Most of what we hear on UA-cam is men talking about fasting that is mostly geared towards men.
My husband and I started Intermittent Fasting since last year and he lost 45 pounds so far and I only lost 7-8. He is able to OMED and I continue to go up and down. Most of the days I have two meals and of course cravings for certain food on certain days.
Anyways, Last year age 55 I started to have heavy bleeding(Menometorrhagia) and my Gyn told me that my Endometrium Lining has thickened by 6cm. This was discovered after they had ordered a Vaginal Ultrasound. And now they are recommending getting DNC with Hysteroscopy done. Along with these my blood work shows that my Cholesterol is elevated, I am pre-diabetic and hypothyroidism. I guess the lining has thickened dur to too much Progesterone??? Am I right? They put me on the Hormone for one month but that didn't solve the issue.........I am constantly going up and down with fasting like roller coaster.... Fasting could be the solution to my problem...

I have an issue that’s completely the opposite of 99% of people out there !! I am 49 and all my life I struggled with actually keeping weight on !! I am 5’4 and 112lb ( I do eat quite healthy although cheating on food doesn’t affect my weight at all ) . I do have hormones imbalances and would love to start the fasting protocols but I am concern about losing more weight . Any advice please , greatly appreciate it . 🙏🏻

Dr. Mindy Pelz i actually took the Duch urine test twice . Once 5 years ago and my last one was I February this year . My Estrogen, Progesterone and Testosterone are much lower then 5 years ago . I do have lots of symptoms that correlate with the low levels of hormones.
My adrenals look much better then 5 years ago . The liver is clearing the harmful estrogen pretty good but it slowed down some since 5 years ago , so I am doing coffee enemas and start taking DIM 200 mg .
The test is indeed very accurate but quite pricy.
I am still not understanding how the DUTCH results has anything to do with my concern of losing more weight while fasting.

I had a total andominal hysterectomy on 9-16-20 and my GFR is 28 and I am struggling. My OBGYN placed me on Estradial 5 mg daily and now I have insomnia bad! Any thoughts would be welcomed. Carniviore #12 weeks
Jackie S 5mg sounds like a lot! If you check out her pinned post she says too much estrogen will cause insomnia. Also, low progesterone will keep one awake at night.
You are less than a month out from major surgery. Give yourself some time.
As a fellow carnivore I know it does help with wound healing. Keep eating your meat and be patient. Once things even out you may find you don't need the Estradial.

Dr Mindy, I am a 58 yr old post menapause (brought on at 35 after hysterectomy) I have autoimmune disease and I have been fasting for 3 years and have never lost weight! I have tried the carnivore diet as well and that made me loss a small amount of weight (7 lbs) I started taking sea moss, that had helped with inflammation and gut issues but I am at a loss, I continue to gain weight, I eat health little to no sugar, mostly meat and meat byproduct. Is the autophagy fasting based on human studies? I'm wondering if it's enough. A mouse fasting for 17 hours is very different from a human fasting 17 hours. We can go weeks without food. A mouse cannot. How do we know that we get repair and apoptosis effects from daily fasting in humans?
Flax oil makes me feel like when I was pregnant. I tried it for a few days. It's def not good.
