tip from a fellow Middle-Eastern subscriber to take the hummus game next level, blend with a couple of ice-cubes and you'll get a super creamy consistency, you can even add a tiny bit of bicarb when you cook them (only if you've used raw chickpeas after they soaked overnight in water)
Gaz is by far the best chef on the internet. He uses all of your senses when cooking (as well as you can through a video). His production team do outstanding work. Literary I'd eat anything he put in front of me.

In Spain we try not to burn the paprika, as it is just dry pepper powder, cause it gets a bit of a bitter flavor. Try to put the pan out of the fire when you put in the paprika or to add a little bit of liquid to stop it from burning. Or maybe you just like it that way😜 Love your recepies!

Look forward to trying the other recipes. I spent 5 days in Berlin in August 2022 trying out many Vegan restaurants and cafes - BRILLIANT CITY!! Thanks again for your wonderful humour and content in the Welsh countryside - Fabulous 😊

If you struggle with the texture of chia seeds, you should add 50/50 steel cut oats. They soak at the same rate more or less. Sometimes I also pop it in the microwave when it’s cold, but maybe add a small bit extra mylk first.
So I am really hoping that you are opening your restaurant in Berlin next (especially after I noticed you recently visited 👀) I love your recipes and videos, and would love to experience some Gaz magic in person soon! 🙏🏼
Can I suggest you to add a little bit of curcuma in the time your cooking the apples? It's so so good. And if you add a little bit of water you're gonna have a beautiful sauce to go with your porridge 😋

I love mushrooms but they aren't common with breakfast in the States. when i first traveled to Europe and stayed somewhere with a full English breakfast featuring mushrooms, it was a revelation

I never boil my canned chickpeas and my hummus is still very creamy (although I'm intrigued to do that from now on, since my stomach can tolerate cooked chickpeas much better). I think it depends on the brand.

They often have an additive to keep them firm through the canning process

You can’t absorb nutrients from a lot of the seeds unless they are ground up. I wonder if the same is true for chia seeds
