"Pardon Me" &"Wish you were here" are bangers by Incubus
Megalomaniac is one of my favs.
Wish you were here has amazing lyrics. Painting pictures with them.
Pardon Me is one of my all time favorite 90s songs.
All of the above!
Love Hurts. Another exceptional song
The Incubus rabbit hole runs VERY deep. More, please.
They are in for a huge treat with this band
I 2nd, 3rd, and 4th this request!!!
I agree!!! And its going to be a fun ride ....
Love Hurts, please
Jumping on this bandwagon
Their song "Dig" literally makes me cry. My boyfriend was an alcoholic and succumbed to organ failure in 2019.
He would send me songs often that he felt embodied his thoughts and feelings and how he felt about me.
My favorite song of theirs.
Shivers. Yeah. Dig really gets to the heart of anyone who listens...it's a beautiful song.
My absolute favorite song of theirs. That song is so deep
First and most important: I'm very sorry for your loss.
Second and far less consequential: It's my favorite as well. I've never understood why it wasn't a "bigger" song.
Warning moves me the same way. Can't go wrong with Incubus in my opinion.
"Nice to Know You", "Wish You Were Here", "Pardon Me", "11am", "Warning"....i can go on and on with Incubus. Love them.
Redefine or anything from the late 90’s albums! This is so overplayed!! Lol
As an old guy at 60, I actually like and enjoy this song.
I'm 65 and I still kept up with music until 2010 then it went downhill or I got old.
Of course…That’s because you like music!
At 52, same
I'm 60 ..You're not an old guy! We just love the music!
What happened at 59 years Bryan??
Another 90s band to try is Filter. “Take a picture “ or “Hey man nice shot”
I let fear and anxiety run my entire life, so bad that I never got my driver's license. The metaphorical point of driving and life control was so strong; it moved me to get my license that year, at 40 years olds, and I've been driving and controlling my life ever since. Thanks Incubus! 👍
That's a cool story, man. Congrats!
44 and still working on it so I know how difficult it can be. Congrats.
That is a great story. Definitely congratulations to you!! Isn’t it just amazing how fast time really goes by?
@@randycooper3428 Try to concentrate on the freedom you'll feel not having to depend on anyone to get you where you want to go. That thought helped sideline the fear for me. That's how I did it! 😉 Good Luck!
Shew....I completely understand. I haven't been outside in 5 years. It isn't easy. I'm working on it but it's a hard road.
“Pardon Me” by Incubus will be one of J’s top 20 songs on the channel after he hears it. I’m calling my shot now.
Good Call
Agreed.
Agree!
Incubus is such an underrated band! The message in this song is so good! It was released in 1999-2000 originally and after 9/11 had a huge resurgence!
FACTS! Agreed how underrated they are.
Incubus is a special band. The whole morning view album needs a listen. For individual songs, I recommend strongly Nice To Know You, Dig, Pardon Me (one of my top faves), Stellar, Warning (another top fave!), Wish You Were Here was a huge hit but overplayed so it lost its sparkle for me. Are You In? is also fun. I could honestly keep going, this bands lyricism is special and even better for me now in my 30s.
I concur . Brilliant album
Add "Megalomaniac" to that list.
Echo!!
@@TwoFeet.FourWheels YES !!
Yes yes yes!! 🙌🏻🙌🏻
Brandon Boyd has always gotten a lot of respect from me. This man is an incredible Artist. As a person who does Art in my free time, I admire this masterpiece of a video. Thank you for this.
My husband has spoiled me with two of his autographed pieces and they’re my 2 favorite pieces of art 🥰 Jose (Drummer) is very talented as well!
Great song. “Pardon me” for their next one, please.
Mos def 🤘🔥🤘
Honestly…that’s the one for J even more than this.
I’m a huge 80s music fan who also loves 90s music. This song is one of my favorites from the 90s. 👍 This was from 1999, but it sounds like it’s smack dab in the middle of the 90s.
Same, totally! 80's for life, but mad respect for 90's 🤘
I always thought it was a very transitional tune bringing in the 00's...
Boy. This was a HUGE hit when it came out. Kind of the new school of music of its time. Great tune.
I promise you this song get's better every time you hear it, playlist material for sure. Have a great Christmas and New Years fam 🤟
You guys keep on the journey I’m 67 and you two have thousands and thousands of bands to cover, love the journey with you two.
Incubus is such a talented band, under rated. Live shows are the best.
This song, to me, speaks to not allowing fear of the unknown hold you back (hello anxiety). Instead, embrace that you can only control what you can and life to the fullest.
FINALLY...You guys got to Incubus. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this band. Great in concert too. I was turned on to them by this song. Then I heard more of their songs. HOOKED. Brandon is one of my favorite vocalist. This is my go to karaoke song.
Brandon Boyd’s vocals are next level!
Have always loved this song so well done.
Yes! A great song for rough days, too.
Yay! More Incubus, please! Can't believe you haven't reacted to them yet. 'Dig' is a great song from them, among so many great others!
** DIG** Saw Incubus last summer.. Great show!!.. "Drive" is a great song, "DIG" even better.. Also "Wish you were Here"..
One of my Favorite bands! My favorites from them were
Nice To Know You,
Wish You Were Here, Warning,
& Are You In.
These are all from their Morning View album
A vote from me for Warning!
All great songs, but "The Warning" also has a fantastic music video.
The lead singers sounds the same live! Excellent voice.
Dig & Warning, two cool songs...saw them in concert back in 2009, great live band
Genre: Rock, Pop
Song: "Cult of Personality"
Band: Living Color
Year: 1988
Great song, Pardon Me needs to be next Incubus reaction
90's music.... as much as I try new music, I go back every time.
Love me some Incubus! Takes me back to my 20’s! Great memories
"Are you in" would be a great follow-up.
One of my favorite groups. Their song Dig is my jam
Incubus is incredible. I have seen them live twice. "Pardon me" was my ring tone for like 5 years when I was young.
The warmth by Incubus i think is one of there most underated songs. Lyrics are so meaning full, like most there songs but even more.
Super late 90s. The album “Make Yourself” was released in 1999. But this single was actually released in 2000. Still qualifies as 90s.
One of the coolest songs. A lot of great memories from the late 90s.
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this song!!!!!!
One of the best songs of the 90s, vocals are virtuous...great group!!
I've been requesting this song for 3 years now. I've been with you guys since the start, please check out Sabaton - Christmas truce. It's the greatest Christmas song that you've never heard. It highlights a truce in WW1 on Christmas between British French and German soldiers on the front lines and trenches where they came together, drank and even played a game of soccer before returning to war the following day. Very powerful song about finding humanity in the least humane of places. Features Floor Jansen from nightwish in the closing credits.
Ah. I've been with them almost as long. Then maybe there is hope for a Sarah Vaughan or Toni Braxton reaction. I keep requesting but zero for these two. 😢
@@blackblake3658 definitely feel overlooked as well
This song is STILL a mood.
I've mentioned it before, but you really need to check out a Scottish band called Travis -- late 90's/early 2000's was their heyday. Fran Healey's vocals are incredible and their songwriting is next level. Why Does It Always Rain On Me?, Driftwood, Writing to Reach You, Turn, Sing, Coming Around, Flowers in the Window, just to name a few.
Agreed!!! Sooooo good!
Many Many Many Great Albums from this Amazing Band!
Incubus has so many great songs. Actual Worldwide Hits, not obscure stuff. If you just stick to their hit songs, there's plenty more Incubus reactions to do.
that's how i feel about 70s,80s and 90s music. it's all a vibe with good messages
This band still has it. Saw them live couple years back. phenomenal
Incubus is one of my favorite bands ever, so many good songs that go under the radar. You guys should definitely do the rabbit hole of Incubus!
Incubus used to be one of my favorite bands. Thanks for reminding me why. I highly recommend the songs Wish you were here & Warning.
This is it…this song is so meaningful to me.
If you guys don't know them, you should check out The Fray. Awesome group that formed in mid-2000's. First song should be "Over My Head (Cable Car)" from 2005. You both will love this group.
Also Kings of Leon is another great group. Start with "Use Somebody"( 2008) and then go back to earlier music.
"Running Away", by Roy Ayers (1977) ★★★★★.
A total groove song! Will have y'all dancing and "pop locking" in your seats, for sure! ;)

@@glennlissner350 Thanks!
Harvey Danger did "Flagpole sitta"
@@joetoth2564 Thanks, I'll fix it
I’ve been suggesting Bullet With Butterfly Wings for months. I think they’re on the fence about the Pumpkins which is fair; Billy Corgan’s voice is an acquired taste for some. But I think Jay would enjoy Bullet. I also think they’d like Rhinoceros and Cherub Rock.
Incubus is one of my absolute favorite bands of all time. Tons of great songs to choose from, enjoy your journey with them!
Incubus are something special! If I may suggest more songs: Dig, Wish you were here, Make yourself 🤩 They worth your attention!
Now we’re talking! Keep em coming.
I absolutely love this song. One of my favorites during that time.
New music:
1. "The Blues" by Tony!Toni!Tone'! (said as Tony-Tony-Tony)
2. "Just Got Paid" by Johnny Kemp
3. "Close To You" by Maxi Priest (official video extended version with kids in video picture)
4. "Casanova" by LeVert
Incubus has some great music.
So many great songs. Megalomaniac is one of mt favorites. VERY underrated band.
So much nostalgia with this one 😌
Incubus is my all time favorite band! Their lyrics are mind blowing if people would actually listen to them. You guys should check out “Wish you were here” “Pardon me” & “Dig” if you want to hear some of their more popular ones.
Drive is actually my LEAST favorite of theirs 😂 Maybe because it’s so overplayed on the radio.
Thank you for the reaction ❤ Love you guys and I hope you and your littles have a VERY Merry Christmas!
Such a vibe. Takes me back to being in my 20s and living in a pre-9/11 America. It was the golden age and we didn't realize it.
I literally just recommended this song to someone else today when they were reacting to Drive by The Cars. Two of my favorite songs with the same title.
Incubus is so amazing. I saw them in concert last year and Brandon still sounds the same. It had been 20 yrs since my last show. I swear you guys have already reacted to them. Either way, you can't go wrong with Incubus! Make Yourself is an amazing album start to finish. They have a great discography.
Looooooooove Incubus!! Their music is 🔥!! Wish you were here, Dig, Warning, Love Hurts, Pardon Me, Knice to know you...SO MANY MORE. You can't go wrong with any of them!
Thanks y'all! I love this song!!!
Love Hurts and Promises are my favs. I think Jay will love Incubus. So Cal easy listening vibes, we love them here.
Just saw them in Missoula recently.....they are still as fire as they were when they came out as young lads. One of the best shows ive ever attended. And yes the DJ plays live as a part of their dedicated band lol ;)
i have seen them in concert a few times! awesome band! my youngest sister and one of my cousins got me into Incubus!
Dig, Warning, Love Hurts, Wish You Were Here, Aqueous Transmission, Pardon Me, etc. etc. etc. Saw them in concert a few months ago. STILL SO GOOD!
I've been waiting for you to react to this song! One of my favorites! 😃
Elite band. Great jam. Awesome reaction.
Geez this takes me back
This song is great! One of my favorite music videos ever. Now I'm nostalgic!
I've seen these guys live several times amazing !! Pardon me , wish you were here both songs are fire
I love these guys, love with every fiber of my being, to the moon and back, with every lyrical beat of my heart. ❤
You two are my fave reactors. This song holds a special place in my heart and watching you react to this was a reminder I needed. I am a breast cancer survivor diagnosed in 2/2019 and had a “cornerman” (as he called himself during my battle. Anyway he passed away unexpectedly 3/2020 and I swear music save me from the grief of the loss of him. This song in particular, after listening to it over and over, brought me so much peace and realization I’m the driver going forward. It’s so easy to get caught up in just coasting through life again and I needed the reminder I’m still the driver. Thank you both for sharing yourselves with us ❤
Incubus - dig, warning, black heart inertia, i wish you were here, stellar.....they have so many good songs
Now ya gotta do something from their heaviest album 'Science' ('97)! Preferably: New Skin, Certain Shade Of Green, Redefine, Deep Inside, or Summer Romance (AGLS). Pardon Me or Stellar from this album 'Make Yourself' were also hits!
Already got this one on my playlist! Love, love this song! So smooth!
This has always been a favorite of mine.
They are ahead of there time they have a incredible play list.
Love this song
So my understanding on this song and why they keep using the lines like " be part of the Hive" and "Would you choose water over wine, hold the wheel and drive" delves into the concept of Peer pressure, the need to fit in with other people, and ultimately accepting that it's okay and in the long run better for your health to break that cycle and just be you as you are and not trying to please everyone you interact with.
The Morning View album is so amazing with each song tackling real personal issues with creative views told through music!!!
One of my favs
Yall need to check out Pardon Me, Wish You Were Here, Stellar, Crowded Elevator, just to name a few. Incubus is so dope!
My wife dragged me to the cartoon movie "Surf's Up" when it came out. When this song started playing at the beginning of the movie, I was like...OK, this might not be too bad. It ended up being a great movie. You should check it out on the movie channel. It's hilarious, has a killer soundtrack, and a bunch of stars doing the voices.
(Wish You Were Here) Is my all-time favorite Incubus song. You guys will like it for sure!!! The turntable, drums, guitar and lyrics are really good!!!!
Incubus used to stay at the hotel I managed at all the time when in town and were such cool guys. Genuine guys and fun. We would go out to local bars, hang and have a few drinks with them from time to time. Love their music and this song is excellent. Such a vibe!
Check out the band FILTER - "Take a Picture". FILTER is a heavier rock band but this song has a vibe similar to this and a great 90's tune.
Another 60 year old guy who’s always loved this song. May be my favorite from the 90’s
This is one of the few bands that I love their older stuff and their newer radio friendly stuff like this song. The S.C.I.E.N.C.E album is fire and buck wild then you have more radio friendly stuff like this and Dig which are fire as well. Just an awesome band.
Still one of my favorite albums!!
“Pardon Me,” HAS TO be the next Incubus song. You will both love it, pinky swear.
Incubus is great! Pardon Me is one of my faves! ✌❤
This song and Blind Melon' song Change are two of the best poetry put to music ever!!
In the nineties, it was a big deal to always have a designated driver if you were going out to parties or going to clubs so there would be no drunk drivers. The thing is, no one wanted to be the designated driver. People didn’t want to miss out. I’ve always loved this song though, because they’re saying you’re missing out if don’t choose water over wine and drive.
Incubus has a lot of great songs that you should definitely check out, e.g. "A Certain Shade of Green", "Favorite Things", "Pardon Me", "Stellar", "Make Yourself", "Nice To Know You", "Wish You Were Here", "Just A Phase", "Warning" & "Are You In?" just to name a few.
Love this song as well as, wish you were here
Love this song.
Genre: Indie, Pop, Rock
Song: "Song 2"
Band: Blur
Year: 1997
This is one of those songs I think everyone knows, because it's so good everyone should.
I was super excited to see you guys react to this! Incubus has so many songs I love. They have such a unique sound! A few suggestions are: Wish You Were Here, Pardon Me, Stellar, The Warmth, I Miss You, Warning, Echo, and Aqueous Transmission. ~Caroline
You need to check out Incubus Alive at RedRocks Concert. You will love the whole concert.
