Well she gad a hard pill to swallow. Here is how the lines should have gone. T-850: He will be your husband and you two will lead The Resistance against a rogue AI hunting humanity. Your role is extremely vital for procreation reasons and making sure John doesn’t become mentally insane. No you don’t get rings, gold has been harvested by Skynet. Your wedding will have epic fan-fair and fireworks symbolizing to the people your devotion.. She fainted… Analyzing health status… John she will live. I didn’t get to tell her about the epic battle creating the fireworks and fan-fair, ill explain when she wakes up. John: Please don’t do that, it might put our future into question. T-850: Affirmative, she seems emotionally unstable currently.
Sarah Conner - "I would like enough weapons to take out an army hidden in a casket in a fake grave for future use" Attorney - "That posses no legal problems what-so-ever. It will be done!"
I've always thought about this as well. How in the world she could put this amount of guns into a coffin and just leave it there without anyone saying nothing!
Sarah's will probably did not state to do exactly that. Instead it was probably in her will that the attorney give her friends something like a sealed letter that had those instructions.
@@laughingraven That creates even more legal impasses. How would friends manage to stash them there without anyone finding out? Can you just buy a casket and load it on your truck and take it home? If so, did they sneak in and stash it there at the graveyard without anyone knowing? Maybe, but someone is gonna ask questions about that plot. Who is sarah conner? This isn't supposed to be here. It would be shear luck it managed to stay there long enough to be retrieved by the right people. The sarah conner i know would never have done that. At least in that way. Bad writing if you ask me.
I love how the Terminator jumps up ready, concerned, not because he's worried about himself, but that a non-combatant that he's supposed to protect has a fire arm with questionable (not no) ability to use it. If she were to accidentally shoot herself, or John, or the ricochet off of the Terminator or the stone wound up wounding one of them is his only concern, but there it is on display.
After the last couple Terminator movies, I have a renewed appreciation for how good this movie was. Terminator 3 wasn't a masterpiece like the first 2, but it was actually good.
Have to disagree. T3 is not good. It’s basically a bad parody of T2. Same plot infused with bad jokes. Cringeworthy stuff like “Talk to the hand” or the TX’s breast inflating. I mean how did any of y'all expect a movie to surpass T2? That's the problem with sequels to movies that revolutionized a genre, no matter how hard they try they can't surpass the previous one. @@michaellam2508 Exactly. Arnie doesn't shy away from the reality of a situation and he's fully self aware. They could have been a bit more creative in this instance but that's something we've come to expect from Terminator sequels, a lack of imagination.
Looking back T3 wasn’t all that bad. It sucks that they did the whole “Judgment day is inevitable” bs as well but at least it was an enjoyable movie for most part.
yea, the only issue was the convoluted way they executed it and and what they did to the connors. If they wanted this theme they literally could have started out with a happy family moment right before one of the family members turns out to be a terminator and things go south real quick. Saves explanations with the family and gets us right into familiar territory while easing us into how the new future events play out.
@@inanimatesum4945 Thats a good idea. Where were you back when they were writing this up in ‘01? But in all seriousness yeah, the at some times wonky plot+a mixed batch of cast members turned this film into a Meh movie. Could’ve been a good one, but never as great as T2. Still leagues away of Dark Fate.
IMO it was a series of good scenes and a good ending, but it didn't have a solid atmosphere, and dialogues were cut just as they were getting interesting.

I just think we were robbed as fans with everything post T2. I can't go back and give extra credit because Genesis & DF were so much worse lol. I can't start grading the films on a curve because they are so rotten lol.
@@faz6877 Because. At Least T3 felt like it was actually trying. The Other Terminator films after this one felt a bit hollow. Genesys was close, but it actively damaged the continuity of the Films as now Skynet has a Near OP level of Futuresight, willing to come up with ways of Persevering itself! Not to mention, deals with the removal of John Conner from the cultural mind. DARK FATE was awful, hands down an film that had no Narrative strength, trading out John Conner by literally Capping him out of the rest of the movie just to trade him out for a Female Savior to fit the Female Empowerment statue quo! It was a Bait and Switch you could see coming a Mile away and it just didn't make any damn sense.
@@danielramsey6141 I think all the post T2 sequels “tried”. They were just way off the mark and not trying to honor the roots of the franchise. From that point on each sequel felt like a shitty parody, each shitting on the franchise in its own unique way. Agree 100% DF is horrible. But that still doesn’t erase how bad the rest of the sequels are. IMO Genesis is hands down the worst. But T3 - DF are all a slap in the face to fans. Some good ideas here and there but each movie is a mess trying to set up a trilogy rather than honor T1 & T2. I just think fans deserved much much better

Arnold knew this movie wasn't going to top T2, but that didn't stop him to play the role any way, in this one in Genysis and dark faith, he just loves the role and is loyal to it's character, got to admire the man for that. his character in dark faith was quite intriguing.

Terminator 3 has a 6.3 out of 10 on IMDB. That immediately goes to a 7.0 - 7.5 if the following things happen... - John Connor is played by a sober Edward Furlong - We get a background explanation that a partial backup of Miles Dyson's work was used to carry on the Skynet project. Maybe an opening scene flashback showing a recovery team at Dyson's house taking his computer and all his work. - A flashback to the events leading up to T2 are shown with a young Kate Brewster and John Connor. Maybe show a scene overlapping into T2, better tying the second and third films together. - Have a brief cameo with Robert Patrick playing an engineer on the Skynet project, thus explaining why his likeness was used for the T-1000. Rise of the Machines was hardly a "great film" but it had a lot of potential and really could've carried the series further if it'd been done right.
@@masterbateman2686 When Kate and John arrive to the military base at the end of the film, you see the early workings of the T-Series robotics division, and we first see the T-1 model vehicle. We could've seen Robert Patrick as a scientist/engineer at the facility working with mimetic polyalloy that would eventually become the T-1000.
Perfect examples of how to ascend T3 I agree it was a good film because of the vast potential it had whereas the future iterations were just creatively void
You must have missed the part in T2 where Robert Patrick arrived as a blob and immediately murders a Police Officer who he becomes as his first and main guy? I think that’s what happened anyway I vaguely remember.
I love the way Arnold gets up when she grabs the gun It reminds me of when you catch your pet doing something they shouldn't be doing and they just do that stare at you
@@JustSumGuy01 When Genysis erased the events of T1, that virtually erased all the sequals that came afterwards. By that definition, Dark Fate shouldn't even exist since it picks up where T2 ended.
Linda Hamilton was first approached to reprise her role as Sarah Connor, but she turned it down. In a 2009 interview with MTV, Hamilton revealed that she found the part too insignificant, since her character died halfway through the screenplay, and there was no time to mourn her. She was written out of the film, with a line of dialog by John Connor explaining that Sarah died of leukemia in 1997.
Sad to read that she thought that. Then she would basically throw her character away even worse when she signed up for Dark Fate. I think Sarah going out fighting Leukemia, holding onto the hope that her son would ensure the survival of humans is much better than taking backseat as a drunk and lost mess to a diabetic woke android hybrid. Just ridiculous.
Sarah Connor Chronicles was a different continuity. And I don't think TSCC ever explained how she got cancer in that continuity, but John suspected it was exposure to the Terminator, Cameron's (Summer Glau) power cell, but they never confirm that and they checked to see that her power cell wasn't ruptured. But yeah, they're are 4 continuities: 1. Terminator 1-4 2. T1, T2, TSCC 3. T1, T2, Genisys (at least I think is how Genisys works) 4. T1, T2, Dark Fate It's five if you just include T1 and T2 only.

T-850: He will be your husband and you two will lead The Resistance against a rogue AI hunting humanity.
Saves explanations with the family and gets us right into familiar territory while easing us into how the new future events play out.

respectfully I don't understand that logic. How can you change your stance just because you smelled a piece of shit that you think smells worse. It's a big slap in the face to Terminator fans IMO.
And you can use that same logic with a rewatch of T1 & T2 and probably still arrive at your original conclusion. I just think we were robbed as fans with everything post T2. I can't go back and give extra credit because Genesis & DF were so much worse lol. I can't start grading the films on a curve because they are so rotten lol.
T3, Genesys, and Dark Fate were terrible
@@faz6877
Because.
I mean T3 didn’t even use Brad Fiedels Terminator theme. That’s ridiculous! Not to mention the terrible comedy like “talk to the hand”. It’s more of a parody of T2.

Terminator 3 has a 6.3 out of 10 on IMDB. That immediately goes to a 7.0 - 7.5 if the following things happen...
- John Connor is played by a sober Edward Furlong
- We get a background explanation that a partial backup of Miles Dyson's work was used to carry on the Skynet project.

And basically made the T2 ending meaningless
@@JustSumGuy01
When Genysis erased the events of T1, that virtually erased all the sequals that came afterwards.
Sarah's cancer was all explained in the tv show Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles
How did the show explain it?
Can you explain it here?
Byju Joseph I think had to do with exposure to the liquid metal terminator
Sarah Connor Chronicles was a different continuity. And I don't think TSCC ever explained how she got cancer in that continuity, but John suspected it was exposure to the Terminator, Cameron's (Summer Glau) power cell, but they never confirm that and they checked to see that her power cell wasn't ruptured. But yeah, they're are 4 continuities:
1. Terminator 1-4
2. T1, T2, TSCC
3. T1, T2, Genisys (at least I think is how Genisys works)
4. T1, T2, Dark Fate
It's five if you just include T1 and T2 only.
