excited for the opportunity to see them back to back without having to travel too far!! @@burky3490 Yes I'm definitely attending the show in myrtle beach. I can't wait 🤗.
Covid-19 was like nah no concert
I'd love to get your take on another band that got huge in the 90's, 311. They put out music beyond the 90's but but the first 3 albums are my favorites.

One of my favorite songs from that era.
Incubus is legit one of the best bands to hear live. It´s such an amazing experience!
Drive is one of my all time favorite songs to listen to when I'm driving long distances, puts me in the driving mood.
My favorite band for over 20 years. I listen to them everyday, never gets old. Please see them live if you get the chance!

If you have ocd and anxiety this song speaks.
The Grunge masters of SoCal .... amen for Incubus for helping save rock music in the 90s and beyond. If Not Now Then When is a must listen... amazing
You can't go wrong with this band!!! Amazing live as well. A certain shade of green would be an awesome reaction!!! Thanks as always Jamel!
Great song. Incubus is such a great band. Fun Fact: Lead singer Brandon Boyd is also an accomplished artist and did all the artwork for this video.
i reaaalllyyy hope he listens to Aqueous Transmission by these guys. one of my all time faves from Incubus!!
One of the best mix masters I've ever seen . Creative Music and Musicians.🌟🌟🌟🌟
I bet the one your thinking of is called Wish You Were Here, or something like that. Love the channel, I like seeing the moment when a song wins you over. Keep it up my guy.

Another song I play constantly! Love INCUBUS! 💪💪💪💪💪
I bet you it’s “Pardon me” that you’ve heard. Please do more Incubus!
These Master Musicians are absolute fantastic live. 🎼😎🤘🎼 Denver Colorado USA

He's actually is singing about choosing to be a sober driver so he will see tomorrow!
Lol you’re being sarcastic right? I don’t think he means driving in the literal sense of the word nor is choosing the water over wine
I completely forgot about this group! Thank you for playing these that I love!! 💜💜💜💜

Thank you for being one of the only to review INCUBUS !! Check out Incubus - NICE TO KNOW YOU
I have a long list of old songs from across all genres that I can still listen to all the time, and this is definitely on the list!!
My mom introduced me to sooo many bands from the sixties and seventies! I was young then but I loved the music and am so happy she did!!
This song helped me during a dark time in my life. I was severely depressed.
This video started me man-crushing on Brandon Boyd. He’s a pretty man.
Dig is my favorite by them but also: Pardon Me, I wish you were here, & Black Heart Inertia 😍
2:09 "Creative video" yes, Brandon the singer, drew those for real.
Beautiful song, love this! Thanks for reviewing! ❤
My childhood! Thanks for the refresher :D
Please do a review of Incubus song "Pardon Me," and "Stellar" please!

Absolutely love this song!
Classic Incubus such a good band
I listen to this song periodically as a reminder to myself
Do a reaction to Deftones feat Incubus (Brandon Boyd) & Adam Sandler, Be Quiet and Drive (acoustic)
Must react to their album S.C.I.E.N.C.E its amazing anything on it is fire
I recommend Incubus - Are you in
They are incredible live, watch the look alive version of Sick Sad Little World, it is the greatest live performance I have ever witnessed.
My first time watching video,...love it!❤️❤️
mmm very smooth still. That song here is one of my faves with their awesome harmonies and guitar melody's. From what i read it's about over coming fears.

Megalomaniac or Make Yourself from Incubus
Those two tracks are very unique in their sound but two that YOU NEED TO LISTEN TO ASAP!!
Can we talk about his "foxy grandma" t-shirt though?
I think you’re going to like Linkin Park, especially from the earliest albums of theirs, like Hybrid Theory and Meteora... they have a Dj too! Rest In Peace Chester Bennington and greetings from Maine!
S.C.I.E.N.C.E every song is cracking!

Morning View is one of my favorite albums
My favorite Incubus song
My Favorite song from Incubus!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I loooooove this song ! Thank you !
The turntables were essentially another percussion instrument in this song
'Deep Inside' is a deep cut, but A+! All their songs are great.. little something for everyone, and no album alike.
Maybe the one you are after is Megalomaniac?
Dude you’re probably thinking of “Are you in?” from their Morning View album
I love that song! It always puts me in the best mood!

Another classic. Thanks!
These guys and Jurassic Five were on a lot of tours together. You should check out one of the live version of Battlestar that has DJ Nu-Mark and Cut Chemist on it also, those are fun
GFR.... Inside Looking Out That is the ultimate reaction. And ultimate performance. Everything else is not even close.
I don’t know if anyone mentioned yet but the art work in this video is done by the lead singer. He’s a very talented artist too!!
I'd guess Pardon Me could be the song you're thinking of.
The next three piece has to be, Stellar, Wish You Were Here, and Pardon Me
please give a chance to the Incubus song "Deep Inside" from the SCIENCE album. you will enjoy it.
He wasn't "mixing", he did a super simple scratch on the easiest piece of equipment in that room
Stellar- incubus is pretty good, this album is a fantastic album imo.
Dig this- The current bass player, Ben Kenney, used to be a member of The Roots 😉🎶🙏
Anna Molly is definitely one you should do a reaction to also...They were super young in this..Brandon Boyd is a dope lyricist..Impressive. We just saw them on their Make Yourself 20 year in the making tour..Make Yourself is another song you should react to as well...
