- Let's take 3 guitar overdrive pedals, and see if we can hear the difference, or if in fact there is a difference. Also some cool tips on gain stacking.

Mike has been playing the guitar since he was 12 years old, and from that first moment his love affair with music and the instrument began. Fresh out of school at the age of 16 he attended the Academy of Contemporary Music in Guildford and completed a year-long Diploma course.
After finishing the ACM his life as a full time musician began, playing in numerous bands and touring up and down the country playing iconic venues such asThe Shepherds Bush Empire, The Astoria, The Underworld and London’s Jazz Café. He’s also been fortunate enough to support industry legends Paul Weller, Blondie and Katie Melua.
Mike’s session work has led to his working on a variety of projects - from performing with stars such as Ricky Wilson and Diana Vickers, to appearing in many TV shows and adverts. Mike loves being on stage performing, but is equally at home recording in a studio - where he has worked with Alex Von Soos (All Saints, Seal, Atomic Kitten), Mike Horner (The Prodigy, Shakira, Bloc Party), and Mike Chapman (Blondie, Suzi Quatro).
There's always a "visual" part in our hearing, by the way! Eyes and ears are connected to the brain in very closed areas... best compliments to your bro. Very passionate about the topic (excuse the sarcasm...). Cheers and keep on rocking... on Christmas 🎄 time!

I really like my Mojo Mojo and i used to have the Sd-1 on my pedalboard, great pedals! Never tried the 805 though, but it sounds cool

Was just going to say Paul gilbert for years used a mojomojo as the foundation of his tone, with another overdrive infront.... and you started playing PG riffs.

Interesting comparison; based on this Gotta say the 805 might the winner. Slightly spongy but bright and still cuts through.
I’m amazed at your ability to play blindfolded. I’m lost when I can see the fretboard. Also, what does the term, “Too much gain” mean? I’ve never heard those words before.

harry balls murphey Yeah, when you’ve been struggling to learn a Rush song and then you see a 7 year-old Japanese girl whose fingers don’t stretch beyond three frets play it note for note, it’s a bit disheartening.
Yeah I hear what you're both saying but I would love to have a brother like Mike to learn from, I think you're either passionate about it or not, if you're not passionate about guitars and music you're just not gonna have the determination and drive to do it
