Love when young people go for their passion. I just starting the vegan journey and your channel has helping me so much. Gracias!! By the way I just ordered your 3 books from amazon (can't wait for the last one on April). Soon your 1 million subscribers will be a reality!!! :)
It felt like two old friends getting together to cook, and hang out. And each of them were trying to boost each other up, and appreciate the other's talents and ideas. It's refreshing to see people trying to build each other up, and show the mutual love for good food and fun conversation. I also like how they both asked each other questions that they thought that us in the audience would ask!
Something about both your energies is so REFRESHING. I love that Sadia is open about the fact that she hasn't worked with some of those ingredients before and willing to try.
Wow @people commenting on the eye roll and Sadia being cold and defensive- she literally asked him a bunch of questions about cooking and they just have a playful dynamic, like brother and sister. Besides, people being all "wow I didn't expect Sadia to be a bitch" HELLO SHE LITERALLY WAS NOT and stop putting people up on pedestals. everybody is entitled to be fucking human. jesus.
Also, what a sad fucking commentary about the expectations we place on women to be so fucking NICE AND GOOD all the time, Sadia is literally a beam of light in every other video, one eye roll and the internet explodes. Maybe she was stretching her fucking face muscles. Who the fuck knows. But just stop expecting women to be sweet princesses and calling them bitches when they are not. Just stop. //end rant//

My two favorite vegan UA-camrs together ... I can watch this a hundred times. I just love seeing how you two harmonize while still having you own specific style
They're styles are so similar, rustic kitchen plates and wares, kitchen full of beautiful plants, cook so gently and with so much passion.. They're amazing oh and the aesthetic as always and great camera quality ✨
I found Sadia’s channel by chance, a few months after she first started uploading and I’ve always LOVED her. She’s so sweet and very informative (as well as a skilled chef like Gaz). Gaz, I found from some snazzy looking thumbnail in my recommended feed. I used to flood their comments section on my other gmail account about them doing a collab and their first one made me ecstatic but a second one?? I feel so spoiled. IMHO, they’re the best vegan youtubers. Love how Gaz is so relaxed and laid back in the kitchen and it’s so cute to see Sadia acting like a little student watching him cook with ingredients she’s never used before. It was almost like seeing a child getting introduced into cooking because of how innocent and childlike it was. Hope you guys had fun filming and will do more collabs in the future. Have to give that pasta a try. 😋
Anyone wondering about the alcohol: some people don't consume alcohol because of allergies, religious reasons, don't want to open a whole bottle just for cooking (my main reason) or because they react very strongly to small amounts (like some Asians who lack the gene to properly process alcohol). Its totally valid to omit it as *it doesn't cook off completely unless you simmer it for a long time (+1hr)*. For anyone wondering what to substitute: I would use a tablespoon of red or white wine vinegar filled up with water to reach the necessary amount of liquid. Another good substitute would be a dried tomato pureed with water beforehand. You're basically looking for something that is acidic, umami and astringent, which both vinegar and dried tomatoes are.
Thanks!! I never drink alcohol and one time, when I was pregnant.. I ate a risotto prepared with white wine. Right away I noticed that tingling feeling in my legs of when I would drink some sips of alcohol.. sooo, there is definitely alcohol in a dish after cooking.. that night I took a sandwich instead
Just discovered Pick Up Limes. ( My husband's trying to turn me on to You Tube) Saw the plant propagation video first and I was hooked. I have now been a vegan for 5 days. The first real vegan meal I made was Gaz's pasta. Oh My Goodness! So delicious. I'm shopping for the lettuce wraps on Saturday. So much needs to be added to pantry going vegan. I'm excited for this new chapter in life.
I'm so excited for you! (,: it's a lot of fresh produce, herbs and legumes for sure. My sisters and I have also begun our journey after being vegetarians for a year! I wish you luck!!
Woohoo I'm excited for you! Don't be too hard on yourself in the beginning. The time to adjust is different for everyone. Just figure out what's best for you! A couple good docs are always encouraging. Some of my favs are: what the health, forks over knives, cowspiracy, and game changers. I've heard Dominion is pretty earth shattering as well but I'm still working up the courage to watch it. Sending love from Michigan best of luck 🖤
Have a good journey! Remember it doesn't have to be all or nothing with being vegan. It's ok to stuff up! Make sure you monitor your B12 levels! As long as everyone tries to aim towards eating less meat the planet will thank us.
I love how Sadia was so considerate about the wine, I and my family don’t drink alcohol therefor I was already thinking of a substitute for the wine. Whether to use vinegar instead or plain water. Love you Sadia, my family don’t like alcohol either.
King oyster mushrooms are one of my favorites! To make a super easy, delicious Chinese vegan dish, just stir fry them with sliced bean curd (also known as dry tofu) with some LEE KUM KEE Garlic Black Bean Sauce. Less than 15min for sure and so so yummy.
im so glad Sadia asked about the white wine. I don't drink alcohol and I noticed she doesn't include it in her recipes either. besides the deliciousness of these, the editing is amazing. can't wait to try these!
Love all collabs you guys do! Pick up limer here, so grateful for Sadia who shows it possible to have a balanced vegan diet which is so vital for the UA-cam vegan community. Gaz does great with showing others how much variety is available in veganism and challenges long-time vegan to try new things!
Just made the pasta, kale and mushroom dish. It was AWESOME!! I used oatley Greek yoghurt for the cream element and it worked amazingly. My husband was very quiet as he ate but I could see his eyes rolling around and he kept making groany whimpering sounds. Then I’m afraid to say ..... he licked his bowl. A fab recipe. Really lovely. Saskia (hope I got name right) is self-assured; has all the qualities you would want in an emergency doctor, plus for those of us who are aspirational and like the Royals she's beautiful happy well-married and enjoying her wonderful well-earned place on the bike paths of Amsterdam. To anyone actually worried about alcohol being left over in food after adding it to the dish during cooking (whether it be wine, cognac or something else), please know that left over alcohol WILL be present. If you're worried about the effects of alcohol from eating a dish containing an alcoholic beverage, don't be. Enough of it evaporates (and not enough is added) for you to not be worried. You will not have any measurable blood alcohol level. If you're not drinking alcohol due to religious beliefs or the like, be advised SOME alcohol is leftover. See i.e. www.isu.edu/news/2019-fall/no-worries-the-alcohol-burns-off-during-cookingbut-does-it-really.html for a source.

Ronnie Sodhi if it boils, no it won’t.
I don't drink alcohol. Not for religious reasons, I just don't. I will taste the alcohol in a dish and I don't like it. I will always use water.
I love wine, but with mushrooms I use lemon. It goes better.
OMG A creamy (Vegan) pasta That just looks so divine!!!! As a (mostly) vegetarian but not a vegan, and just learning, I had no idea you could buy Oat Cream even though I do use Oat Milk now- Will add it to the shopping list. I love Mushrooms with Pasta so I cannot wait to try this recipe out.
you´re amazing both of you! so inspiring, and it looks delicious, I´ll do the creamy mushroom pasta today
Nice collaboration. I like to see the interaction between the cooks and the degustation and comments about the dishes. I will try these recipes.

I love watching you two together! You make a great team in the kitchen.
It's like watching dynamo the magician. Just the natural flow of the cooking and love he has for food and flavour. Looks amazing.
Instructions unclear, you need a chef with you to do that within 15 mins.😅
Jokes aside, both of you guys are awesome, I love how you not just show how to make food, but also represent with beautiful cinematography and with the best music as a topping 😘
